here's your earbuds now on the earbuds one says mclaren oh one says clips and one has the mclaren logo okay and upside down clips with the mclaren logo with the papaya orange ear tips let's see right and left brandon just drop these in the case okay good you see the red red on red gray on gray makes it very simple locks into place just like that all right so i'm to pause the video i'll set everything up and then we'll walk through the os another side note i just came back from the gym working out with my homeboy doing a serious arm exercise and you could tell look at my i got that my arms got the jimmy shakes i i'm sticking my arm straight out bro that was a real workout all right let me try to let me try to balance this all right mclaren carbon fiber i'm gonna pause the video charging pad and we'll check the case for wireless charge all right so i just plugged it in drop the earbuds on now if you notice you see that light flashing it is charging up and let's try a phone at the same time there it is up let's take a look at the actual charging case now this is one thing i will say i actually like the original t5 mclaren edition charging case a little bit better because you don't have the strongest magnets but you got a nice locking mechanism so if you drop these they never gonna open up these no locking mechanism but you got that same real carbon fiber with the tire going around it usb type-c charging slot on the back or papaya orange let's check the strength of the magnets i said we'll start with minimum shakeage nothing intermediate shakeage okay not the strongest magnets in the game they'll only survive intermediate shakeage then they're going to pop out all right so next let's take a look at the clips connect app now this is available for android and ios now once you pair up your earbuds open up the app it'll automatically connect and it's going to be all your settings okay so if you hit the menu you got home about and support here's your eq you got bass flat treble vocal rock podcast and custom i'm going to play with that in a minute okay now here's your active noise cancellation so you got anc on okay now i just turned on noise cancellation and i got that whoosh that quick sound of quietness i like that you can also adjust how much anc you want okay we can turn it off you do have voice prompts it just said transparency off now i just turned on transparency okay now i can hear all of my voice crystal clear let's exit out of that let's go over the settings real quick you got the name of your earbuds you got your updates again eq settings transparency setting you got interactions now you got head gestures so if i nod three times that will automatically answer a phone call shake my head three times i could decline a phone call or skip and reverse tracks customize it the way you want you can change your action button you can change your press and hold buttons volume up volume down play and pause skip and reverse tracks alright so fully customizable buttons you got your product information product reset factory reset device information now here's one thing i wanted to mention direct sound all right this is not a gimmick when i first read it i was like this might be kind of gimmicky but it lets you test it out so when you hit play it's playing some music right now then when i turn on direct sound the music just gets way clearer definitely so far right now i like id sound with that little clip right there i already like it all right so for the bass eq let's see we'll put up um we'll start off with bass why not matter of fact we could do custom i like see with my customs i like a lot of highs minimum mids and a lot of bass so let's go ahead and save it the way i like it first that's a little load in between each one okay now this is how i usually set up my music a lot of highs minimum mids not minimum but it usually looks like a v alright this is how i like my music but i'm going to test a whole bunch of different eq settings anyway all right so that's pretty much it for the app all right so now let's talk about the look and the fit now just put these back in my ears as soon as you put them in you got a nice amount of noise isolation but when you turn on anc you can hear that whoosh of quietness okay i already like that too and the way they feel all right nice and snug very comfortable let's do the head shake test i'm gonna start off with minimum shakage okay no movement intermediate shaking no movement maximum shakeage no movement at all all right the same fit as the original t5s which i love okay now let me show you how they're gonna look minimalistic style earbuds that mclaren logo is everything all right especially if you race cars you already know what it is but a nice look now i love earbuds like this as opposed to the pencil style i'll take these all day all right so now let's do a sound test all right so i got a classic song queued up we got yk osiris worth it now i just heard this in the gym and it kind of brought me back some memories so we're gonna try this one out now i'm gonna start off at max volume anc turned on and direct hd turned on because why wouldn't i all right here we go birdman hands rubbing together one tap on the right earbud for playing pause i promise y'all i'm not gonna sing but y'all know i got my microphone ready just in case all right here we go now i will say this wow super loud very loud you just gotta be worthy yeah yeah yeah yeah i will give you the world baby girl you just got to be worth it you don't got to be test with flying colors all right now look i know some of y'all be thinking i'm back here being a hype beast but look man i love earbuds okay now on a side note it's not a sponsored video y'all already know all of my earbuds videos that y'all see these are not sponsored videos this is genuine hype all right these whoo all right now i don't know i think these are definitely gonna be i gotta test them versus the sennheisers but i think these are already beating the gemini's i i think