NVIDIA Recently Reached Out to Me for Free Courses at Deep Learning Institute
I recently received a message from NVIDIA, expressing their appreciation for my work and offering me five codes for free courses at the Deep Learning Institute, which is NVIDIA's deep learning education platform. Instead of taking all the courses for myself, I have decided to give them away to you, the viewer. It's very simple - all you need to do is watch the NVIDIA GTC keynote on April 12th at 8:30 a.m. Pacific Time.
To participate in this giveaway, you simply need to watch the keynote speech and drop a comment in this video with your favorite moment from the speech. You don't even need to register or provide your email address; NVIDIA will not spam you with any advertisements. I will select five comments at random and make an announcement on my community tab for you to reach out to me with your email address so I can give you instructions on how to redeem your code.
There are several compelling reasons to watch the content of the conference itself, aside from winning a free course. NVIDIA has a large catalog of talks by heavy hitters in the field of artificial intelligence and computing. For instance, we have Joshua Benjio giving a talk on causal reasoning, which is a very important topic for the advancement of artificial general intelligence. Who better to give a talk than the legendary Yahshua Benjio? We also have Yan La Kun from Facebook talking about self-supervised learning, his big research drive at Facebook. Additionally, we have Jeffrey Hinton giving a talk on part-hole hierarchies in neural networks.
It's worth noting that some of the talks may go above my head, as I'm not familiar with certain concepts such as transformer type systems. However, I will be watching at least some subset of these talks and would encourage you to do the same. There is a huge amount of content available, covering a wide range of topics including high performance computing, AI at scale, games, drug discovery, self-driving vehicles, and streaming.
Before I go, I'd like to leave with a brief promotional video that NVIDIA sent me. It shows off the world's largest graphics card, which is truly an impressive piece of technology. GTC 21 promises to be an exciting event where we can create what other people would think of as science fiction - it's a masterpiece on many levels.
GTC 21 Schedule
The keynote speech will take place on April 12th at 12 p.m. Mountain Standard Time, which is equivalent to Pacific Time. I'm not sure if the schedule has been adjusted for my location in Arizona, where we don't observe daylight savings time. However, you can do the math yourself and make sure you're watching the keynote speech at the right time.
In conclusion, I hope you'll join me in participating in this giveaway by watching the NVIDIA GTC keynote on April 12th and dropping a comment with your favorite moment from the speech. Good luck!

education platform so rather than being a greedy person and taking all five courses myself i'm going to give these away to you the viewer it's very simple all you have to do is watch the nvidia gtc keynote this upcoming monday april 12th at 8 30 a.m pacific time of course the keynote has been give is being given by jensen wang the ceo founder ceo of nvidia and all you have to do is watch and itself so they have a pretty big catalog of really heavy hitters giving talks on a whole host of interesting topics so for instance we have a talk by joshua benjio on causal reasoning obviously a very important topic for the advancement of artificial general intelligence and who better to give a talk than the legendary yahshua benjio right so that'll be monday as well uh 12 p.m it says mountain time i wonder if that's adjusted for where i am i'm in arizona we're currently in pacific time because we don't do daylight savings time but uh 12 p.m mountain standard time uh probably 12 p.m pacific time you can do the math on that uh also we'll have talks by yan la kun uh obviously from facebook talking about self-supervised learning that's his big research drive there at facebook and he'll be giving a talk about that we have talks by jeffrey hinton another og in the field talking about part hole hierarchies in a neural net now honestly this goes a little bit above my head it's not something i'm familiar with in the slightest as far as i can understand from reading the abstract here it has to do with advancements in transformer type systems so that sounds kind of interesting although honestly it's a bit above my head i have to do some research there of course we're going to have friends watch la who's at google talking about uh advancements in keras and tensorflow obviously two really big frameworks for deep learning although i'm personally professional personally partial to pi torch but cancer tensorflow and keras are obviously awesome frameworks as well and you know it's not just those heavy hitters as if that isn't enough there are talks by uh many many people from all sorts of fields i mean high performance computing ai at scale games drug discovery
