The Lexus Facebook Live Show: An Epic Day of Figure Eights and Burnouts

We're gonna do some figure 8, some burnouts. We have three challenges that these guys are gonna be involved in, a combination of grip, a combination of drift, and then beat in style. Both France and Amelia will get a ride with us, and then we're gonna switch seats. Ryan and I will give them instructions at Venice time to start the competition right here on the Lexus Facebook live show.

Behind us, here are the two Lexus LC 500s. I'm driving a sport model, Scott Pruett is driving the performance model, which has a little bit of carbon fiber bits on it and an upgraded interior. These things are luxury performance; they're phenomenal cars. I'm a 471 horsepower, 10-speed automatic, and these things have Tiptronic transmissions that you can put in Sport Plus mode, and just burn the heck out of the tires.

They're actually a lot of fun to drive, and then even more fun to drift. He coached his competitor now he's gonna get that I might get beat; some cars behind the wheel feel like they're at my fingertips all the time when I want to do something; it does it, whether I'm accelerating hard using those big brakes to stop or just getting to the corner hitting that apex letting a slide to the outside. It's just poetry in motion.

I have an RC myself and I love that car, but I'm actually thinking about trading my RC for this, it's just right off the line so much power; it's classy yet sporty at the same time, and I just love it. I lost, but like this is within two tenths of a second, DLC 500 loving it, I'm excited to be a passenger in the next one which is donuts, which is Ryan's Forte.

So we have three challenges ahead of us, and we're gonna need all our skills and expertise to come out on top. But first, let's take a moment to appreciate the beauty of these cars. They're not just fast; they're also beautiful, with sleek designs and advanced technology.
