**My YouTube Journey: From Random Hobby to Full-Time Dream Job**

As I sit here reflecting on my journey, it's hard not to feel a sense of amazement at how far I've come. From a random hobby that started back in 2008 to a full-time dream job, YouTube has been an incredible ride. For those who may not know, I've always been passionate about technology and sharing my knowledge with others.

I remember the early days when YouTube was still a relatively new platform. There weren't as many people on it as there are now, but that didn't stop me from experimenting and trying out new things. I started by showing my schoolmates how to jailbreak their iPod Touches, and then thought, "Why not share this with the world?" So, I uploaded a video or two to YouTube and saw what happened.

The response was overwhelming, and it quickly became clear that there were people out there who appreciated my content. That's when I knew I had found something special. As I continued to create videos on various topics related to technology, including iPhone and iOS stuff, the channel started to gain traction. I also experimented with other formats, such as a gaming channel where my gamertag was X Smuggle.

One of the highlights of my YouTube journey has been interacting with my audience through comments and ratings. It's amazing to see how much support I've received from people all over the world, and it's clear that they appreciate the hard work I put into creating these videos. I also love seeing the ratings and knowing that I'm making a positive impact on someone's day.

**My Passion for Sports**

But YouTube isn't the only passion of mine. I'm also extremely passionate about sports, particularly baseball. Growing up, I played baseball my entire life, and even dabbled in football and basketball. There's something about the thrill of competition that really gets me pumped up. Watching the NBA playoffs is always a highlight for me, and I try to stay up-to-date with the latest news and updates from around the league.

**My Dream Job: Employing People**

Now that I've established myself on YouTube, my dream job would be to have a company where I can employ many people who share my passion and interests. I love the idea of being able to hire people who are just as passionate about technology, sports, or whatever it is that I'm interested in, and being able to support them in their careers.

I know it may sound weird, but there's something really rewarding about thinking about being able to pay people a living wage and knowing that my success has enabled them to thrive. It's not just about making money; it's about creating opportunities for others.

**Meeting Fans in Real Life**

Unfortunately, I haven't met many fans in real life yet. While I have interacted with some people at Apple Stores who recognize me as a creator of YouTube videos, it hasn't been the same as meeting someone who genuinely admires my work and is excited to talk about it. That would be amazing!

**Other Channels and Projects**

Over the years, I've created several other channels on various topics, including iOS-related channels like "App Reviews 101" and "Speaker Tech". These were fun experiments that allowed me to explore different areas of interest and connect with people who shared my passions.

Some of these channels may not have been as consistent or successful, but they helped me develop my skills and build my confidence as a creator. And who knows? Maybe one day I'll revisit some of those old projects and bring them back to life.

**Why I Started YouTube**

So, why did I start YouTube in the first place? Honestly, it was just a random hobby that started out of curiosity and excitement about technology. I didn't want to make money or become famous; I just wanted to share my knowledge with others and see what happened.

Looking back, it's amazing how much passion and energy I've poured into this platform over the years. From experimenting with different formats to connecting with an audience that has grown exponentially, YouTube has been a wild ride. And who knows? Maybe one day I'll hit 300,000 subscribers and be able to make my dream job a reality!

