Biggest Disappointment of CES 2015

So far, Sam's biggest disappointment at CES 2015 has been the lack of innovation from Samsung. "I would have been happy if they just put the Galaxy Tab Mega s2.4 2014 edition out," he joked. "You know, something Sammy just gave me." The audience laughed at this comment, and it was clear that Samsung's failure to deliver a new flagship device had disappointed Sam.

However, in a surprising twist, Sam mentioned that he is actually excited about the possibility of a real-life note fridge. "I love the idea of a Samsung Galaxy Note Fridge," he said with a grin. "A fridge where you can write on it? That's genius!" The audience chuckled at this idea, and it was clear that Sam was having fun with his disappointment.

Another big disappointment for Sam was Nvidia's presentation at CES 2015. "I love automotive technology, but I didn't like the way they presented their car computer chip," he said. "It was just not what I was expecting." Despite this, Sam acknowledged that Nvidia had made a breakthrough in tablet and mobile computing with their new chip.

Panasonic's Camera Release

On the other hand, Sam was excited about Panasonic's release of a new Lumix camera at CES 2015. "I love Panasonic cameras, and it sounds like they're making them available to consumers in the US," he said. "I'm really looking forward to trying out this new phone."

Unfortunately, Samsung did not live up to Sam's expectations this year. He mentioned that while they had released a few new devices, he was disappointed by their lack of innovation compared to last year.

CES 2015 Coverage

another washing machine inside of it yeah there's a washing machine with a washing machine washing machine Inception dude yeah it's like washing machine Inception uh what else is going on the glex 2 is pretty cool uh pretty good display actually and it feels good but it looks like a OnePlus One can I say can I say that I do want to point out let me point out the glex the glex 2 right is the first smartphone that I've seen in a while that has high-end specs and doesn't have a Quad HD display thank you thank you yes cuz we we don't need it well maybe the curve makes up for it maybe that's what they're doing is the curve is like yeah a little bit just I just don't care about Quad HD well you know what like here at pepcom uh Kevin over here actually finally got a look at the glex too because he wasn't at that in particular uh let's scoot in just a little bit more over here uh he he was able to get a look he justs right in kiss him he was able to actually get a look at the uh at the actual device itself so I wanted to get your thoughts on it since right after we did our recap you went and got took a took a look at it so the the glex actually sits sits good in the hand it really feels like it's this may sound weird but it's like putting its butt in your hand it really kind of it really it sort of like pushes back on in your hand and it actually actually feels really good it just it sits nicely I don't know it just feels good in the hand it doesn't feel like it's a huge phone I me it feels just a nice size and the screen does pop I mean you know for for you not to say it's not a Quad HD it's just HD phone but it doesn't matter I don't think that's a downgrade from HD to Quad HD just because the specs are different that don't mean it's anything different cuz it just it looks fantastic it looks nice and hand it's Snappy obviously you know it's going to have good specs in it it's just I mean I'm impressed with it I I'm not a big fan of kurd phones but this one may change my mind yeah so all right so we full disclosure I don't have too much time left on my card but we got a little bit of time left because I want to put this question out there biggest disappointment so far GH4 at a groundbreaking price and this year uh CES two consumer 4K cameras one for $900 one for 1,000 right on the money all I'm saying right on the money yeah I wholeheartedly agree both with the disappointments and also with Panasonic that Lumix phone is making its way to the US I cannot wait to get my hands on that but nonetheless probably my biggest disappointment I'm going to say it's Nvidia uh I I love automotive technology but it it just wasn't presented in the way that I would have really wanted it to be and at the same time you you you show us this chip that is going to revolutionized supposedly tablet and mobile Computing and then you put it in a Car Mobile doesn't really mean that unfortunately so but they put it into a car it just wasn't really what I was
