Nokia Lumia 928 Unboxing!

**First Look and Unboxing at the Lumia 928 for Verizon Wireless**

The new Lumia 928 is finally here, and we're excited to give you our first look and unboxing experience with this Windows Phone. The phone boasts an impressive set of features that are sure to make it a contender in the market.

One of the standout features of the Lumia 928 is its 4.5-inch screen, which now sports an AMOLED display. Although similar in size to the previous generation's 920 model, which had an IPS screen, this new upgrade promises to bring about a noticeable difference in terms of image quality and overall user experience.

The phone also boasts a 2000 milliampere hour battery, sealed inside the device, which should provide long-lasting power. Additionally, the Lumia 928 features a Snapdragon S4 Plus processor with a 1.5-gigahertz dual-core Gigabit RAM, offering a smooth and efficient performance. The internal storage comes in at 32 gigs, providing ample space for users to store their favorite apps, music, and other content.

The camera on the back of the Lumia 928 is undoubtedly one of its strongest features. With an 8.7-megapixel Carl Zeiss and PureView branded lens, this phone promises to deliver exceptional image quality. The Xenon flash provides better low-light performance compared to the LED flash found on the 920 model. Furthermore, the phone's front-facing camera has a 1.3-megapixel sensor, allowing users to shoot 720p video.

**Camera Comparison with the 920**

We've already had a chance to review the Lumia 920, and we're excited to compare its camera capabilities with those of the 928. The low-light performance on both phones is impressive, but the addition of the Xenon flash in the 928 promises to deliver even better results. While the screen technology may differ between the two phones, the overall design of the camera setup remains similar.

To put this to the test, we've brought in the black Lumia 920 for a side-by-side comparison with the white 928. The main differences are noticeable – the 928 is thinner and features a more premium polycarbonate plastic material compared to the matte-finish black 920. Both phones feel solid in the hand, but there's an unmistakable difference in terms of build quality.

The speaker on the Lumia 928 has also seen an upgrade, with improved sound quality compared to its predecessor. The phone's design has been tweaked as well – the camera is now located at the back, and a microphone has been added. Additionally, the SIM card slot has been moved to the top, along with the headphone jack.

The user interface remains largely unchanged, with the Windows Phone operating system still running on the device. The required by Microsoft buttons are present, including a dedicated home button and Bing search button for quick searching capabilities. On the left-hand side of the phone, the volume buttons and power/lock button have also been relocated – although the latter has moved to be below the volume control.

**Verizon Pricing and Availability**

The Lumia 928 will be available on Verizon's network starting May 16th, with a price tag of around $100. As always, prices may vary depending on the carrier, so it's essential to check with your local provider for more information.

In conclusion, we're excited to give you our first look and unboxing experience with the Lumia 928 for Verizon Wireless. With its impressive camera capabilities, sleek design, and improved performance, this phone is sure to be a hit among Windows Phone fans. Stay tuned for our full test review, where we'll put the 928 through its paces and share our thoughts on whether it's worth upgrading from the 920.

micro USB cable so is here hoping for some awesome headphones or any other accessories you are going to be sorely disappointed it makes packing this guy up though very easy all right so here is the Lumia 928 and I will peel off the screen protector oh that's where the SIM card lives sneaky uh so that's where the SIM card is that wasn't the screen protector appears the screen is unprotected but the back however uh is protected so I'll peel that off telling you guys hate when there are stickers on there uh so I'll try and power this guy on and we can run through all of the specs it's gonna boot up say hello welcome to Windows phone uh all right so this is very similar spec wise to the Lumia 920 although noticeably uh thinner and I think a little bit lighter as well so the dimensions it is 5.24 inches by 2.71 inches by a now thinner 0.44 inches and weighs 5.7 ounces uh it's the same resolution as an I20 it's a 4.5 inch screen with a 1280 by 768 screen although now it is AMOLED whereas on the 920 it was an IPS screen so I think it should look um just a little bit better uh 2000 milliamp hour battery is sealed in there so don't hope it getting at that sucker uh same processor as well it's a Snapdragon S4 plus 1.5 gigahertz dual core Giga Ram uh 32 gigs of internal storage live on this phone now the big story though with the Lumia phones is on the back Carl Zeiss and pure view branded lens uh it's an 8.7 megapixel camera we now have a Xenon flash as opposed to to the LED flash that we had on the 920 it's got a 1.3 megapixel sensor living up there on the front that I can shoot 720p record we have full support for Verizon's LTE as you can see right up there uh it's got Bluetooth of course 3.0 and NFC uh Gorilla Glass 2 and also support for wireless charging using the QI standard here us a little bit more about this camera in case you forgot it's got the same F 2.0 aperture that we've got on the 920 in the same 26 millimeter focal length that we have on the 920 big difference here though between the two uh The Flash and the screen Technologies on both phones but overall very similar this one feels really nice in the hand I keep forgetting how much I like Windows phone to actually go back and try another Windows phone so we'll use this guy tested on Verizon's Network we'll see there's anything different to show versus what we saw on the 920 and of course we're doing a full camera comparison to see how this works we're really impressed with the 920s low light capabilities should hopefully be even more improved edition of a Xeon flash so there are some other differences here between the 920 and the 928 so let me bring in let's bring in the black 920 here and you can see certainly difference there in the thickness as well as the material so the black one is sort of a matte feel to it but the other colored devices I had that same sort of polycarbonate plastic and both felt really solid in the hands so first we've got improved speaker here as well on the 920 versus the r928 rather versus 920 speaker Grille used to live on the bottom of the 920 it is now on the back of the 928 obviously a little bit of a redesign here where the camera is located I've got a microphone now on the back of the 928 as well look at the top of the phones I can see the SIM card slot I was in the same spot but it's a little bit different now than just that little button you got to push in you can actually go and looks like with your nail and actually pull it out uh headphone jack has been moved to the side uh charging port has also been moved to the top we've got some noise canceling mics the rest of the buttons still remain pretty similar as opposed to Chrome accents they are now plastic and nothing on the left hand side so I'll walk through the device just real quickly here so you've got the required by Microsoft Windows phone buttons this is running Windows phone 8. uh will be available on May 16th for about 100 bucks by the time you watch this video be sure to check out the carrier because prices always vary so you've got your back button there also you're sort of multitasking with just tombstones applications you can launch to anything else you were in you've got your home button and you've got your Bing search button which will do your searching for you I'll go ahead and allow and there you go on the right hand side as I talked about earlier we've got volume up and down there there's your power and lock button I had a hard time getting used to that located below the volume but certainly you do the more you use the phone and I'm really happy to see now we've got a dedicated camera button which Microsoft mandates on all their phones the top as I just mentioned you've got the micro USB port 3.5 millimeter headset Jack noise canceling mic and on the bottom we got nothing but some FCC business uh so this has been a first look and unboxing at the Lumia 928 for Verizon Wireless anything you guys want to see in particular uh be sure to let us know anything notable uh we will share with you and of course we will test it put it through its Paces I'll let you know what we think please give the video a thumbs up