substantially so I had to I had to move with the times what's up guys my name is Brandon and today I'll be showing you 55 must have jailbreak tweaks what's up guys my name is brand and I'm back again with another iOS 10 jailbreak update video today I'm going to be showing you nine awesome applications you will actually use in 2017 wow what a crazy crazy journey I want to thank you guys so much for 100,000 subscribers this is a huge Milestone and I want to thank everybody that subscribed whether you subscribed back in 2008 2009 2012 2015 last month yesterday or even today watching this video whenever you subscribed I appreciate you and I really want to thank you so much for subscribing so I hope you guys enjoyed that Montage it's really cool to look back and see my progression over the years and see how everything has improved from my voice to the you know the stuff I wear in the videos to the lighting to just the quality overall of the video it's just so fun to go back and watch that and see the progression and that should serve as inspiration for anybody starting YouTube or you know looking to grow on YouTube as well just shows that if you can keep putting out content you're going to improve over time and you know eventually people are going to watch you just have to be somewhat consistent and not give up after just a couple years so I also wanted to talk about the future of my channel what to expect going forward and what are my future goals so first of all 100,000 subscribers is a goal I did have I did have a goal to get 100,000 by the end of 2017 and that was a very simple goal I knew I was going to hit it and honestly I knew I was going to hit 100,000 and when you saw in that montage video where I was wor the blue shirt there I knew I was going to hit 100,000 from that moment because uh that's actually when I set the goal but I knew I was going to hit it because as you can see in that video I had a whole new perspective I had a whole new look at YouTube I had a whole different look than I've ever had before and the you know almost decade I had of experience with YouTube I had a whole different vision and I just knew that I was going to be better than I had been before and I knew I was going to hit that 100,000 subscriber goal so it's really cool to see it come to fruition and you know just prove to myself that I did do it and so let's talk about the future of the channel and what are my future goals and what can you expect uh as far as content on the channel going forward so I do have a goal for the YouTube channel right now in terms of subscribers so that goal is I want to hit 300,000 subscribers by January 2019 so I'm fairly confident I'm going to hit that but I did set it a little bit higher just to push myself a little bit more so what can you expect on the channel to get to that 300,000 subscriber Mark well first of all I'm going to be doing a lot more Technology reviews you guys saw I did the uh Samsung Galaxy S8 videos I did like the Bluetooth speaker videos and things like that and I really want to work on that because that really gives me more uh you know creativity in the videos you guys can see the cool shots I get you know the flow of the video with the background music it's just a lot more professional and that's really really where I want to take the content on this channel to just a more professional level but of course I'm not going to be leaving the jailbreak update videos and things like that in the past I'm still going to do stuff on jailbreaking but of course that will eventually die down as far as you know it's not going to be talked about for a while so I have to fill the gaps with content you know other than that but don't worry I'm still going to continue to do those uh it's just only going to be when the time is right now I may do some crazy videos like the drop test and things like that I don't know yet I have to come up with a unique idea that hasn't been done yet on YouTube but we'll see about that and I will of course let you guys know or may just be a surprise on the channel in the future but yeah other than that I don't really have anything else in mind I'm just going to kind of flow with everything uh you know just go with the flow and the future and see where that takes me all right so now let's do some Q&A I have my iPhone down here and I'm going to read off some questions I got on Twitter that you guys wanted me to answer in this video so the first question comes from Ethan and he asks how many Apple products do you have and try to pronounce my name so I have 19 Apple products yes I counted and no I'm not embarrassed to say I have 19 Apple products I actually collect iPhones and things like that I have the iMac the iPad uh the MacBook all that good stuff so I have 19 Apple products in total and I plan to continue adding to that collection and how to pronounce his name Ethan malano is how I'm going to pronounce that I hope that's right Roberto asks what kind of equipment would you recommend for a person starting YouTube with a budget of $500 so the very first thing I would buy Roberto is a microphone people so underestimate the impact of good audio and video so I would definitely buy a microphone before I buy anything else and I'm going to leave some links down below for you or anybody else that's interested in starting a Channel with a $500 budget I'm going to leave some links down there for some good microphones for for a good price I would definitely start there then I would get some lights I have some soft boxes right here for lighting and then the very last thing I would get is the camera because if you have an iPhone you have a good camera you don't need to spend a bunch of money on a good camera if you have an iPhone but I will also