Samsung Galaxy S20+ vs OnePlus 7t Pro vs Apple iPhone 11 Pro Max - Blind Camera Test

**Comparing Camera Phones: A Visual Analysis**

In this article, we will delve into the world of camera phones and compare three high-end devices - iPhone 11 Pro Max, OnePlus 7T Pro McLaren Edition, and Samsung Galaxy S20+. We will analyze their images in various lighting conditions to determine which phone delivers the best performance.

**Image Comparison: Overexposure vs. Accurate Color Representation**

When comparing the images captured by these phones, it becomes clear that each device has its strengths and weaknesses. Phone B seems to have oversaturated the image, resulting in an unbalanced color representation. On the other hand, Phone A has managed to nail the white balance completely, producing a more accurate and natural-looking image.

In Image 11, we can see that Phone A excels in capturing consistent colors throughout the image, whereas Phone B starts to lose its saturation in the middle of the shot. However, both Phones A and C start off with sharp images, but Phone A manages to maintain its quality all the way through the exposure. This highlights the importance of proper white balance and dynamic range in camera phones.

**Contrast and Saturation: A Key Factor**

In Image 12, we notice that Phone B has slightly more contrast than Phone A, while Phone C seems to have a deeper color representation. However, overall, all three images are well-matched, making it challenging to distinguish between them. This suggests that the difference in contrast may not be as significant as initially thought.

**Low-Light Performance: Pushing Color and Depth**

When comparing low-light images of an iconic car, we see that Phone B performs exceptionally well. It manages to push the color saturation and depth in a way that creates a visually appealing image. Phones A and C struggle with capturing the color of the car, resulting in less saturated and less accurate representations.

In Image 13, Phone B delivers a better low-light performance compared to Phones A and C. While both Phones A and C are good at capturing images, Phone B's ability to push color and depth makes it stand out in this particular scenario.

**Lens Flare and Nighttime Performance: Image Stabilization**

When comparing slow-mo videos of water, we notice that Phones A and C perform exceptionally well, while Phone B struggles with image stabilization. This highlights the importance of advanced camera technology, including features like optical zoom and electronic image stabilization.

In the slow-mo samples, Phones A and C manage to capture sharp images with minimal distortion, whereas Phone B's results are slightly less impressive. The difference is noticeable, especially in terms of image stabilization.

**Reveal: The Results**

After analyzing various images and conditions, we can now reveal the results:

