How to make a foam gift tag for kids presents - EP - simplekidscrafts - simplekidscrafts

**Welcome to Simple Kid's Crafts**

In this episode of Simple Kid's Crafts, we are going to make a simple yet adorable foamy gift tag that can be attached to a child's gift or used at a baby shower or a baby gift. To get started, we will need the following materials: foamy, foamy sticker ribbon, glitter, H-puncher, scissors, and glue.

**Folding and Cutting the Foamy**

We will begin by folding a small piece of foamy in half. This will help us create a rectangular shape that is easy to work with. Once we have folded the foamy in half, we can cut out the shape of a tag using scissors or a tag puncher. If you want to get creative, you can draw the shape of your desired tag on the piece of foamy and then cut it out. Alternatively, you can use a tag puncher to punch out the shape of the tag that you desire.

**Adding the Punch Hole**

After we have finished cutting out the shape of our tag, we will need to add a hole at the top so that we can attach the ribbon later on. To do this, we will use the H-puncher to create a small hole in the center of the tag. If you don't already have pre-cut shapes for your sticker, you can cut out the shape yourself using scissors or a tag puncher.

**Adding a Small Seam**

Next, we will add a small seam at the bottom of our tag using glue. To do this, we will apply a small amount of glue to the bottom of the tag and then spread it evenly across the surface. I will be adding a little bit of grass as well as a lion to my seam, so I will make sure to spread the glue all the way along the bottom of the tag.

**Adding Glitter**

To give our seam a grass-like texture, we will add some glitter. The type of glitter I am using is usually used for nail applications and scrapbooking projects, but it can also be found at the 99 cent store. Once I have applied the glitter to the bottom of my tag, I will get rid of any excess glue.

**Making a Bow**

Now that our seam is complete, we will take a ribbon and pass it through the top hole in the center of our tag. This will create a loop on either side of the tag that we can use as a bow. To make the bow, we simply need to tie the ends of the ribbon together.

**Adding the Sticker**

Finally, we will add our pre-made sticker from the Elmer brand using glue. You can also make your own sticker at home if you have foamy on hand or buy any kind of sticker from the 99 cent store.

That's it for today's project! With these simple steps, you too can create a beautiful and unique foamy gift tag that is perfect for children's gifts or baby showers. Don't forget to subscribe to Simple Kid's Crafts for more fun and easy DIY projects.