leave a link for some good cameras down in the description below the next question comes from Warren and this may be my favorite question he asks how would you define success so I would define success as basically a combination of two things so I think the first thing is being able to wake up every day doing what you love and getting paid for it and you know living well from that and also in combination with not having to worry about family or friends or anything like that as far as you know making money and working too hard I want to make sure you know me personally my personal success is knowing that uh my parents won't have to ever work hard again or you know some of my friends will never have to work super hard again and worry about you know not making rent or something like that that's how I would define success and it may seem like it has a lot to do with money but it really doesn't I think the biggest thing is um you know I guess money does play a factor but it's not the money itself that is uh the success in my opinion it's the feeling you get inside uh that's the real success I hope that made sense Augusto asks have you ever been in Italy or other countries if yes did you like it I'm From Italy so I'm curious about your opinions so Augusto I have been to other countries but I have not been to Italy I would love to visit Italy though and I may be doing that in the next couple of years I do plan to visit Australia later this year and then Jamaica next year so that should be interesting and I'm sure that's going to give me the travel bug going to want to go to Italy uh the year after or something like that so I may very well be going to Italy in the next few years so geek asks as a fellow Steelers fan how do you think this season will shape up I'm really looking forward to this year so we have our receivers at full health now we don't have any suspensions to worry about or anything like that you know it's a little unfortunate with larius green it's actually really unfortunate with the larius green and how that happened but I'm really excited for this year I just hope Ben can be as good as he was last year so Nathan asks dogs or cats so I like both I personally have a right now but and I love my cat so I like cats right now but I've also owned a dog and I just like them equally I guess if I had to say right now though cat just because I own a cat right now Denise asks a great question they say did you think that you would ever become so big and are you happy with what you are or do you want more no I did not expect to be so big especially in the early days I mean if you think back in 2008 when I first started 10,000 subscribers was like unreachable that was like only the people that went super viral got 10,000 subscribers that was unheard of that was like an astronomical number back then of course it's completely different now but back when I was first starting I definitely did not expect to get 100K because that was literally impossible back then but you know as the years went on I could see it I I still didn't think I'd be this big honestly I didn't know I would be this big until I had that whole perspective change where I was wearing that blue shirt in the Montage at the beginning where I knew that was the point in time where I knew I would be big not necessarily big like huge like famous and things like that but I just knew I would be bigger than I was before because I was determined and I knew I was going to put in the work now am I happy with with where I'm at now no definitely not I mean I'm happy I guess you could say I'm happy but I just want so much more that's the thing you know I told you guys a while back that my in goal for YouTube is to have over 3 million subscribers so seems crazy right now I know it seems crazy to me as well but I always want more even when I hit 3 million I feel like I'm still going to want more I think it's just human nature to want more with pretty much everything maybe not everything and everybody but me personally I usually want more of pretty much everything so Liz or Liss asks what's something you're passionate about not relating to YouTube and such so I'm extremely passionate about sports I've played baseball my entire life I played some football I played basketball I pretty much played every sport soccer every sport you can imagine so Sports is definitely something I'm passionate about watching the NBA playoffs right now I always watch sports the Super Bowl football baseball you name it Carlos says describe your dream job so since I'm so focused on YouTube right now I would have to say that doing YouTube full-time would be my dream job so if I can get to that million plus subscriber Mark then that dream job can become a reality but until then it's going to be my dream job now my dream job overall in life would be to have a company where I employ a lot of people I'm really big I'm really passionate about and I just love the whole process and the whole concept of hiring people I don't know why I just love the concept that is like I'm going to be able to pay people and I'm going to be the reason that they're able to survive you know on a monthly basis it may sound weird but that's just something I really really love here's another great question from Evan he asks what has been your favorite part of doing YouTube videos and the experience and watching your popularity and the jailbreaking Community grow so my favorite part of doing YouTube videos is you guys so I love the support you give in the comment section I love seeing the ratings and and you know I know they're just vanity numbers but it's really so much more than that to me I just love to see so many people appreciating the hard work I put into these videos and being able to