seem have its depth really but it's not you see it's 2.5 litre five-cylinder turbo puts out 400 horsepower and 480 Newton meters of torque it sends power to all four wheels by a Quattro all-wheel drive it's a 7 speed automatic gearbox with launch control but it's the lightest here 1.7 tonnes and that could help even things up I tell you what else evens things up you see that Aldi costs from 52 thousand pounds which means it's quite a bit cheap in this Porsche which is around 69 thousand pounds our alpha is 70 grand will you feel that much difference in performance for the difference in so then what exactly happened well the Porsche just beat the Alfa by the narrowest of margins though they both did the standing quarter mile in 12 seconds dead the ID was almost a second behind them this kicks down really well but so far all the alphas off now it's superior power is telling let's take the launch out of the equation that boy is off that out is doing all right you know it's kind of just got dropped at first and then it's sort of just staying stay is quo the Alpha is a clear winner here though that's enough of that I think we know what happened there I must say the kickdown in that Alf Romero was really good how was it in the Audi yeah I think you're right was pretty consistent once we got the gaps or there because I think this gearbox kicked down faster than yours it was just level pegging but that alpha was the clear winner there no doubt about it so it's watching the Porsche watch the Alfa they stood another rolling race now I'm gonna do the same thing but this time cause when sports mode and locked in third gear I'm gonna count it in you ready guys three two one go pickups grey on this time to get the alphas off and that out is doing so well there's nothing between us really I've got the initial jump is he coming back and they keep going come on Porsche he's coming back against me he's coming back going to find a little bit of a second wind but now it's static he's not going to come past and I'm heating ahead again that's enough guys heart breaks heart breaks that is the end of the runway ha ha brakes brakes right once again alpha you won that you got more power simple as I already really impressed me in that race so though you're going to come past at one point but your second wind kind of run out of steam dammit definitely for the money as well it's a lot cheaper than these two anyway final challenge let's see how well they can stop shall we now it comes to the break test when we hit the line full emergency stop we're doing it from 70 miles an hour which car will stop in the shortest distance let's see what happens miss admit does have the upgraded carbon ceramics but never mind that that is a big difference heaviest but it stopped in the shortest distance when I stomped on the brake it was just like bang straight on it amazing brakes it actually it's up my neck a bit drag race word and the brake test really impressive mighty