these are going to be comfortably at number four but i'll do a little side by side all right let's do a little bit more testing but right now whoa the fit on these these are nice and small now i play with all the different size ear tips i got the ones that i like the best but these sound incredible okay the sound quality in these now the only thing that could let me down on these is active noise cancellation now it's hard to judge anc when there's no noise i'm just sitting here right now all earbuds kind of give you that whoosh feeling of quietness i'm gonna have to take these outside real quick and test anc but i don't even care the way they sound right now i'm already feeling these the sound the look let's do a little bit more testing now let's do the reconnection test how long does it take to reconnect to your phone after you take them out and put them in the charging case all right i'm gonna hit play in the music okay take out the right side and the left side close them up let's make sure it's disconnected okay here we go one one thousand two one thousand two one thousands all right the music is playing in my ears right now all right so two one thousands also known as two mississippis that's excellent now let's do the one earbud test can you play music from one earbud while the other one is charging up in the case which can basically double your battery life if you need to all right here we go sit play on the music okay it's playing i'm gonna take out the left ear bud drop it in the case okay the right side is still playing let's put the left ear bud back in okay it just reconnected let's put the right elbow in the case close it up the left side is still playing all right so this is a major go you can play music from either earbud while the other one is charging up in the case doubling your battery life now let's talk about the touch controls now one of the things that i like about these earbuds physical buttons okay not touch capacitive no swiping around physical buttons that are easy to press and have a nice clicky feel to them all right so i'm gonna put them in my ears now keep in mind when you go to the app you can customize these the way you want okay so we'll start off with the right earbud one tap for playing pause that'll also answer and your phone calls you see the music is playing now double tap skip to the next song okay triple tap to reverse okay and long press to activate your voice assistant what's the weather for today okay there it is now for the left ear bud one tap that will cycle through between anc and transparency mode and you got voice prompts so i'm going to press it once it actually said noise cancellation press it again instead noise cancellation off press it one more time now i said transparency mode now if i double press that'll be your volume control now you see the volume going up now if i triple press from the left earbud volume going down you see it pretty dope alright so all of the touch controls work now let me talk about the gestures you do have head gestures and i just try them and they do work but um you're better off using the touch controls now i guess if you're in the gym or you got something in your hands you can shake your head three times that'll skip to the next song but um i just don't really like doing that but they do work all right so no issues with the touch controls all right so now let's check the call quality all right i'm going to call amy up i doubt if she's going to answer the phone because she out there living that college life but let's give it a shot okay dial the number it says clips t5 a and c let's get max volume now these are super super loud okay noticed when i just took these out the my atmosphere got a little bit more uh reasonable i seemed like i was talking a lot but the noise cancellation on these is pretty good all right i will say that call quality no issue she heard me fine i heard her fine even went after i just stopped yelling and start talking like a regular human being no issues with the call quality but i will make i gotta call one more person and i gotta test anc so i'm gonna call her from outside all right so i'm gonna go outside i'm gonna test anc i'm going to test transparency mode and i'm going to test call quality while i'm walking around with actual wind sounds all right so let's wrap up the testing now i did the range test i walked all the way to 50 feet hit my little 50-foot marker no drop connection at all bluetooth 5.0 no issues next i checked for latency i watched netflix amazon prime and a little bit of youtube no lag when i was watching the videos next i went to the store to get white shoes some food and i tested out active noise cancellation transparency mode and i made another phone call now as far as the call quality i was doing a walking talk all right so as i'm walking wind is hitting me in the face the person heard me fine i heard him find no issues at all all right so call quality pretty good transparency mode perfect no issues at all when i went in the store i talked to the bodega owner also known as poppy i took to poppy real quick with the headphones in my ears i the airbus headphones i'm talking about had them in my ears with transparency mode turned on no issues now let's talk about anc all right active noise cancellation y'all know i got three chairs okay trash tear okay tear and top tier okay now there's too many ear buds coming out right now you can't say this is number one this is number two that's number three number four either it's top tier trash tear or okay tear except for the sony's and the bows y'all know that's god tear all right now there's only two earbuds in godzilla category sony and bows i would place these comfortably and i mean comfortably into top tier noise cancelling earbuds right up there with the pi7s right up there with the eqs right up there with the gemini's okay top 10 noise cancellation i'm walking i did my little test in the house first with the fan right in my face i jumped in the car