So The Very First Step Took My Candlesticks Outside and I Simply Just Started to Put Down Some Newspaper and Then I Began the Spray Painting Process Probably Best if You Use Some Gloves Here But I Didn't Really Use Gloves This Time Around and It Does Take a Couple of Coats to Cover Up the Glass Candlestick Holder with White Spray Paint but Overall It Took About Half a Day Because the Spray Paint Did Drive Rather Quickly Also Just Going to Throw This Out There But You Don't Need to Flip It Upside Down and Paint and Spray Paint the Inside Because as You Can See Here It Is White but It's Just a Reflection from What's on the Outside Because This is Glass So You Don't Need to Spend Any Time Spray Painting in Here or On the Inside Where You Would Initially Put the Candle Because You're Going to Cover it Up with the Plate Once Your Candlestick Holders Are Dry and You Have the Coat That You Want the Finish That You Want on Your Candlestick Holders Then You're Simply Going to Take Your E6000 Glue and I Just Trimmed It Around the Top Part of the Candlestick Holder and Then I Realized Because Some Plates I Couldn't See Through to the Candlestick Holder Because I Wanted to Make Sure I Centered it I Actually Flipped the Plate Around and Then I Put the Candlestick Holder on Top So I Measured Where the Center Was I Just Kind of Eyeballed It It's No Big Deal and Then I Let That Sit on the Plate for a Couple of Minutes Holding It Down and Then I Eventually Flipped It Over Very Carefully and Then I Pressed On Top of the Star Plate for About Like 30 Seconds or So But Really What You'll Need to Do Is Then Leave it Overnight and That E6000 Will Combine with the Plate and the Glass Candlestick Holder Perfectly

I Simply Repeated the Process for All Three Plates and That Is It You Guys It Cost What Three Six It's a Six Dollar Project and You Get the Cutest Set of Cake Plates Cake Stands You Can Call It Whatever You Want You Can Put Your You Know Fourth of July Food On Here If You Want to Like Serve Like a Little Cube Buffet Style This Would Be Really Cute for That or You Could Use as Decoration with Your Buffet Style If You're Doing the Party of Any Sort You Can Use it to Store Jewelry Whatever It Is That You Want To Do and That is My DIY for Today Stay Tuned be Sure to Subscribe to See My Next

"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enhey guys so today I am going to be doing a Dollar Tree 4th of July DIY I am going to be putting out a lot of projects here in the next couple of days just to give you guys time to gather the materials and do these DIYs yourself if you're planning on putting up decoration for 4th of July but first I'm feeling a little half naked here usually hi like I'm always covered in my videos so I feel kind of weird but I absolutely love doing it DIYs from the Dollar Tree and I am so excited to be sharing with you the ones that I've put together for 4th of July I am in love with them they have turned out so incredibly cute and I'm just so excited so in today's video is gonna be a really short one let me go ahead and show you what it looks like but they are just like cake stands but you could put cupcakes and treats you could even just use them as decor I also have a white one as well so let's go ahead and jump right in and talk about the materials you're going to need and how I put this together that you are going to need to complete the same project you're going to need candlestick holders which I've purchased from the Dollar Tree and I got a set of three so those 3 dollars and then you're going to need a set of the red white and blue star plates also from the Dollar Tree I've also used a six thousand which is a great glue it's great to have on hand you can get this at Walmart for like a couple of bucks and then you're going to need the spray paint color of your choice I've gone with a white in this scenario it costs I think 98 cents Walmart brand at Walmart also what I love about buying spray paint is that I can use them on multiple multiple projects and if you've watched my videos and you've seen my DIYs then you've seen me reuse the same spray paints like all throughout my house so that's another thing to keep in mind definitely pick spray paint colors that you can use for other projects as well like colors like red for you know Christmastime and Valentine's Day things that you can like repurpose for other holidays and events and things like that so the very first step took my candlesticks outside and I simply just started to put down some newspaper and then I began to spray painting process probably best if you use some gloves here but I didn't really use gloves this time around and it does take a couple of coats to cover up the glass candlestick holder with white spray paint but overall it took about half a day because the spray paint did Drive rather quickly and also just going to throw this out there but you don't need to flip it upside down and paint and spray paint the inside because as you can see here it is white but it's just a reflection from what's on the outside because this is glass so you don't need to spend any time spray painting in here or on the inside where you would initially put the candle because you're going to cover it up with the plate once your candlestick holders are dry and you have the coat that you want the finish that you want on your candlestick holders then you're simply going to take your e6000 glue and I just trim it around the top part of the candlestick holder and then I realized because some plates I couldn't see through to the candlestick holder because I wanted to make sure I centered it I actually flip the plate around and then I put the candlestick holder on top so I measured where the center was I just kind of eyeballed it it's no big deal and then I let that sit on the plate for a couple of minutes holding it down and then I eventually flipped it over very carefully and then I pressed on top of the star plate and for about like 30 seconds or so but really what you'll need to do is then leave it overnight and that e6000 will combine with the plate and the glass candlestick holder perfectly and I simply repeated the process for all three plates and that is it you guys it cost what three six it's a six dollar project and you get the cutest set of cake plates cake stands you can call it whatever you want you can put your you know fourth of July food on here if you want to like serve like a little cube buffet style this would be really cute for that or you could use as decoration with your buffet style if you're doing the party of any sort you can use it to store jewelry whatever it is that you want to do and that is my DIY for today stay
