36 Dollar Toyota Supra Review! - 800HP of Hospitality

The Supra: A Vehicle of Exceptional Performance and Handling

As we take a closer look at the Supra, it becomes clear that this vehicle is truly exceptional. With its impressive 800 horsepower engine, courtesy of a BorgWarner S3-66 turbocharger, this car can move with incredible speed and agility. The engine itself has been modified to produce an astonishing amount of power, thanks to a variety of upgrades including s2 cams, air P head studs, CP 8-5 compression pistons, Carillo H-beam rods, CL main rod thrust bearings, and more.

One of the most impressive aspects of this Supra is its ability to deliver consistent performance despite its incredible power output. According to ISA, who kindly lent his car for our review, he built the motor specifically with daily driving in mind, rather than focusing solely on producing extreme horsepower. This approach has paid off, as the car can be driven without issue on a daily basis, making it an excellent choice for those who want a vehicle that can handle both high-speed driving and everyday use.

The Supra's performance is not limited to its engine, however. The car's chassis and suspension have been carefully tuned to provide exceptional handling and stability, particularly when cornering or braking. As ISA notes, the car's super chassis can "scoot" out of turns with incredible precision, making it a joy to drive on the road. Additionally, the car's big wing on the rear spoiler adds an extra layer of downforce, further enhancing its overall performance.

Despite its impressive capabilities, the Supra is also surprisingly refined and civilized. As ISA notes, "the exhaust on this thing is very civilized" with no drone or excessive noise, making it a comfortable choice for daily driving. The car's interior is also well-appointed, with a sleek center console and driver-focused design that makes you feel completely at ease behind the wheel.

One of the things that sets the Supra apart from other vehicles is its cultural significance in the United States. As ISA explains, "the super has always been a mythical beast to us," with many enthusiasts viewing it as an unattainable goal due to its high price tag and limited availability. However, this perception is likely to change with cars like ISA's V161 model, which offers a more accessible entry point into the world of Supra ownership.

The Supra also has a rich history, with various models dating back to the 1960s. The most notable of these was the Toyota Corolla AE86, also known as the "Hachi-Roku," which is considered by many to be one of the greatest driving machines of all time. This model's legendary status can be attributed in part to its incredible handling and agility, making it a favorite among drift enthusiasts.

In conclusion, the Supra is a vehicle that truly stands out from the crowd. Its exceptional performance, refined and civilized nature, and rich cultural significance make it an excellent choice for those who want a driving machine that can handle both high-speed driving and everyday use. Whether you're a seasoned enthusiast or just starting to explore the world of Supra ownership, this car is definitely worth considering.

The Importance of Modifying Your Car

ISA's approach to modifying his Supra is a great example of how enthusiasts can take control of their vehicle's performance without sacrificing its practicality. By focusing on daily driving rather than extreme horsepower, ISA was able to create a car that is both fast and enjoyable to drive every day.

One of the key benefits of this approach is that it allows owners to enjoy their cars without feeling like they're "babying" them. As ISA notes, "do not baby the car," as this can actually detract from the overall driving experience. By driving their cars with a sense of purpose and enthusiasm, enthusiasts can get the most out of their vehicles while minimizing wear and tear.

Modifying your car is also a great way to personalize it to your specific needs and preferences. ISA's modifications, for example, include s2 cams, air P head studs, CP 8-5 compression pistons, Carillo H-beam rods, CL main rod thrust bearings, and more. By combining these upgrades with a focus on daily driving, he was able to create a car that is both powerful and practical.

However, modifying your car can also be expensive and time-consuming. As ISA notes, "the V 160 is just not an option" for many enthusiasts due to its high price tag. However, this does not mean that you need to compromise on performance or quality. With careful planning and execution, it's possible to create a customized car that meets your specific needs without breaking the bank.

The Role of the V 161

The Toyota Corolla AE86, also known as the "Hachi-Roku," is widely regarded as one of the greatest driving machines of all time. Its legendary status can be attributed in part to its incredible handling and agility, making it a favorite among drift enthusiasts.

However, the AE86 is not just a mythical beast - it's also a very real car that has captured the hearts of many enthusiasts around the world. The V 161 model, which ISA owns, is one of these cars, and it offers a unique blend of performance and handling that makes it an excellent choice for those who want to experience the best of the AE86.

One of the key benefits of owning a V 161 car is its exceptional shift feel and precision. According to ISA, "the RPS twin disk in this car feels like the best super clutch I've ever driven," with a smooth and seamless transition between gears that makes shifting a joy. Additionally, the car's long gearing, which is one of its most distinctive features, allows it to cruise at high speeds on the highway while still providing plenty of low-end torque for spirited driving.

Overall, the V 161 model is an excellent choice for anyone who wants to experience the best of the AE86 without breaking the bank. Its exceptional performance, refined and civilized nature, and rich cultural significance make it a must-consider for enthusiasts looking to own a piece of driving history.

A Day in the Life of ISA

ISA's approach to modifying his Supra is a great example of how enthusiasts can take control of their vehicle's performance without sacrificing its practicality. By focusing on daily driving rather than extreme horsepower, ISA was able to create a car that is both fast and enjoyable to drive every day.

One of the things that sets ISA apart from other enthusiasts is his willingness to push his car hard and take risks. As he notes, "I paid good money to have this car be fast," and he's not afraid to show it off on the track or on a spirited driving adventure. However, this approach also requires a sense of humility and caution, as ISA notes, "do not baby the car."

Despite his enthusiasm for high-speed driving, ISA is also careful about taking care of his car. As he explains, "I drive it hard, but I also take care of it." This approach has paid off, as the car shows no signs of wear and tear despite its incredible performance.

