**A Day on the Track with the BMW M4**

As I sat down with my co-pilot Donnie behind the wheel of the BMW M4, I couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement and anticipation. We were about to put this beast of a car through its paces on the track, and I was eager to see what it had in store for us.

"Okay, so we're going to start off with a straight line," Donnie said, his voice calm and collected. "Let's get started." With that, he put the car into gear and hit the gas, feeling the power surge beneath him as we accelerated down the track. The speedometer climbed rapidly - 100, 105, 110 - before Donnie started to push us even harder.

"Take it up a notch," I urged, my voice barely above a whisper. "See what she's got." Donnie obliged, and with another burst of acceleration, we shot forward, the speedometer climbing higher still. We were hitting speeds of over 130 mph before we reached the first turn, and Donnie was taking it in stride, his hands smoothly guiding us through the corners.

But as we approached the second straight line, I could see Donnie struggling to maintain traction control. "What's going on?" he asked, his voice tinged with concern. "I think I might have taken out the traction control," he admitted, sheepishly. "It was killing power." I nodded sympathetically - it was a trade-off he had made in order to maximize our speed.

The M4 proved to be a formidable opponent on the track, its 6,000cc engine producing an astonishing amount of horsepower. We were flying down the straight lines, taking perfect lines through the corners and consistently pushing the car to its limits. But as we approached the final turn, I could see Donnie's rivals closing in - including, notably, a Camaro ZL1.

The battle was on, with both cars jostling for position as we approached the finish line. The M4's faster acceleration and handling proved to be just enough to keep us ahead of the competition, but it wasn't without its challenges. driven the M4 yet I get uh I get one for a week in two weeks it's stick that's what I'm talking yeah the stick one so this one's paddles but it's got this making the uh blipping the throttle and down oh to the auto blp for you right um so this is paddles and it's got cloth which I love it's got Ceramics uh pilot super sport tires right yep okay let's see what we got it's all yours big torque blew the tires right off first gear and second gear wow oh okay here we go now we're talking let's see how she turns in lot of mechanical grip through here stays flat and I see 255 tires know what they're going to get M and I got to do it it's for sound we just won't tell anybody they're going to call S no they well don't worry about it 255 tires in the front 275s in the back I believe uh carrying Bott of the con go gas go little more little more a little more you got it perfect beautiful there we go beautiful got about 6 M hour faster coming out of that corner than I did in the bu GT go oh the turn in is nice I like that it's got really good power it's l low torque power is very very nice it's got some sound too I don't I don't know if I'm thrilled with this sound yet oh there a rock on the track that's good to know Nismo 370Z in front of us trust me if you're going to be on a racetrack with this or that you want this there we go with the point by and on the power oh at the top and it's nice too 6,000 there 7,20 mph you got it keep keep going you got it it's got grip it does have the grip but then they make us go in this little 10t wide Lane here break in a straight line that's perfect perfect one steering angle one steering and put through here down at the bottom you got it go go go power all right let's see what we got here there's 100 how about 105 there's 110 15 there's 20 25 130 35 going to break it the two from 135 ah it's got good power fastest speed I've seen on the front straight so far today it feels like it dies a little around six grand what do you think Donnie well let's uh fix that let's fix that what can we fix I just gave you the mid setting for traction control oh oh was I full that was probably traction control you might have the oh I was getting into the traction control there okay the gearbox is so fast it's hard to make a good argument for the stick even though my heart says that I will probably love the stick oh yeah traction control Ste it's it kills power but it doesn't kill your momentum that's see you really wanted a traction control is to kill the power without killing that momentum because getting that momentum back especially on the track is really tough but if you can if you can manage it without killing the momentum you've really done something right and that car this car does that absolutely it is fast no question no question oh yeah W you you whatever you did made a difference because it just felt hotter at the top of the Power Band yep yep Donnie a man give me full power and we're stuck behind some people what I want to give what I want to give you now is a point we need to get by the we need a point we do no the steering is really nice this wheel is great the seats are holding me in good this you know it's an M4 you could daily this thing you you would want to daily it honestly let's eat this Camaro up let's let's go buy ZL1 here we go passing 100 he's got more power by quite a lot but he's not going to let us by oh he's not going to let us by Donnie they can't stand it what they can't stand it the Camaro ZL1 and now I will give him he has a Fant suspension that's a fast car and we're on it how am I doing Donnie give me a little more gas a little more gas okay more gas right down to the bottom down to the Apex we're going down we're going down here we go there you go we're taking a better line through here than he is eat him up eat him up oh he can't stand he's watching his mirrors he almost Loops right he's watch his Mir he's watching his mirrors yeah yeah we're we're getting in his head a little bit I he will give a point by I bet you know what I would like out of this car a little more noise maybe an aftermarket that would probably fix it like a little more noise would would be uh would be what I'm really looking for here cuz everything else the car has really got it sorted doesn't it I like oh it's going to hurt his ego to point us by but he's got to do it
