**The Review of New Phone Buddhist Cards Against Humanity Game**
I recently purchased an Amazon item that I was excited to try out, called "New Phone, Buddhist" which is essentially a cards against humanity style game. The game comes with a white card as an initial text and players take turns drawing blue response cards to respond to the prompt. For example, one of the responses might say "You want to meet my goldfish this weekend I think you guys would really vibe." This type of humor is what makes the game so funny, it's like a mix between pictionary and charades, but with adult themes.
The game comes with an expansion pack which adds more options for players. The creator has also recently released an expansion based on Mean Girls, which I'm considering purchasing as well. However, I think this particular game has become our group favorite and we can't get enough of it. the most difficult parts of Christmas shopping is trying to find something that's unique useful that they will like and not everyone is going to be getting them same thing and you want something that also says hey I put some thought into this I didn't just pick up a gift card or a candle and write your name on it so I'm going over things that are customized personalized or just really unique that most people will not think about so everyone on your shopping list will have something that they will love and no one else has gotten for them alright let's get into it all right guys let's do it first item we'll start with this is a customized picture book so this particular one is off Shutterfly but you can you can basically get them from anywhere leave vistaprint does one you can get them at Walgreens there's a few other places that you can also get them with like cloth material as well this one is it's a hardcover okay and so this one was my husband's first year dating and yeah you can make you can do as many pages or as few pages as you want these pictures were actually pulled directly off of like our instagrams like with captions and everything or you can make ones where you submit your own pictures and it can take up the entire page it can be sections you can add cute little notes and there are a lot of companies that do it different sizes different amount of pages different prices but this was something that took a lot of thought it was also very sweet especially if you get it from like Walgreens or something I know specifically you can pick up I think in three days so also it looks very thoughtful but you don't have to take a whole lot of time to do it next hard B's okay so these the wood planks with large photos printed on them these also come in several different sizes you can get them from a bunch of different companies these I actually did get at Walgreens and they have like tons of sales I got these during 50% off and I think they were seventeen dollars each but again you can get them in different sizes you can get the pictures printed on glass you can get them in a picture book you can get them I made into a calendar but it's just very thoughtful and I picked these up same day so especially if you wait for those sales you can get these for 17 dollars you can get them the same day but they're very thoughtful and I just blew up some of our engagement pictures but you can also do these for your friends you can do them family pictures for your grandparents your parents if when your friends just got married you can blow up one of their wedding pictures or just some Gran's its favorite pictures from vacations or Vegas or whatever it is and that's very thoughtful I've also heard of people doing it after they've lost like a pet and as just like a really sweet keepsake doing one of these with a picture of that person and their past okay next Stalkings you can customize stockings I got these on Etsy I got them for I believe is $25 each it took about two weeks to come in and there are tons of different Etsy shops on there that you can get them and you can get different knit stockings different material stockings different colors we can pick the font the color thread the color of the actual stocking and yeah they're super cute super sweet something they can keep forever and I just I love them and super thoughtful because it's I feel like it's something that a lot of people don't even think about but love once they see them next is a custom Christmas ornament this one I just got for our first Christmas married but you can also get them for if someone buys a new house if someone gets a new pet like Skippy's first Christmas 2019 or whatever it is or you could do graduate 20 19 or 20 18 whatever it is and you can get it customized for anything it doesn't just how it can be to commemorate anything that has happened so graduations weddings pets births if they have children anything like that so really fun and you can do anything with it again I got this on Etsy oh this one is porcelain or ceramic and but you can get wood ones you can get metal ones so a lot of it has to do with basically the material that you want and how much personalization you want so like are we doing front and back are we doing the photo and things like that but yeah they can completely customize them into your price range another thing is customizing ornaments yourself so this was one I got at Disneyland and I got customized but I wanted to do a first Christmas ornament for our two pups that we got this year so I ended up purchasing these and they didn't have time to customize them so I ordered paint pens off Amazon I got gold silver black white and red that five pack for $11 and they should be arriving today and then I also got like fancy writing stickers so in case I practice on paper and I can't write calligraphy very well I'm gonna just write like say d201 nine and then put like puppies first Christmas on the back so that's what I basically plan to do for both of these but you can also do that with just like regular bulb ornaments just customize your own first ornament for whatever it is that you're commemorating next socks okay so these are just regular socks I had recently got but you can actually get socks with um like one of your friends significant other or family member pets someone's face you send in a picture and they print like about that size all over the sock and you can have it completely customized and it can be like really funny really sweet depending on the picture of what you choose I saw an Instagram someone that had done their husband's senior picture and gave it to them for Christmas after like 20 years of marriage so major throwback picture or if you can find something super embarrassing of one of your friends recently or even in their childhood it would be fantastic to put on there next for pet owners