interact with you guys is just so awesome and that's probably the reason and in general overall that I just love doing YouTube so Josh asks pronounce my last name and do you ever meet fans in real life so I'm going to say Josh ESS EMB is how I'm going to say it I'm I'm sure that's probably wrong but that's just my first time even reading it and guessing so um and he also asked do you ever meet fans in real life so I have not met a fan in real life I've met people who know who I am in the Apple Store I wouldn't really describe that as fans but uh I have not met anybody in real life i' would be you know thrilled to meet somebody in real life that watches my videos I think that'd be pretty cool but no I have not yet Specter asks how many channels have you had that you posted on so I've had a ton of channels over the years uh some related to iPhone stuff and and iOS stuff some not related but uh the channels I posted on iOS related are this one I had a channel way back in the day called app reviews 101 I had a channel called speaker Tech and I have a gaming channel where my gamertag was X smuggle and I believe those are the only ones that I actually was consistent on and continued to post on outside of this main Channel and a patron here from the patreon page thank you for pledging over there on patreon asks why did I start YouTube so it really just started randomly it was just a hobby you know I didn't want to make money or anything like that you couldn't even make money from YouTube back then you got to remember this is back in 2008 this is only 2 years after YouTube's launch so you know there was pretty much not near as many people on YouTube back then as there are nowadays so I just wanted to show people the possibilities you know I was always at school showing people how to do things on my iPod Touch I would jailbreak it and you know show people how to do that so I figured you know I'm going to upload it on this new platform called YouTube and see what happen see if other people can benefit from it like these people in my school did so that's really just how it started it was very random and was very unprofessional but it got the job done and that's essentially just what kickstarted my career here on YouTube but anyways guys there you have it I hope you enjoyed that montage and then of course the Q&A and also maybe some of that inspiration will inspire you to start a YouTube channel and grow your YouTube channel so thank you guys so much again for watching this video I hope to see you again making a very similar video when I hit 300,000 thanks guyshey guys BB Zod touch help here hey guys BB Zod touch help here and today I'll be showing you a theme called Vivid today I'll be showing you how to get Halo on your iPod Touch or iPhone hey guys how's it going it's Brandon here BB touch to be showing you how to jailbreak your 3.1.2 device today I'll be showing you how to jailbreak the iOS 4 firmware jailbreak the I love seeing the ratings and and you know I know they're just vanity numbers but it's really so much more than that to me I just love to see so many people appreciating the hard work I put into these videos and being able to interact with you guys is just so awesome and that's probably the reason and in general overall that I just love doing YouTube so Josh asks pronounce my last name and do you ever meet fans in real life so I'm going to say Josh ESS EMB is how I'm going to say it I'm I'm sure that's probably wrong but that's just my first time even reading it and guessing so um and he also asked do you ever meet fans in real life so I have not met a fan in real life I've met people who know who I am in the Apple Store I wouldn't really describe that as fans but uh I have not met anybody in real life i' would be you know thrilled to meet somebody in real life that watches my videos I think that'd be pretty cool but no I have not yet Specter asks how many channels have you had that you posted on so I've had a ton of channels over the years uh some related to iPhone stuff and and iOS stuff some not related but uh the channels I posted on iOS related are this one I had a channel way back in the day called app reviews 101 I had a channel called speaker Tech and I have a gaming channel where my gamertag was X smuggle and I believe those are the only ones that I actually was consistent on and continued to post on outside of this main Channel and a patron here from the patreon page thank you for pledging over there on patreon asks why did I start YouTube so it really just started randomly it was just a hobby you know I didn't want to make money or anything like that you couldn't even make money from YouTube back then you got to remember this is back in 2008 this is only 2 years after YouTube's launch so you know there was pretty much not near as many people on YouTube back then as there are nowadays so I just wanted to show people the possibilities you know I was always at school showing people how to do things on my iPod Touch I would jailbreak it and you know show people how to do that so I figured you know I'm going to upload it on this new platform called YouTube and see what happen see if other people can benefit from it like these people in my school did so that's really just how it started it was very random and was very unprofessional but it got the job done and that's essentially just what kickstarted my career here on YouTube but anyways guys there you have it I hope you enjoyed that montage and then of course the Q&A and also maybe some of that inspiration will inspire you to start a YouTube channel and grow your YouTube channel so thank you guys so much again for watching this video I hope to see you again making a very similar video when I hit 300,000 thanks guys\n"
