Status Board review - Panic's delightful way to visualize all your daily stuff

Status Board by Panic: A Delightful Way to Visualize Your Life

When we first launch Status Board, we are presented with a delightful pamphlet and sound track that guides us through how all of it works. We are given permission to access our stuff, which allows us to get started right away. As we navigate through the process, we are shown cute little remote control animations that make the experience even more engaging.

The default Status Board comes pre-loaded with a calendar widget, clock widget, and events display. It also includes some pre-populated RSS feeds that show us the amount of posts on certain sites by hour, day, or other custom settings. The good news is that all of this is fully customizable. We can simply tap the little gear icon in the top right corner to open up a world of wonderful widgets.

We start by grabbing one of these widgets and moving it around to get a feel for how it works. We then resize it if possible, which allows us to create multiple places for it on our screen. The key benefit here is that all of these widgets are resizable, so we can tailor the layout to suit our needs.

One of the standout features of Status Board is its ability to handle multiple widgets at once. This means we can have a mix of different things on our home screen, each one serving a specific purpose. For example, we might want to display our Twitter feed, but only show tweets from certain accounts. We can customize this by tapping on the Twitter widget and selecting which features we want to include.

We're also pleased to see that Status Board has some additional features up its sleeve. We can install custom widgets like graphs or data trackers, which give us even more insights into our favorite apps or websites. These custom widgets are truly limitless, allowing us to do just about anything we want with our Status Board.

Another great feature of Status Board is its support for both landscape and portrait orientations. This means that regardless of how we choose to use our device, our Status Board will look and feel amazing. And once we've finally got it exactly the way we want it, we can rest easy knowing that there are even more options available.

For those who might be interested in taking their Status Board experience to the next level, Panic has a range of additional features and options available for purchase. These include AirPlay support, which allows us to display our Status Board on an HDTV or other large screen device. We can also share our Status Board with others or send feedback directly from within the app.

In conclusion, Status Board is truly a delightful way to visualize everything that you want to keep track of. With its intuitive interface and endless customization options, it's easy to see why this app has become so popular among those looking for a fun and engaging way to stay organized.
