**A Fun Day with a Shopping Cart**

We got it ratchet strapped to the back of the CRV. I really don't think it's gonna work but I guess we'll find out. Jamie has faith that it's gonna work, and I'm trying to hold onto some hope as well. We're planning to water the tires down, which makes me a bit skeptical about how well this shopping cart is going to perform, especially with me in it. With my weight in the front, I'm hoping that will help stabilize things.

**The First Attempt**

I tried to slip on the chain, and oh man, there's a nut on the ground where... my keyways are coming out. Yep, Dan managed to pick the bearing out, which is unfortunate news for me. The whole bearing came apart, which is a total bummer. At least we can learn from our mistakes. I'm glad Brent told us that the bearings were problematic and that we should have seen it coming.

**The Shopping Cart's Potential**

Despite the setbacks, I think this shopping cart has huge potential. It's been a fun project to work on, and I've learned a lot along the way. With some tweaks and modifications, I'm confident that it can become a reliable vehicle for hauling stuff around. Whether it'll end up being used for meats, furniture, or something else entirely remains to be seen.

**Fixing the Shopping Cart**

I'm still working on fixing this thing, but I made good progress today. I was able to get some parts swapped out and started tinkering with the drivetrain. There's still a lot of work to be done, but I'm excited about where we're headed. The most pressing issue is getting new brakes for this thing, which should arrive soon. I've got a hydraulic caliper that Brent lent me, along with some other parts, and I'm hoping they'll make all the difference.

**The Future of the Shopping Cart**

I'm planning to use the shopping cart more often now that it's in decent shape. I've already started thinking about how I can modify it further to suit my needs. One idea is to attach a hitch to my wagon, which would allow me to tow this trailer around with even more ease. Who knows? Maybe we'll see some future adventures with this shopping cart.

**Technical Details**

According to eBay, the motor in this shopping cart was rated at 16 horsepower and 11 foot-pounds of torque. I'm happy to say that it's performed quite well, considering its humble origins. The lack of drivetrain loss is impressive, especially given how much we had to work with from the start. With some further development, I think this could become a real contender on the track.

**A Few Final Notes**

Overall, I've had an amazing time working on this project, and I'm grateful for all the help that came our way along the way. I'll be sure to post more updates once everything is complete, but for now, it's time to call it a day. I'm exhausted, but also exhilarated from the experience.

horsepower before I put a turbo kit on it and see if it actually increases the horsepower at all but it being a full sized card I know it might not be super accurate trying to measure a go-kart like this but Brett has told me he's put a go pet on the dyno before in his dyno read like point 5 horsepower from it and he's also put dirt bikes on there and stuff like that before so I figured this would be a fun video and with that being said let's get down to the denim zip tie through that branding for that yeah I forgot he didn't have brakes yeah and that's like going downhill it was really good now so it just goes yeah those are some of the better wheelies that's ever done to they've scraped the back yeah I can feel it I can feel it ride it out but I'm pretty tall but it's very uncomfortable it's not horrible I feel like a there's no there's no kill switch so if you get stuck in gear there's this I kill it with this right now it's the choke hey leave it at birth doesn't because I just have attacked so I got it all the way in the back of the shop and I'm gonna get it welded up real quick while he's tuning that car but I did not tell you guys about Visia I did add these the other day so these will add some strength to this back piece right there so because when it's doing wheelies and everything it's putting a lot of load on the whole back of the car right here and it's kind of flexing that whole back piece so these will be a really good support to have and it also makes like a nice triangle right there but uh not sure how I like the look of them but they will definitely help with the strength of the frame but I'm gonna get them all welded up so they do not break off again in the Civic Tunes need some dinosaurs trying to figure out that fourth year cart but probably not yeah that's shut right away that bottom bolt on the shifter locked up I can't get it too tight so I don't know if you could hear me but I couldn't get it in to the next guy I thought maybe the clutch stretched out again on ya wasn't the clutch that bottom bolt locks up in it the shifter like jams up once I break that loose I'll be good all right so we're gonna attempt to then I would be able to bring the shopping cart to like meats and stuff like that and I think that'd be pretty cool so I may hang on to that trailer for a bit longer but uh overall it was a good day hopefully you guys enjoyed that unfortunately the driving around footage got cut short because this bearing right here decided to explode and if you can see it but it's like jackshaft super loose oh yeah that's actually his whole sprockets coming loose so this whole assembly kind of came loose right there because all the ball bearings out of that bearing right there kind of exploded but I already do have some more on the way so it actually takes pretty soon and I just want to start cleaning everything up because there's still some ghetto things on this I just was pretty excited to get it over to the dyno and get all that done but now that it's where I want it to be I still need to clean up the wiring so my need to get the battery mounted and I need to either mount this see in place or find a new seat because I'm still not sure what seat I want to run this one's still temporary but I may end up using it for now I'm not sure yet but I still need to do that stuff and then for sure I really
