The First Impressions of Samsung's Latest Monitor Lineup
As I walked through the exhibit hall, my eyes were immediately drawn to Samsung's latest monitor lineup, which aims to compete with Apple's Studio display. The first thing that caught my attention was the Viewfinity S9, a 27-inch 5K configuration monitor that features a wide color gamut covering 99% of the DCI P3 Spectrum and HDR 600 support, which improves shadows and highlights. The four USB-C Thunderbolt 4 ports on the back are also a notable feature. What really stood out to me, however, was the slim fit magnetic camera mount at the top, which adds a sleek touch to an already impressive display.
As I took a closer look at the Viewfinity S9, I couldn't help but think that it's going to do a good job competing against Apple's Studio display. The design of the monitor is not only aesthetically pleasing but also seems to be inspired by the quality and design of the Studio display. While I'm still unsure about how well it will hold its own in terms of performance, my initial impressions are that it's going to be a great addition to Samsung's lineup.
Another impressive monitor from Samsung is the Odyssey Neo G9, which is 57 inches and features a super ultra-wide resolution of 7680x2160 with a 240Hz response rate. This massive monitor is not only a beast for gaming but also offers an incredibly immersive viewing experience that seems almost like it's wrapping around you.
The Odyssey OLED G9, on the other hand, is a 49-inch curved monitor that features an OLED panel with a 0.1 millisecond response time and a 240Hz response rate. What really caught my attention about this display was its incredible color accuracy, which made Fortnite look particularly vibrant and colorful in person. The blacks were deep and rich, giving the game an almost three-dimensional feel.
Samsung's foray into OLED technology seems to be paying off, as evidenced by their latest lineup of monitors. Not only are these displays offering impressive visuals but also sleek designs that seem to fit right in with Samsung's other products.
In addition to monitors, Samsung is also showcasing some exciting new TVs at CES. The company's giant screens were on full display, and it seemed like they're getting serious about OLED technology. Some of the TVs being showcased are incredibly thin and are offering features like a matte display and a rotating stand that can be purchased separately.
Another interesting aspect of Samsung's CES lineup is their integration with Philips Hue smart lighting systems. Some of Samsung's monitors will now come equipped with a Philips Hue Hub, which allows them to color match and change based on the content being displayed. This feature was not existing in any of the other products I saw at the show.
Finally, if you've ever wanted to customize your fridge, Samsung has got you covered. The company is showcasing some bespoke fridges that feature a customizable front panel with some interesting design options or the ability to customize them yourself with giant photos of friends and family. Who wouldn't want their face on the fridge every morning?
Overall, Samsung's CES lineup is shaping up to be an exciting one, with new monitors, TVs, and even appliances that are sure to impress. From the Viewfinity S9 to the Odyssey Neo G9, it seems like Samsung is serious about making a splash in the tech world.
S sponsor of the channel, Fully, has been creating some amazing furniture for workplaces that's both beautiful and well-built. Their sit-stand desks, like the Jarvis desk, are particularly impressive, with a bamboo top that adds a touch of natural elegance to any room. The Nolan desk, on the other hand, is a unique four-legged design that I've never seen before. Fully also offers incredibly comfortable desk chairs from popular brands like Herman Miller and offers some truly stylish couches for lounging around.
In fact, my personal favorite piece of furniture from Fully is their Colby bamboo shelving unit, which has been featured prominently in the background of many of my videos over the past year or so. I'm thrilled to announce that we're partnering with Fully on an upcoming new studio project, and I encourage you all to subscribe to the channel so you don't miss out on this exciting announcement.

accompanying light strip as well as other Nano Leaf products like tiles and bulbs and match those colors to what's being displayed on your TV and then we start getting into some of the more interesting items like this pen from a company called Nua I believe that's how you pronounce the name it's a pen that converts your notes into digital text which really doesn't sound that crazy and has been something that's been around for a while but what is intriguing is that this works on any paper or really anywhere you happen to be writing and then sends all of that information over to your devices which is kind of nice and you can check it out all on the app usually these products require some sort of special pen and paper but this just has all of the tech built into the pen then there's the no watch which is exactly what you're thinking it's a watch but it's also not Auto watch it does track all of your fitness and health metrics like most wearables and this one is primarily centered around restoring your balance and well-being so what's crazy is that it can apparently detect when you might be getting stressed or anxious an hour before you might actually feel stressed or anxious by measuring your cognitive ability and using sweat gland analysis to detect all of this which sounds intriguing obviously I couldn't test it and yeah I mean it looks like a watch but then on the watch face you can customize with all these little random colors and you know change it depending on your outfit and your mood or whatever it might be and I would just prefer maybe just the basic time and date it doesn't have to be smart but I get it it's a no watch then there's the U scan from Withings which is the first hands-free connected home urine lab and thank goodness that it's hands-free because well you stick this thing in your toilet and every time you go to the bathroom you'll get a reading right to your smartphone measuring data like water balance acid-base balance and even ovulation tracking after CES unveiled we headed on over to Samsung's First Look which is where we get a look at all of the Intriguing items that Samsung will be releasing over the course of 2023 stand is what caught my attention because if you have a other Samsung compatible TV you don't have to go out and buy the specific Samsung Cerro TV that rotated but you could put your existing one on the stand and rotate it vertically if you want to Samsung is also starting to include a Philips Hue Hub into some of these monitors so that it can color match and change based off of what's going on
