Painting with a swinging pendulum (it was a big mess)

The Art of a Hot Mess: A Experiment in Acrylic Flow

It's a cool hot mess, and can you still see our butts? Katelyn asked, as she gazed at the latest iteration of their art piece. No, uh, you can still see my butt slightly, Evan replied with a chuckle. Yeah, okay cool, Katelyn said, nodding towards the art. Out butts are there, we're a part of this.

The duo had set up an experiment to create a unique art piece using acrylic flow, and they were eager to share their progress with their audience. They had taken pictures of the art as soon as it was done, knowing that once they thought they were finished, the paint would start flowing and destroying itself. It's just cracking apart, Katelyn explained, "and it's horrible." We haven't looked yet, so we don't know what they look like, Evan added.

But before showing their audience the final result, Katelyn and Evan wanted to tell them about their sponsor, Vistaprint. If you haven't used Vistaprint before, it's a great service that turns your ideas into gifts, such as customizable holiday cards, canvas prints, phone cases, calendars, or even mugs. They went ahead and put the design on all of those things above, and because of editing magic, they were here.

Which one are you going to open first? Katelyn asked, eyeing the various items laid out before them. Uh, whatever one I'm opening, Evan replied, picking up a mug. Yeah, that's so cool, Katelyn said, admiring the weight and thickness of the mug. That's so cool, Evan echoed, adding his own approval.

As they examined each item, Katelyn couldn't help but ask if they liked their caption. Oh, that's perfect, Evan replied, smiling at the pun. This is from our butt print, Katelyn said, holding up a poster calendar. Look how good that is, our butts made this. Our butts made this.

The duo then announced that Vistaprint was sponsoring them, and they would be giving these items as gifts to their family and friends. If you guys want to use Vistaprint for your holiday gifts this year, you can go to vistaprint.com/EvanAndKatelyn and use the code below for up to 50% off select items.

Now, it was time to reveal what the art had turned into. Evan set everything up, trying not to look, but Katelyn hadn't seen these yet. Let's see what she thinks, Evan said, gesturing to the canvas prints laid out before them. Okay, no, no, no, back out, Katelyn said, backing away from the art.

But it was too late, Evan had already shown her one of the prints, and she gasped in surprise. The squid is gone, Evan exclaimed, looking at his favorite print. This one's my favorite, he said, admiring the colors. Oh, well mine kinda did, Katelyn replied, sighing. And then this one actually kind of looks cooler than it used to, it looks like we added a blur effect to the middle.

Despite the changes, Evan and Katelyn still felt proud of their experiment and the art piece they had created. They were glad that they took high-quality photos and now have canvas prints of them in their original state to give to their family as gifts. Thanks again to Vistaprint for sponsoring this video, they said, before spinning some more paint around.

As they set up the garage again, Evan suddenly remembered something. Ahh! What? Katelyn exclaimed, laughing at his misremembering. Oh my god, we forgot one, Evan said, holding up a print that he had forgotten about. That's on you, Katelyn teased, before they both burst out laughing.

The final result of their experiment was still worth showing off, even if some parts didn't turn out as expected. And with the help of Vistaprint, they could share their unique art piece with friends and family. Bye!