custom bandanas so we got Sadie and then it's like two-sided this one's hunter also two-sided and what's cool about these particular bandanas are that they have a little opening so that you can strain the collar through it so these were as you can tell I the size they're puppy bandanas and so because puppies are kind of pulling on things or we're trying to get things off they're very playful this made sure that the bandana did not come off of them so we didn't have to worry about them falling off free time then tying him to tie anything like that so that was really helpful um God want Etsy these were each between 15 and 18 dollars each so it's not too bad also for pet people custom dog bowls so these were about $30 each you think $28 we got the large ones though because we have Goldendoodles so they're gonna be between 60 and 80 pounds in the full-grown so we just wanted to buy once that that would last them but they do have smaller ones too that are cheaper so ceramic super cute you get to pick the color you can pick the font you can pick whether or not you want shiny glittery we added on the paw print at the end and just make sure none of our guests try to use these as like a surly make it abundantly clear it's for dogs another idea for people that have pets is get them matching things with their pets so these are bandanas that I just got off Amazon they were $7.99 so I got one for each of our pups and then I went and bought matching pajama pants so these are completely different brands from different places but the prints match because they are buffalo plaid I believe it's called so you can find like similar generic prints like that and you can find matching ones I found these pj pants at Kohl's they were 1199 and then again this was just $7.99 so it was really cheap to get something matching but absolutely loved it we wore them for the Christmas decorating video if you haven't seen it already check it out it's really awesome and the bandanas and PJs are super cute I love matching with my dog and I'm sure anyone and everyone does whether it's their cat dog bunny or whatever pet maybe you can match the bird I don't know but matching stuff always wins and I think that's all I have for the dog category for customization another thing wine box you can get this customisation customized with anything you can just have your name half-a-day travels anything like that so you can get it customized however you want whoops opens up has a little felt thing and it has all these different nice little tools okay other customizations this I did not customize but you can customize yetis so yetis you can customize for under $30 I think I had gotten one for friend for like 24 it was a 16 ounce I think it was and it kind of comes to more of a point it's not quite substrate as this one is but you can get a personalized with like different monograms or designs or fonts your names and you can customize the color of the Yeti the color the font what font it is all of that and so you can completely make it customized again Etsy is the place to go for that I'm sure other place to do it to you see just my go-to you can also customize mug so if you have any coffee tea drinkers in your life you can get it customized with their name or cute little quotes something that they always say a funny memory or anything like that you can also get them customized with pictures something I've seen that I thought was really funny was you can get a picture on here but then it appears to be black the mug just looks all black and then when you put something hot in it it will show whatever pictures under it so that one is a really fantastic reveal if you're doing like a black mail picture or just something really funny so food for thought again Etsy is a really great place to get stuff like that okay other thing wine so wine okay it has the boring label whatever but also Etsy you can customize wine labels I didn't get twelve for like eight bucks or something like that and you can the color the design of it if you want like a floral print or you want pictures of trees in it or whatever you want you can completely design it or just tell them what you want pick the background pick the font pick the words and where everything is kind of laid out for you and then they send you all the stickers on a sheet and you can re label the wines so it looks like you have like a custom bottle of wine so you can get them again and say funny stuff say the person's name this is also really nice for like birthdays or like bachelorette parties and things like that you just want to surprise someone because it doesn't always have to be something cutesy but yeah you can do a ton of stuff with that okay also Etsy customized aprons so I got this one for myself it is silver or the writing is silver with gold on a glitter Wow the writing is silver with glitter and I got to pick the color of the apron I got to pick the font I got to pick what it said I got to pick the fact that there's two different fonts this is really great for anyone that cooks a lot so your sister your mom your grandma if you have someone or your dad whoever it is grill master or anything like that and it doesn't necessarily have to be their name it could say grill master or like hottest chef in town you can put a little like kiss mark next to it and you can completely customize it however you want I cook a lot I basically cook every single day at least one to two meals every day I just love cooking and so I'm just using basic aprons and it just wasn't very exciting so now when I'm gonna cook and I without my custom apron I feel like ready to go and like excited about it and stuff so that's something I bought for myself I would have to receive as a gift and this was about $17 other thing ray-bans so did you know you can customize Raven so if you go on their website you can pick the color frame you can pick the color and there's a few different like designs and textures of the earpiece you can pick the frames and you can customize this is the one I customize my husband's not have it right now but right here on the earpiece you can customize their initials or their name and they'll also do like the outside here they'll also print on the case itself so if you get it customized online it actually does not cost anything so fun way if you're planning on getting some with sunglasses ray-bans they will customize it for free you just have to do it online alright for those Disney people out there ears so Disneyland always has like 10 different years and they have those really thick bands and they don't stay on your heads and the ears that they have everyone has them because they're the only ones they sell there so but um you can have your own made what yes you can have