turned my engine on it definitely cuts out a lot of noise but if you all about maximum noise cancellation you need the sony's or you need the bose other than that if you just want top-tier noise cancellation earpod pros all right everything else that's out everything all the other high quality earbuds these are right on par all right these are top tier noise connection earbuds no issues at all and if you're in the house if you're in a quiet environment you're gonna find yourself yelling because the sound quality in these now let's let's wrap up this video real quick all right let's wrap this whole thing up number one audi is worth 380 bucks and the answer is yes without a doubt now i know a lot of people want to save money and get the regular ones you could do that too but if you about that race car life or you just want the wireless charge and the wireless charging pad spend the extra 50 bucks i just look at this this is worth the extra 50 bucks that carbon fiber i'm never getting rid of either one of these earbuds just because of the way they look now these are my number two best sounding earbuds without anc number one sennheiser cx these are close number two definitely now art is worth 380 bucks yes the fit is excellent i love the way they look but the sound quality the sound quality is gonna blow your way that direct hd sound enhancement it's not a gimmick it really livens the music up all right i would say the sound stage on these is lively and if you play with the eq settings that's an important feature put up a lot of bass if you like a lot of bass now personally i'm a bass head so y'all see my eq settings i tried all of the stock settings and they sounded great but my eq setting the way i had it that v with dirac enhancement on these sound incredible the volume is super loud now this is something to consider a lot of y'all be like buying earbuds i even even with the b no eqs now as much as i love these i read all of the comments a lot of people were saying oh these are not that loud that's cap all right if you think these aren't loud there's something wrong with your hearing or you're just expecting too much all right if you think these aren't loud you're expecting too much you're expecting over-the-air headphones volume level you're not going to find super duper loud earbuds that's that's not the drivers are too small not to mention if you got anc you don't need them to be extra extra loud like that you want them to be a nice quality sound and you want to have good noise cancellation so you don't have to rock these at max volume but at max volume these are loud pretty loud okay but i would say these are even louder the volume level on these this is like i would say these are one of the loudest all right sheer volume these are one of the loudest okay crystal clear hydrogen mids turn on direct audio deep rich bass i am feeling these all right i am totally feeling these these are a major major major go not only because of the look in the racecar status which is kind of making me biased because of that carbon fiber kind of making me biased but y'all know all right y'all know how i feel so let's write these all right let's rank them number one on my list is still the b o eqs now i did this off camera i did some thorough testing now sometimes my rankings be changing because these companies be pushing out updates you know and so you you got to constantly stay on top of the testing game i tested these out again the b o eqs with the comply phone tips isn't there's nothing else like it that i heard yet these are just number one number two on bucks now if you want the regular t52anc those are going to run you 330 bucks what's the difference between the two well the mclaren edition comes with the racecar status you got wireless charger on the case and it comes with the wireless charger all right so let's go through the specs real quick now the mclaren edition comes in one color papaya orange that's an official mclaren color with real carbon fiber these are bluetooth version 5.0 the codex is sbc aac and aptx now these are ipx4 sweat and water resistant you got 5.8 millimeter dynamic drivers these feature direct hd sound so that's digital audio enhancement which is going to improve your sound clarity now these feature braggy technology that's going to give you head gestures i'll show you how that works in a minute you got on red gray on gray makes it very simple locks into place just like that all right so i'm to pause the video i'll set everything up and then we'll walk through the os another side note i just came back from the gym working out with my homeboy doing a serious arm exercise and you could tell look at my i got that my arms got the jimmy shakes i i'm sticking my arm straight out bro that was a real it in drop the earbuds on now if you notice you see that light flashing it is charging up and let's try a phone at the same time there it is up let's take a look at the actual charging case now this is one thing i will say i actually like the original t5 mclaren edition charging case a little bit better because you don't have the strongest magnets but you got a nice locking mechanism so if you drop these they never gonna open up these no locking mechanism but you got that same real carbon fiber with the tire going around it usb type-c charging slot on the back or papaya orange let's check the strength of the magnets i said we'll start with minimum shakeage nothing intermediate shakeage okay not the strongest magnets in the game they'll only survive intermediate shakeage then they're going to pop out all right so next let's take a look at the clips connect app now this is available for android and ios now once you pair up your earbuds open up the app it'll automatically connect and it's going to be all your settings okay so if you hit the menu you got home about and support here's your eq you got bass flat treble vocal rock podcast and custom i'm going to play with that in a minute okay now here's your active noise cancellation