Welcome back to another episode of my channel. Today is pretty cool because if you were a fan of Westwood Studios, you remember Westwood Studios well I sure do.

Westwood Studios was the company behind some of the best RTS games ever in my opinion, the Command & Conquer series. So what are they doing these ex-employees from Westwood? What guys, I'll tell you what they're doing. They're making a new game called Earth Breakers.

Now here's what's so cool about this whole idea. If you go back and remember Command & Conquer, there was a whole thought about wouldn't it be really cool to have our first-person Command & Conquer? Well, he did do that. They did create Command & Conquer: Renegade. Command & Conquer: Renegade was a pretty cool groundbreaking idea because now you took everybody that loved that top-down RTS view and let us go and explore it by running around and shooting your enemies and getting into tanks and doing whatever which was pretty amazing for its time.

That also did was it gave us an opportunity to experience the Command & Conquer universe in a completely different viewpoint which was amazing and I loved it. Renegade was actually a really good first-person shooter if it's still going and the servers are still doing, I kind of recommend if you can check it out just because it was really cool.

Now Westwood is well I shouldn't say Westwood is back but the ex-employees from Westwood are now producing a new game called Earth Breakers with the same idea but taking it to a further level. You see them Renegade, you didn't really get to build your buildings whatever they're already kind of done then you just went around and did what you had to do to shoot the bad guys whatever it became a first-person shooter right.

Well this new one you get to build your buildings all in first person so you got RTS pure RTS elements so you're building your buildings you're building your war factories and your tank depots and your tanks are coming out as they're being built just like it would have been in Command & Conquer. Now what was really cool and why this is so much like it and why you can tell this team is back is because you still have to mind the crystals and stuff like you would have done in Command & Conquer: Red Alert and so on to produce your products so your tanks your war machine whatever you needed to build it.

And I thought this is great like this Earthbreaker idea and Westwood behind it, it made me feel good inside because I was thinking cheap if this ever happened why wouldn't Link-Man come back by Origins or whatever or by the same guy but oh wait yeah I guess there is one coming out. So what I'm trying to get at is this is really cool I love the idea of this RTS because I'm a big RTS guy and a mix a first-person shooter and everything to go along with it.
