Purging My Space: Tips and Tricks for a Clutter-Free Life

For me, purging my space has been incredibly therapeutic. It's like I've cleared up mental clutter by getting rid of physical items that were weighing me down. My brain is more organized now that I have fewer distractions and can focus on the things that bring me joy. I feel like I've regained control over my life and can finally start to use the planner supplies I've accumulated over time.

When it comes to purging, I recommend starting with one area at a time. This can help prevent feeling overwhelmed and make the task more manageable. For example, if you have multiple cluttered areas in your house, try tackling just one room or closet at a time. Sort items into three piles: trash, keep, and donate. Be honest with yourself about each item - when was the last time you used it? Does it bring you joy or serve a purpose? If not, consider letting it go.

For me, purging has been a game-changer. I've realized how much weight it had lifted off my shoulders once I got rid of stuff that no longer served me. Now, I can focus on the things that bring me excitement and joy. This newfound sense of freedom has allowed me to tackle projects like planning videos again.

Watching YouTube or listening to music while I work on purging can make the task more enjoyable. My go-to channels for inspiration are Ashley Dawn, Alexandria Garza, Nicole Guerrero, and ninju does crafts. Hearing someone talk can be so soothing and comforting - it's like having a friend in the room with me.

To take your purging game to the next level, try creating a system that works for you. This might mean setting up a donation bin or using storage containers to keep items organized. For me, having a clear plan in place has been essential to staying on track and avoiding feelings of overwhelm.

now that she's back to school so I'm really excited about it it's just so beautiful there's a huge window over there but yeah gorgeous um so but what's also in this room in that right there is my craft closet now I've actually done an organization video for that room um for that room for that closet but it's been a while and because I've been redoing this room and moving things around and trying to clean out my bedroom I redid my office cuz way back when all of my stuff used to be in my office and I didn't like the look of that it was just too much going on and I like really crisp clean non clutter kind of Decor so I need to I need to go through this closet so that's going to be part of my purging system now be prepared there's a lot of craft goodies in here okay I want you to be prepared but I'll tell you this whatever I find that I feel like I'm not going to give attention to I will be putting them in giveaways so yeah let's go ahead and get going because this has been weighing on my mind so much you have no idea prepare yourself because it's a mess you can't even walk in it there are all of my sticker albums I love these so much um yeah I just have all kinds of Decor this is where I put Wonder Woman because this room was a Wonder Woman theme and now obviously it's like black and gold so I've got board games so this is like a combination closet and unfortunately this house really has like a huge o open floor plan and I don't have like a lot of storage space so it's basically this closet and the closet in my entryway yeah so but what I do want to do because my closet in my bedroom is so humongous that I am going to um install like dressers in there so that I can have more storage space I mean I might as well it's a huge closet might as well take advantage of it but what happens when I do that I don't know why I don't know if you guys do this but anytime I like bring in more furniture all I keep thinking about is how expensive like my next move is going to be I don't know why I think that way but that's how I think okay so I'm going to set the camera down and we're going to start to clean this out right he now that I've made a path clear enough to go ahead and organize these drawers cuz I really don't want to move these things in here I'm going to go ahead and work on my drawer system and start cleaning them out and making room for Stuff he he oh my gosh he so for e okay guys so I have finished and this was the best that I could do with you know kind of what I have but it is so much bigger of an improvement because my floor is essentially cleaned there's nothing on the floor I did have to get some bug spray and spray in there because I was seeing some silverfish and I'm not a fan of them at all so I will have to like essentially move like this piece like this to get to those drawers but again you know I'm just limited in my space so I don't mind that at all and I can also now get to these drawers over here which I've cleaned out so there is my pile of trash I mean it's just it just keeps going it just keeps going it's kind of hard to see cuz there's a shadow over there but um yeah so I am really excited I really haven't organized over here just yet I'm telling you tackling this closet took a lot out of me so you know this may just have to be like another day but um I did keep this I did put one thing in here I think I put this in here so yeah but otherwise I think this was pretty successful cuz again I you know I can walk in here I can get to my drawers okay guys so I am all done with purging at least part one so we all have different problem areas in our home maybe it's every area in your house for me it's almost every area of my house but I pretty much as you can see I tackled my closet which which was a big deal I tackled my dresser drawers with like clothes oh my God that was ridiculous I tackled my craft closet which was really the whole reason why I started this whole purging system in the first place I haul and do so much for you know my planner stuff and I love everything I have and I have watched so many craft room tours of women who just have an entire room like with all their crafting supplies and I would love to have that and unfortunately I can't I don't have a room for that right now so I have to watch how much stuff I keep in my house um and on that note I am