so you got anc on okay now i just turned on noise cancellation and i got that whoosh that quick sound of quietness i like that you can also adjust how much anc you want okay we can turn it off you do have voice prompts it just said transparency off now i just turned on transparency okay now i can hear all of my voice crystal clear let's exit out of that let's go over the settings real quick you got the name of your earbuds you got your updates again eq settings transparency setting you got interactions now you got head gestures so if i nod three times that will automatically answer a phone call shake my head three times i could decline a phone call or skip and reverse tracks customize it the way you want you can change your action button you can change your press and hold buttons volume up volume down play and pause skip and reverse tracks alright so fully customizable buttons you got your product information product reset factory reset device information now here's one thing i wanted to mention direct sound all right this is not a gimmick when i first read it i was like this might be kind of gimmicky but it lets you test it out so when you hit play it's playing some music right now then when i turn on direct sound the music just gets way clearer definitely so far right now i like id sound with that little clip right there i already like it all right so for the bass eq let's see we'll put up um we'll start off with bass why not matter of fact we could do custom i like see with my customs i like a lot of highs minimum mids and a lot of bass so let's go ahead and save it the way i like it first that's a little load in between each one okay now this is how i usually set up my music a lot of highs minimum mids not minimum but it usually looks like a v alright this is how i like my music but i'm going to test a whole bunch of different eq settings anyway all right so that's pretty much it for the app all right so now let's talk about the look and the fit now just put these back in my ears as soon as you put them in you got a nice amount of noise isolation but when you turn on anc you can hear that whoosh of quietness okay i already like that too and the way they feel all right nice and snug very comfortable let's do the head shake test i'm gonna start off with minimum shakage okay no movement intermediate shaking no movement maximum shakeage no movement at all all right the same fit as the original t5s which i love okay now let me show you how they're gonna look minimalistic style earbuds that mclaren logo is everything all right especially if you race cars you already know what it is but a nice look now i love earbuds like this as opposed to the pencil style i'll take these all day all right so now let's do a sound test all right so i got a classic song queued up we got yk osiris worth it now i just heard this in the gym and it kind of brought me back some memories so with all the different size ear tips i got the ones that i like the best but these sound incredible okay the sound quality in these now the only thing that could let me down on these is active noise cancellation now it's hard to judge anc when there's no noise i'm just sitting here right now all earbuds kind of give you that whoosh feeling of quietness i'm gonna have to take these outside real quick and test anc but i don't even care the way they sound right now i'm already feeling these the sound the look let's do a little bit more testing now let's do the reconnection test how long does it take to reconnect to your phone after you take them out and put them in the charging case all right i'm gonna hit play in the music okay take out the right side and the left side close them up let's make sure it's disconnected okay here we go one one thousand two one thousand two one thousands all right the music is playing in my ears right now all right so two one thousands also known as two mississippis that's excellent now let's do the one earbud test can you play music from one earbud while the other one is charging up in the case which can basically double your battery life if you need to all right here we go sit play on the music okay it's playing i'm gonna take out the left ear bud drop it in the case okay the right side is still playing let's put the left ear bud back in okay it just reconnected let's put the right elbow in the case close it up the left side is still playing all right so this is a major go you can play music from either earbud while the other one is charging up in the case doubling your battery life now let's talk about the touch controls now one of the things that i like about these earbuds physical buttons okay not touch capacitive no swiping around physical buttons that are easy to press and have a nice clicky feel to them all right so i'm gonna put them in my ears now keep in mind when you go to the app you can customize these the way you want okay so we'll start off with the right earbud one tap for playing pause that'll also answer and your phone calls you see the music is playing now double tap skip to the next song okay triple tap to reverse okay and long press to activate your voice assistant what's the weather for today okay there it is now for the left ear bud one tap that will cycle through between anc and transparency mode and you got voice prompts so i'm going to press it once it actually said noise cancellation press it again instead noise cancellation off press it one more time now i said transparency mode now if i double press that'll be your volume control now you see the volume going up now if i triple press from the left earbud volume going down you see it pretty dope alright so all of the touch controls work now let me talk about the gestures you do have head gestures and i just try them and they do work but um you're better off using the touch controls now i guess if you're in the gym or you got something in your hands you can shake your head three times that'll skip to the next song but um i just don't really like doing