NEW HOUSE _ MASTER CLOSET UNPACK & SET UP

The Closet Organization Project: A Journey to Sanity

As I stood in front of my cluttered closet, I couldn't help but laugh at the state of disarray that surrounded me. It had been over a week since I'd last stepped foot in here, and yet, I'd still managed to maintain my "survival mode" where fashion was a distant memory. The clothes were piled haphazardly onto racks, with no concept of color coordination or strategic organization. It was time for a change.

I began by sorting through the random items that didn't fit into any particular category. These were the clothes that had been left behind in the chaos, and I had to decide whether they belonged on a rack or in a box. As I worked, I realized that this section of the closet was going to be my "catch-all" area for anything that didn't fit neatly into one of the other categories.

Moving on to the workout gear, I decided to dedicate an entire section of the closet to storing all of my tank tops, jogging jackets, and other fitness-related items. This was a space where I could easily access everything I needed, without having to dig through piles of clothes. I also realized that I had a shoe problem - I only wore Nikes, but I knew I needed to find more room for the rest of my shoes.

To solve this problem, I decided to create a special section for shoes. I started by sorting through all of my boots and placing them in a designated area. Next, I tackled the hats, which were an important part of my wardrobe. I love organizing my hats, and I had even attempted to color-code them at one point. While it wasn't perfect, I was determined to make this work.

As I continued working on the closet, I came across some shorts that needed to be clipped onto a pants hanger. These were a bit tricky to store, but I managed to find a solution. I also realized that I had more boots than I initially thought, so I added those to the section as well. This was starting to take shape.

The next section of the closet was dedicated to vests and longer pieces. I decided to color-coordinate these items, which meant grouping them by color. While it wasn't a perfect system, it was a start. I also included some random pieces that didn't fit into any particular category. As I worked on this section, I realized that I had a few sentimental items that needed to be stored away. These included my daughter's graduation gown and some baby clothes.

As the closet began to take shape, I moved on to the Dollar Tree organization bins. These were going to be used to store everything from purses to scarves. I love using these bins to keep clutter at bay, and I was excited to see how they would work in this new space. I also realized that I needed to make some adjustments to my shoe storage system - more shelves were needed.

With the majority of the closet organized, I decided to focus on the final touches. This included color-coordinating the remaining clothes, grouping similar items together, and creating a sense of flow throughout the space. As I worked, I realized that this was going to be one of my favorite projects - it was so satisfying to see everything come together.

Finally, with the closet complete, I stepped back to admire my handiwork. It was a beautiful space, full of color and organization. While there were still some minor details to attend to, I knew that I had created something special. As I packed up the cleaning supplies, I couldn't help but feel a sense of pride and accomplishment - this closet project had brought me back from the brink of sanity.

The Finished Product: A New Chapter for My Closet

As I stood in front of my newly organized closet, I felt a sense of relief wash over me. It was a space that I could finally call my own, free from clutter and disorganization. The process of creating this new space had been therapeutic, and I knew that I would never take it for granted again.

I decided to document the entire process, from start to finish, so that others could see the transformation. As I worked on this video, I realized that it was more than just a closet organization project - it was a journey of self-discovery. It was a reminder that even in the darkest of times, there is always hope for a brighter future.

As I uploaded the finished video, I couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement. This was going to be one of my favorite videos yet - it was so much fun to watch and relive the experience all over again. And as I waited for the views to roll in, I knew that this closet organization project had been more than worth it.

"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enalright guys for today's video and I'm laughing just to kind of keep my sanity a little bit but I need to organize this closet I have actually been living here for I don't even know how long but well over a week and I have not even stepped foot in here to get dressed to do anything I've just been piling stuff as well obviously you can see I've been piling things when I was moving the clothes onto the racks it was a know at all particular order or concept or not concept but any type of strategic organization whatsoever and it's time for me to kind of get this going because I have not been wearing real clothes and I don't even know how long I'm wearing winter socks these leggings a gray t-shirt I listen I'm in complete survival mode that's all I can say so I just thought I'd pick up this camera and we could organize my new closet and yeah so that's what we're going to do and let's get going over in this section it's pretty much things that are just kind of random that I don't have slotted into my color categories and then this is my workout stuff I like to keep them on hangers all of my tank tops etc my jogging jackets yeah so I just have all of my workout stuff there now I have a shoe problem so hi funny thing is all I do is wear Nikes but we're not here to talk about that today I need to actually get some sort of stool or something so that I can put more shoes up there and we'll get into that later but for now I was just trying to put shoes where I could reach obviously so I have some boots there I have some extra hats I need to go to Dollar Tree and get some more of those hooks that's where I get those and I love to organize my hats like this you know I'm a hot girl and I didn't even get to finish all of them and I even attempted to put them in like a color coding Organization for those as well and then these are just shorts that I need to just kind of clip on the pants hanger and get those put up but for now they're just gonna sit there I have more boots they're over in this section you can see that I have some more shoes lined up here we talked about my shoe problem a second ago I decided to put my vests here I love my puffer vests and then just some random Pete will not random pieces but just some longer pieces and jackets I tried to color coordinate these as well just threw these up pretty quickly I have like my daughter's graduation gown and stuff in here I'm eventually going to be making some shadow boxes like her cheer uniforms that are back there but so I'm just storing them in here for now I actually have a box clothing for when she was a baby so I'm going to store those in the closet for now as well up here I put more of my Dollar Tree organization bins just to kind of store stuff eventually I'll put these purses into those as well but in the last house I actually had them hooked on like shower curtain rings and I had them hanging from a bar but I didn't want to do that this time so I just put them up there and then more of those Dollar Tree bins I decided to put some more shoes up here so you can see all my flats some additional tennis shoes that I just don't reach for that often are there and because I color coordinate I decided to take up both of these two racks so that I could keep the clothes together and I have my blues greens and then we transition into beiges oranges pinks some Purple's I mean it's not in the best most perfect color organization but they're finally paired up together and then up here I have my neutrals I have whites Gray's blacks and then I have I really don't actually have much rights of it all like that's just nuts you can obviously see colors that I prefer the most which are whites blacks and blues those are the ones I have the most of and then over here which is probably a lot of your favorites you know it's just a really lovely shoe space and I still didn't have enough room for all of my shoes a lot of these I have had for years upon years upon years but I did the best I could with organizing them into color and etc but I decided to keep my Nikes closest to me I suppose and so those these are the ones I basically grabbed for the most and then I have more over here we talked about my problem right yeah so all of my sneakers and stuff and then I have my pants my jeans some random skirts and some shorts that are hung up are there and then my scarves are all here I actually ran out of room for them I'm gonna have to store a couple of others and place until I can maybe figure out some sort of different system I don't know if you have any ideas comment them and let me know I do like to see my scarves and maybe I don't need to do this during spring and summer I could put them away but in the winter I do like them hanging like this because I like to see my options alright so that is it that is the finished completed closet pack away with me I don't even know like what to call this I really wanted to take you guys through a quick walkthrough cuz I know sometimes dragging it out can I don't know some I just wasn't in the mood to drag it out not that I'm in the mood to drag out any of my videos but I think you get what I'm saying so that is the finished product eventually like I said I'll get those shoes and I'll get all the shoes moved up on top and that's it for this video thank you guys so much for watching please give this video a thumbs up if you enjoyed I can't wait for you guys to see the living room furniture in the color scheme I'm going for you guys are gonna absolutely love it and so click the Bell