* Phone A was captured using an iPhone 11 Pro Max

* Phone B was captured using a OnePlus 7T Pro McLaren Edition

* Phone C was captured using a Samsung Galaxy S20+

"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enhey guys welcome to igon the Samsung Galaxy S 20 and s 20 plus have just been launched in India will the s20 ultra awaited along with the galaxy z flip the galaxy s 20 and the s 20 plus replaced last year's galaxy s 10 series to become this year's Samsung flagships if you are not including the ultra there are certain interesting things about these phones but today we are going to be doing a blind camera test and comparing them with the iPhone 11 Pro Max and the oneplus 70 pro now the samsung galaxy s 20 plus has an interesting camera setup it's a quad camera setup with a 12 megapixel main camera with an F 1.8 aperture the telephoto lens is a 64 megapixel lens with an f/2 aperture whereas there is a ultra wide lens as well which gives a 12 megapixel image with an F 2.2 aperture the galaxy s 20 plus also includes a 0.3 megapixel tof 3d sensor which allows it to map depth a lot better and hence should improve portrait shots considerably the iPhone 11 Pro max on the other hand has a trio of cameras considered one of the best smartphone cameras of 2019 it has three 12 megapixel cameras one with an F 1.8 aperture for the main lens F 2 for the telephoto and F 2.4 for the ultra wide so this video we're using the oneplus 70 Pro McLaren Edition now this has a triple camera setup as well a forty eight megapixel main camera setup which has an F 1.6 aperture an 8 megapixel F 2.4 telephoto and is 16 megapixel F 2.2 ultra wide so a bunch of changes in terms of aperture size on all of these phones and all of these phones captured 4k video at 60 frames per second but only the Samsung and the iPhone capture 4k video on the front-facing camera as well now as is typical for a blind camera test I've been given all of these images without really knowing which phone is which phone and we label them as phone a B and C at the end of this video I will get the information on which phone is phone a which phone is phone B and which phone is phone C and I will share that information with you so without further ado let's get started but this first image shows how well match these phones are the only real difference I can see is that Fonzie has managed to get colors slightly off in comparison to phone a and phone B or vice versa phone C has got the right color and phone a and B have got the wrong color but irrespective to phones have the same color whereas phone C has a different color on the left side if you notice it seems slightly more yellowish rather than peach ish is what we can see in phone a and phone B now this is the same subject with an ultra-wide lens on all three cameras phone E and phone C managed to get a nice color of the sky whereas phone B manages to get a slightly grey sky not the right kind of color again phone C seems to give it a yellow tint a more yellow or a more warmer tint whereas phone a and phone B seem to get the colors quite right phone we also seems slightly more contrasty and has a lot more depth in the black levels so it seems slightly more gloomier than phone a and phone see now this is again a similar example phone a and phone see seemed less contrasty in comparison to phone B it seems to really accentuate the black levels also you can see the sky in phone B seems purplish whereas the sky in phone a and phone C seems like a nice hint of blue also on the ground you can see the difference in the color of the dirt as well in phone be the color of the dot seems to be more darker and more saturated but phone a and FONSI seem to be quite well matched and the colors also seem quite identical now here is another example of the photographs you can see that the colors I in phone a phone B are almost the same phones he seems more saturated and slightly more contrasting compared to phone a and phone B which seems to get the right color of the road as well as all the colors in the balloons that we can see over here phones he seems slightly more processed phone a in phone we seem to have a slightly more natural shot now here are portrayed shots these are really interesting because it is almost difficult to now spot a portrait from one phone to the other the only real difference is in the skin tone on phone see you can see the skin tones are slightly blown out also the color of the hair is completely blown out the color of the shirt also seems to be lighter so the highlights are really been pushed in phone B you can really see the texture on the face really nicely saturated as as sharp enough doesn't seem over-processed also in phone-a the image has a really nice background really good edge detection all of these photos really good phones he sort of missed on the lighting situation but a and B sort of nailed it on that one now here is a shot which again doesn't show you much there's not a lot going on in terms of subjects but really you can see the difference in the sky and phone B manages to get a good dynamic range you can see the color of the leaves on the top as well as the sky is sort of visible seems slightly blown out phone C manages to add lots of saturation and contrast so pretty well mashed here as well now here is another shot that at first doesn't look different at all but if you start to notice phone B again you see that the color of the pillar is completely different the color of the trees the color of the dirt seems more saturated more Brown which is not the case in phone a and phone see sharpness focus all of those things seem to be on point on all of these images it only seems to be a difference in saturation really good images again on all three of these cameras now here is an interesting shot of a flower this is also in Auto but really good macro shot shot by the phones in an auto mode the depth is so nice that it almost appears to be a portrait shot whereas it isn't it's just the natural depth from the sensors on all of these cameras again you can really notice the difference of the color phone a and phone C seem to have a slightly lesser red tone and darker tone whereas phone B seems to be a darker and a more contrasty image also lots of saturation in their phones he also seems to really push the highlights and the red seems blown out a phone a seems to really capture the detail on the flower and you can see inside the flower all the textures and everything so a really good image if you present these images individually you won't really be able to tell the difference between all of these images until you stack them side-by-side now here is an image that really shows you how well matched these cameras are again slightly darker and phone be slightly more blown out Reds in fancy but very well matched you cannot really tell a difference this is me nitpicking over here really good cameras on all three of these phones now again in image 10 you can see the difference in the color really accurately FONSI seems to give it a whereas found B seems to give it a dark red tone and phone a seems to give a completely different look to the brick on the back so if you notice the color in all three of these images is quite different phone B seems oversaturated over contrasted phones he seems to have missed the white balance completely whereas phone a seems to have nailed this short in this image now image 11 is a really good image as well very well matched in terms of the color you can only see a major difference in the color of the sky in phone a seems consistent all the way towards the end you can see a nice blue whereas phone B sort of loses it somewhere in the middle where it becomes white and phone C also starts off really sharp with the blue but sort of fades out towards the middle of the trace on a manages to get all of that in a single color which is nice with dynamic range on phone a seems better but overall a really good color really good sharpness on all of these B seems slightly more contrast e to me again image number 12 would really well matched really can't find major difference in all of these images if you notice the color of the brick in phone B and C seems slightly deeper phone a seems slightly more flat but everything else is quite identical it's really difficult to point out differences between all of these phones here is another example for image number 13 or tells us the difference you can see that the phone be really saturates the image as well as really deepens the black levels phone see also manages to sort of give it a lot more saturation phone a seems slightly more flat color the brick on the walls as well as the texture in the top of the building seems to come out really well in phone a and B phone C seems to struggle with the whole roof texture thing that's going on in image 13 here is a low-light image of a really iconic car you can see the lens flare in phone a and a little bit of a lens flare in fonts he seems really nice a low-light on all three of these phones again out of auto no special settings turned on really good now phone B manages to really give out the color of the car over here and phone a and phones he sort of struggle with the color of the car so the saturation and the contrast in phone B works out for low-light images it really pushes the color and gives you a slightly deeper image really nice looking image over here in phone be phones he gives again a slightly more flatter image you could process it a little bit to give a deeper tone but out of the box phone B manages to deliver a better shot which is visually appealing in low-light images again here in phony and fancy you can see that color is slightly less deeper than in phone B and the color of the sky also seems faded in phone a whereas phone B and phones he managed to get a little bit of color in the sky phone be a slightly more accurate color phone C gives a slightly purple tint the color of the road in all three of these images is completely different so again something to notice here this is also a low-light shot as well and you can see that a very well matched in all three cases phone a manages to get a slightly better a light representation phone B also does a good job of pushing out color phones he seems slightly darker and purplish the sky is done completely purple also in phone a the sky appears to be completely purple but phone B manages to get the right color on the sky now here is a video sample with image stabilization turned on all of these are in portrait mode phone a and phones he managed to do a fantastic job of image stabilization whereas phone be struggles with stabilizing the video slightly here is a slow-mo sample of video again really well matched a phone B seems a little less sharp phone a and phone C really nailing the sharpness in terms of the slow-mo and a really nice effect on the water as well overall all three of these phones is really performed well in the images and it was really difficult to tell which phone was which from going through these images have you made your guesses if you haven't before I reveal the results drop them in the comment section below which one do you think is funny which one do you think is phone
