this back here for now so it's just those two allens and it just comes all the way up yeah that's easy to be more but so there's three islands here there's supposed to be more but i foresaw myself taking it out more than once this weekend so i only put two in that's fair i know you you want to figure out your car but i need to know the set all i know it's the 14 with the 2j so what is what are we looking at here i'll i'll show you under the hood that's where all the fun is because everybody's seen a fourth gen before but here we got a uh induction performance stage 2 block their whole motor package and it's got a 8385 turbo power glide it made like 1180 so i made 1180 through a glide yeah through a glide nine inch uh all the badass f body suspension you can get on here pro efi stepped up to help me with the ecu atf transmission stepped up to help with the trans and all together that stuff is going to come together and hopefully have a really stout reliable running combo so i i remember this car because you were posted on your instagram story before before you start your channel yeah and you bought it it was a v6 you threw an ls in it the goal was to race it at fl 2k last year didn't happen i just missed it by one weekend yeah then you decided i'm going to rip that out and put it to it why did you put a 2j in it why'd you go 2j i've just been around so many turbo ls stuff i was just kind of like i was just so bored of it we've all seen turbo ls's they're very cool they make great power but i wanted to go off the wall a little bit so here we are with a badass 2j set up what's the goal for this weekend i know i know like putting on their pits a to b button around the fifth was probably the first time you've actually ever driven the car so just a to b pass any et or mile per hour i'd love to see 850s all weekend if we can consistently get a few 850s off i'm sure alpha's gonna want to display yeah okay tuner one sevens he says they can do it he says put more the 2j setup has ever made really the ls setup went 960. well this is the first pass on the car first fast on the 2j setup and it hooks pretty well too i don't even know the 60 one i mean to do eight they know they're two days that's for sure you do alpha you're killing bread and butter um 8.91 for cooper all right so first pass today yup humid as hell now it rained a lot it would yeah yeah so your test pass first pass ever on the car 8 46 8 40. then you backed it up in qualifying last night with an eight nine ninety yeah it hit like a boost cut off the line but i drove through it i probably shouldn't have i did i mean even at 890 and qualifying i'm pretty happy with because they're setting the class up into two two groups so i want to be in the slower group anyways not just because some of those fast guys as you know are low seven seconds already and i'm like first time out i don't think i got that in me yeah so i might just hand in the 890. i want to just get as many pads as possible of course because you get some seat time man competitively raised exactly exactly all right we just talked off camera a little bit and we're bouncing around names about the name of the car and you had a couple the one i liked the most was trailer park super trailer park supra is pretty great that's pretty awesome because it's a fortnight camaro it's cute is it pewter or silver it's pewter okay it's the worst color the bumper is just chopped or the hacksaw it's like chipping and it's that 800 chassis that had 300 000 miles when i got it i think trailer park super is my modify it so now when you add to the cage when but does it close when you close it or is it it stays i close it and then i i tighten it up there so it's not it doesn't actually latch no it doesn't this first time you ever brought the car out the car was on the dyno midnight the night of roll racing the event was going on and this car was still on the dyno right we hadn't even tested the trans brake or the two or the bump box nothing and the first time you ever drove it was a route that was putting around the pits with bronte that was the first time i ever drove this car and i was like oh it feels pretty good let's let's run an 840. what is the plan with the car moving forward now what are you doing so we're gonna try to dial in the suspension it's leaving really softly like a one three one four sixty foots consistently so we're gonna try to get that to like the one teams area put a parachute on it for sure yeah cause it's going 167 out the back good step good needs some front brakes uh you know the normal stuff but really just try to dial it in you know get it into the sevens have a consistent seven second car that i can come out here and you know turn a dial and it'll go sevens that's our goal for this thing and really just drive around me and bronte and compete as much as we can you know bring it to streetcar takeovers and stuff that's that's the goal for this car it