your own made again Etsy you can also get ones on Amazon where they'll be unique and handmade but typically you just have to pick from whatever the creator has already created versus if you get them on Etsy you can pick the colour of the ears the colour the headband the color of the bow whether or not you want sequin you want feta velvet or whatever and they have the thinner regular headband that actually stays on your head it is so much more comfortable it stays which is really nice it's not as frustrating as the regular ones and you can have completely unique ones and you can have like floral print you doesn't have to just be the basics you can get buck wild with this if you want and I picked just kind of stand I don't like a whole lot of patterns I wear a lot of just neutral or single tone clothing and so order for things to match for me I just I guess I like the plain stuff so but you can get as wild as you want also for those Disney people shirts so this one I believe I got on Amazon vicuna Moscato it means drink wine so yeah you can get all those g-rated shirts at Disneyland I again everybody has or you can customize so this one says minibar and has all these different cute glasses this one I got on Etsy and what I like about it is the fact that you get to pick the color shirt you get to pick what type of shirt so they had this one they had you could have it printed on a camisole you could have it printed on a crewneck short sleeve a crewneck long-sleeve v-neck you neck anything like that and then you also got to pick like the color of the shirt so do you want black gray Navy white whatever so you get a customized in quite a bit and I have never seen anyone with them so that was pretty awesome then okay well this is a robe so again Etsy you can customize robes you can have monograms in the front you can have them on the back you can have someone's name you get pick the font you get pick the style you get to pick the color ro different types of robes and you can completely customize it for whoever you want and they have men's and women's so you can completely make it exactly what the person you're shopping for would want or like all right so that's it for my custom gifts now these are just a few other gifts that a lot of people don't think of that are pretty unique so one also for Disney people this is a little cover that you put on your Apple watch so you can be rocking Minnie Mouse on your wrist for pet owners I just got this it is an absolute lifesaver with all the rain going on our dog's paws are getting so dirty so you just stick the pop dog spawn here and with these silicone brushes it cleans up next our games so whenever you could get together with your friends it is just fun to play games so here are some of my recommendations this one just came out I played it elsewhere I haven't opened mine yet I just got this Amazon I want to say it was $12 it's called new phone Buddhist so basically I kind of cards against humanity' were like you put down the white card blue response cards so this one is this is your boss Chris I think you have the wrong number another one are you trying to flirt with me and then dude you peed in my bed last night don't even hit me up and then is this the same Matthew that got kicked out of high school for selling bags of oregano to freshmen and it's just like kind of like an adult game but super funny and I had a really good time playing this so I basically ordered on the spot what do you mean so I haven't actual what do you mean game but the expansion packs is where it's at so for someone who already has the game expansion packs up this one specifically is super funny I've actually seen that they also recently made a Mean Girls one so I probably need to collect that but really exciting they have so many different ones it's hilarious this has basically become our group favorite so basically the way over the line works is it's like across a pictionary in charades so you draw a card and you can pick either to draw it or act it out and it comes with a little whiteboard and so if you draw it obviously same rules as pictionary no words no numbers no sounds and you have to draw it out when your team has to guess and you're trying to get through as many cards as possible before your time runs out and then if you're acting it out same rules of charades you know no talking no spelling things with your body and no sounds and it's so funny because everything is basically like pg-13 and above rated so definitely an adult game but super super funny and then my last game recommendation is midnight taboo so everyone knows how to play taboo midnight taboo it was basically the adult version of it so more adult words I guess and then ending is probably the best Christmas tip I could give you back up gifts we have all been in a situation that someone gives you a gift that you are not expecting gift from perhaps it's a co-worker or a friend that you don't typically exchange gifts with or maybe someone came back into town that you were not expecting to see and now they have a gift for you back up gifts save you I wrap them I put bows on them and I will put a little label and write the from and everything's ready to go so all usually also put it posted on it saying backup gift and then whatever is inside like if you're doing like some some years I've done my backup gifts is like a game so I'll do like regular taboo back up gift and so I keep it in a closet elsewhere so if all of a sudden someone brings out a gift oh don't worry let me go get yours goes a closet you just have to write their name on it real quick and I store it with a pen right next to it so I don't have to be running around town so you can do Y you could do candle you can do you can do adult games you can do regular games like regular taboo or Monopoly you get everything ready to go so if something happens this is a generic gift that you can give to people you can also do gift cards so Starbucks gift cards Target Gift Cards Amazon gift cards things that you know anyone would use looks like you thought of them but it could have been for anyone so back up gifts wrap them put a bow on them put the tag on it already write your name store it with a pen next to it so someone whips out a gift for you you are ready to go and you are not blindsided usually I will keep two to three backup gifts another good idea is get it on Amazon Amazon will do they're doing their returns until I think end of January right now so for Christmas stuff you can still return it so if you buy things wrap it and you don't end up using it you can still return it at the end of Christmas and get your money back if you find yourself in that situation you will be so happy you did those backup gifts all right well