ISA's relationship with his car is also a key part of his driving experience. He notes that "driving is not just about speed - it's about feeling connected to the road and to your car." This sense of connection is something that many enthusiasts can relate to, as driving is often seen as a way to express oneself and tap into one's inner spirit.

In conclusion, ISA's approach to modifying his Supra is a great example of how enthusiasts can take control of their vehicle's performance without sacrificing its practicality. By focusing on daily driving rather than extreme horsepower, he was able to create a car that is both fast and enjoyable to drive every day.

"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enall right ISA Supra I guess that kind of works right ISA supra it's a Supra sorry okay so crazy fast 800 horsepower Supra let's do that what is of you guys David here once again for another car review and today we're in something extremely special you guys don't know the story of the Supra the link in the card is up below it's a crazy one but today we're gonna focus more on the performance of the Supra ISA is from guitar and he lent me this Supra for a while this 2j has every goody a 2j can have aside from a stock crank and we even got big giant extreme drags on the back it has a BorgWarner s3 66 with an 80 millimeter hot side so you have a big giant hot side on the back that's under the turbo blanket the car on ethanol or 85 makes 800 horsepower no slouch on pump gas it makes only 600 horsepower Oh cry me a river it's got s2 cams with air P head studs has CP 8 to 5 compression Pistons Carillo H beam rods a CL main rod thrust bearings and this motor is actually built for like 1,100 horsepower but ISA did something I find truly respectable he said David I built this motor to live not to make crazy I horsepower on a dyno queen who cares about the dyno Queen number I want the car to drive this is eases only car in the United States ISA is from Qatar and he goes to school University of Florida so he daily drives this every single day no traction at all Wow the people live or what man second gear this thing is awesome third gear just barely and apparently it is okay but the exhaust on this has no drone at all whatsoever it's very civilized overall when you get that cam load it is just intoxicating the BorgWarner in this thing is pretty laggy overall compared to say 830 71 r or 1/3 GT 35 something along those lines but that's just because it's a bigger turbo it's not because the turbo is bad it just takes longer for it to spool up to make that big horsepower number it's definitely the 8th wonder of the world when you drive a 2j like this and you know a lot of people always say oh god no every 2j has to be a thousand horsepower and it really doesn't in my opinion eight hundred or just above eight hundred is the sweet spot for the 2jz it is just nuts at least in the Supra like compared to my 240 that has the 2j in it 500 is more than enough like I don't want any more in that car that was my first real poll in this you saw the bite that is non fake reaction that's my first reaction oh man this thing scoots dude I was doing a rolling burnout in 4th gear but the super chassis can just do it and when it does spin it spins straight it doesn't feel like you're in danger it just let off the gas car will snap right back in place little vlogs with the car the seat belt likes to come loose but everything else inside the car it's fine it's a Supra and the Supra layout is so great like the center console all towards the driver I've said the stuff a million times it just is such a great driver position you feel one with the car and the Toyota super and I think that's why a lot of people never let go of this car because it's just it just makes you feel good you got the big wing on the bag yet the cool taillights the booty of the Supra will never get old it's got that big nice round booty with hips it can't argue with it it's remarkable just a sexy looking car it always has been ah I hate when they drive supras because then I won't one oh my god while dude tips are good everything's good nothing's wrong it's not breaking up nothing spinning my goodness I just love to smell the corn in the morning don't you I've always wondered why us Americans have glamorized it so much more over other countries you know Australia New Zealand you know they love their RVs but they also love their to J's but they love their RVs and every because they had them all the time so skylines aren't crazy to them and the super has always been a mythical beast to us a lot of people go to Jays never break don't never they're impossible to break bro which near stock yeah it's pretty true I just had one that was built on a Monday and my 240 he so though has gone through five five to jay-z's overall five oops but that's also I said I built this car to live not to break records and I respect that this also as the V 161 the family lineage of the V 160 they're also expensive to get so when you see people trying to do swaps into other cars the V 160 is just not an option really it's usually six grand for one transmission but when you do get to drive a V 160 car or a 61 car it is unbelievably good I mean the shift feels so crisp so precise and they can handle the crapload of horsepower the RPS twin disk in this car feels like the best super clutch I've ever driven there's no doubt about it I barely have to get on the gas to get the car to move you can just lift your foot up a car starts moving when I drove the TRC Supra two years ago I had to practice in the parking lot before doing that video review I never have to do that in a car it's also got 2,000 CC injectors so gas mileage is well non-existent at all there is none so when you're an ethanol it's even worse although this car does have a flex fuel sensor so if I'm in an emergency I can get pump gas but 93 in the car everything's a-okay what I love about this Supra is that it's used you know he beats the snot out of this thing he goes David I paid good money to have this car be fast I damn well drive it fast I love it kept telling me he goes David do not baby the car do not baby the car you're going to enjoy it or I will be mad at you one thing I always forget about the v1 61 is that it has the longest gearing which also explains why the supers are so fast up top on the highway but it goes on and on and on in that and sometimes you up shift too soon and you can hear the transmission having a hard time you're like oh I'm just trying to cruise like on the highway but it's such a long deer dude I have a spoiled brat in this thing I am so blessed I can't even express 800 is literally like just enough to scare you enough to where it's fun but at the same time it's controllable and it's not too laggy the lag in this you know exactly when it's gonna hit when you have it a thousand plus worth of our super you're like oh oh my god life is good man life is good with that guys thank you all so much for watching this quick little video review I hope every single one of you enjoyed it I know I did I want to make ISA so much but let me drive it Supra and I'll see you guys next time you take it easy have a fantastic day goodbye\n"
