**Unboxing the Sony Xperia Z2**

We've got our hands on the new Sony Xperia Z2 and we're excited to show you what's inside the box. As you can see, this device comes with a range of accessories to get you started.

First things first, let's take a look at the paperwork that comes with the device. You'll find a user manual, a quick start guide, and some other documentation that explains how to use your new phone.

Next up, we've got the AC adapter. This is the power cable that you'll use to charge your phone, as well as sync data between your device and your computer. The design of this adapter is sleek and compact, making it easy to carry around with you on the go.

But what's interesting is that the adapter may vary depending on where you are in the world. In the UK, for example, we've got a micro USB to USB cable, which is perfect for charging your phone. However, if you're in a different region, you may find a different type of adapter.

In addition to the AC adapter, we also find a micro USB to USB input cable. This cable is designed for use with USB on the go (USB OTG), and it will allow you to connect other devices directly to your phone.

Finally, we've got some premium earphones that come bundled with the device. These earphones have digital noise cancellation, which means they'll help you block out any distracting sounds when you're listening to music or watching videos.

**The Device Itself**

Now it's time to take a closer look at the device itself. As soon as we remove the protective case, we can see the Sony Xperia Z2 in all its glory. The device has a premium feel to it, with an aluminum frame and shatterproof glass panels on both the front and back.

The front of the phone features the Sony logo, along with a 2MP front-facing camera that's capable of filming at 1080p. We also find two small speakers located on either side of the front-facing camera, which are perfect for watching videos or listening to music.

Moving on to the back of the device, we find the 20.7 megapixel rear-facing camera, along with a flash. This camera is capable of filming at 4K, which is an incredible feature that will allow you to capture high-quality video footage.

On the top of the phone, we find the headphone jack and secondary microphone, which are perfect for listening to music or making phone calls.

To the right of the device, we find a microSD card slot behind a flap, which allows you to expand your storage capacity. We also find a power button, volume rocker, and dedicated camera button, all of which are designed to make it easy to use your phone as you would a traditional camera.

On the left side of the device, in the center, we find a port that will be used to dock the phone, along with another flap that houses the micro SIM card tray and micro USB input. This design allows for dust and water resistance, which is perfect for those who enjoy outdoor activities or live in areas prone to rain.

Finally, at the bottom of the device, we find the primary microphone and headphone jack.

**First Impressions**

We're now going to boot up the Sony Xperia Z2 and see what it's like when you first start using it. As soon as the phone starts up, you'll be greeted with the Xperior logo and animation. The screen looks great, with a 5.2-inch display that features 1080p resolution at 1920 x 1080.

we get in here you've got a screen protector that comes with the device as well and looking at what else you have in the Box firstly you've got all of your paperwork so just quickly flicking through here so you can see what paperwork comes with this device and then we've got the AC adapter now this may be different depending on where you are this is the UK version we've got a micro USB to USB cable so this is your standard USB cable which is going to be used to charge the device as well as sync data and you've also got a micro USB to USB input cable now I believe this is going to be used for USB on the go so usb OTG and it's going to allow you to connect some USB devices directly into the smartphone and finally we've got some premium earphones now usually when you get a device you get some cheap earphones but Sony have decided to include some premium earphones with this device and these have digital noise cancellation on board now let's get straight to the device you've got a protector at the front and the back which will take off straight away and we are presented with the Sony xeria Zed 2 now it does feel very premium in the hand premium materials have been used for this device you've got an aluminium or aluminum frame with shatterproof and scratch resistant glass panels on the front and the back so if we have a quick look around the device itself on the front you've got the Sony logo with the front-facing camera which is capable filming 1080phd you've also got front-facing speakers on this device which is something new so only have taken a page out of hc's book and provided front-facing speakers so you've got one on the top and one on the bottom so this should really improve the sound on this device looking at the back you've got the 20.7 map rear-facing camera with the Flash now this camera is capable of filming at 4K which is absolutely insane so really looking forward to checking this out in the full review on the top you've got 3.5 mm headphone jack as well as a secondary mic I believe moving on to the right hand side of the device you've got a Micro SD card slot which is behind a flap so that's good to see that you've got expandable memory you've got a power button volume rocker as well as a dedicated camera button which is great to see because you can use this device as you would do a standard camera now moving on to the left hand side of the device in the center you've got a port which is going to be used to dock the device and you've also got another flap so if you open up the flap you can see here we've got the micro SIM card tray as well as the micro USB input which is going to be used to charge and sync the device now the reason for these flaps is because this device is a dust and water resistant now this is a key feature on the Sony experior devices and it's been continued on to the xeria zed 2 finally at the bottom you've got your primary microphone as well as a lanard slot so what we'll do is just give the device a first boot so you can see the bootup screen and see what it looks like when you first start up the Sony experior Z 2 so you greeted with the xperior logo and the animation and you're let straight in looking at the screen it looks very nice you've got 5.2 in display with 1080phd that's 1920 x 1080 at First Impressions it does look quite nice there's been lots of complaints of previous