that but they do work all right so no issues with the touch controls all right so now let's check the call quality all right i'm going to call amy up i doubt if she's going to answer the phone because she out there living that college life but let's give it a like i was talking a lot but the noise cancellation on these is pretty good all right i will say that call quality no issue she heard me fine i heard her fine even went after i just stopped yelling and start talking like a regular human being no issues with the call quality but i will make i gotta call one more person and i gotta test anc so i'm gonna call her from outside all right so i'm gonna go outside i'm gonna test anc i'm going to test transparency mode and i'm going to test call quality while i'm walking around with actual wind sounds all right so let's wrap up the testing now i did the range test i walked all the way to 50 feet hit my little 50-foot marker no drop connection at all bluetooth 5.0 no issues next i checked for latency i watched netflix amazon prime and a little bit of youtube no lag when i was watching the videos next i went to the store to get white shoes some food and i tested out active noise cancellation transparency mode and i made another phone call now as far as the call quality i was doing a walking talk all right so as i'm walking wind is hitting me in the face the person heard me fine i heard him find no issues at all all right so call quality pretty good transparency mode perfect no issues at all when i went in the store i talked to the bodega owner also known as poppy i took to poppy real quick with the headphones in my ears i the airbus headphones i'm talking about had them in my ears with transparency mode turned on no issues now let's talk about anc all right active noise cancellation y'all know i got three chairs okay trash tear okay tear and top tier okay now there's too many ear buds coming out right now you can't say this is number one this is number two that's number three number four either it's top tier trash tear or okay tear except for the sony's and the bows y'all know that's god tear all right now there's only two earbuds in godzilla category sony and bows i would place these comfortably and i mean comfortably into top tier noise cancelling earbuds right up there with the pi7s right up there with the eqs right up there with the gemini's okay top 10 noise cancellation i'm walking i did my little test in the house first with the fan right in my face i jumped in the car turned my engine on it definitely cuts out a lot of noise but if you all about maximum noise cancellation you need the sony's or you need the bose other than that if you just want top-tier noise cancellation earpod pros all right everything else that's out everything all the other high quality earbuds these are right on par all right these are top tier noise connection earbuds no issues at all and if you're in the house if you're in a quiet environment you're gonna find yourself yelling because the sound quality in these now let's let's wrap up this video real quick all right let's wrap this whole thing up number one audi is worth 380 bucks and the answer is yes without a doubt now i know a lot of people want to save money and get the regular ones you could do that too but if you about that race car life or you just want the wireless charge and the wireless charging pad spend the extra 50 bucks i just look at this this is worth the extra 50 bucks that carbon fiber i'm never getting rid of either one of these earbuds just because of the way they look now these are my number two best sounding earbuds without anc number one sennheiser cx these are close number two definitely now art is worth 380 bucks yes the fit is excellent i love the way they look but the sound quality the sound quality is gonna blow your way that direct hd sound enhancement it's not a gimmick it really livens the music up all right i would say the sound stage on these is lively and if you play with the eq settings that's an important feature put up a lot of bass if you like a lot of bass now personally i'm a bass head so y'all see my eq settings i tried all of the stock settings and they sounded great but my eq setting the way i had it that v with dirac enhancement on these sound incredible the volume is super loud now this is something to consider a lot of y'all be like buying earbuds i even even with the b no eqs now as much as i love these i read all of the comments a lot of people were saying oh these are not that loud that's cap all right if you think these aren't loud there's something wrong with your hearing or you're just expecting too much all right if you think these aren't loud you're expecting too much you're expecting over-the-air headphones volume level you're not going to find super duper loud earbuds that's that's not the drivers are too small not to mention if you got anc you don't need them to be extra extra loud like that you want them to be a nice quality sound and you want to have good noise cancellation so you don't have to rock these at max volume but at max volume these are loud pretty loud okay but i would say these are even louder the volume level on these this is like i would say these are one of the loudest all right sheer volume these are one of the loudest okay crystal clear hydrogen mids turn on direct audio deep rich bass i am feeling these all right i am totally feeling these these are a major major major go not only because of the look in the racecar status which is kind of making me biased because of that carbon fiber kind of making me biased but y'all know all right y'all know how i feel so let's write these all right let's rank them number one on my list is still the b o eqs now i did this off camera i did some thorough testing now sometimes my rankings be changing because these companies be pushing out updates you know and so you you got to constantly stay on top of the testing game i tested these out again the b o eqs with the comply phone tips isn't
