Today, we're excited to introduce a brand new series on The Boss TV, all about smartphone hacks that will help you customize your Android experience and get the most out of your phone. As you might have noticed, our channel has always been about customizing your Android experience, and with this new series, we'll be combining everything we've learned from Best Tech, Android Apps, and Tips & Tricks videos into one comprehensive episode.
Our goal is to make your phone more useful, more efficient, and just plain cool. We'll cover a range of hacks that will make you wonder how you ever lived without them. So, if you're excited about trying out new tricks and tips, be sure to subscribe to our channel and leave a like in the comments below.
First up, we have a tiny piece of silicon that's going to change the way you read. It's called a smartphone lamp, and it uses your phone's torch to provide focused light similar to what a softbox might do in a photography studio. It's an inexpensive hack that can be mounted on your phone and provides perfect lighting for reading. We have to admit, it looks a bit odd, but trust us, it works like a charm.
But that's not all - we're also going to show you how to take full control of your notification LED using an application called Light Flow. This app is free for a limited version, and then you can upgrade to get the full feature set. With Light Flow, you can customize everything from LED colors to sound profiles, volumes, codes, and even frequencies of beeping. It's like having a superpower at your fingertips.
Another hack we want to share with you is how to make a homemade lava lamp using just your smartphone, oil, table salt, and food coloring. Sounds simple, right? Just fill a container with water, add some oil, and then add a few drops of food coloring. Then, place your phone on top of the container and watch as the magic happens. The lava lamp will start off vigorous but slow down over time, creating a mesmerizing effect that's sure to captivate anyone who sees it.
We're also excited to introduce you to Power Tabs - disposable power banks that are designed for Android devices. They're biodegradable, fully recyclable, and provide just enough juice to get you through an extra hour or two of calls. And the best part? They come in both Android and iOS variants, so no matter what phone you have, you can use them too.
Overall, our first episode of Smartphone Hacks is all about exploring the possibilities of your phone and finding new ways to make it more useful, more efficient, and just plain cool. We hope you enjoy watching this video and that you'll subscribe to our channel for more hacking tips and tricks in the future. Thanks for watching!
"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enso guys I'm going to keep this short and sweet but today we're introducing a brand new series on the channel so as you might have realized pretty much the core of this TVs the boss has always been about customizing your Android experience so kind of getting the most out of your phone and with smart phone hacks I'm planning to basically combine everything I've learned from best tech from Android apps videos from Android tips and tricks videos in Toccoa just one episode which encompasses all of it so there'll be lots of useful stuff you can do with your phone as well as lots that's just kind of plain cool and don't worry all those previous episodes best tech Android apps is on they'll continue to go on but this is just something new that I'm giving a go so if you do enjoy it be sure to leave a like and also let me know in the comments down below how I can improve it further let's get started so we're going to kick things off with this tiny piece of silicon right here it's very inexpensive and what it is is a smartphone lamp it uses the phone's torch previously very bright but focused and it spreads out the light similar to what a softbox might do to a lamp once it's mounted on your phone I have to say it looks pretty odd but it's securely fit it shouldn't fall off and it provides pretty much the perfect amount of light for reading now hack number two I was amazed by how few people have heard of built into both Android and iOS you have something called keyboard shortcuts once enabled just type 2 or 3 letters and your keyboard can automatically input up to 50 characters as a result to enable it you simply pop into the language settings type in a word and then type in what word you want to trigger that word and as soon as you've typed in the trigger it doesn't matter what application you're in the code word that you wanted to input from that trigger will appear in the suggestions bar you just tap it it'll fill it in and it makes your typing way faster so did you know that with just your smartphone oil table salt and food coloring you can make a homemade lava lamp so simply get out the different ingredients 3/4 fill a container with water and then fill the rest with oil add the food coloring in the color you use is not particularly important but just try not to overdo it it's tough to see how much you've actually put in until you let it mix and once that's done put your phone's torch on place a lava lamp on top very carefully and then add the table salt in and watch the magic happen the lava lamp will start off very vigorous and will start to slow down but the effect will keep going on for about 10 to 15 minutes so the next hack will make sure you never run out of battery when you really need it and for this we're using the power tabs and essentially it's such an interesting product because these are disposable power banks you simply use them once and after that they're done they've got a biodegradable shell and a fully recyclable with just 800 milliamps of juice it's not enough to fully charge your phone but you can quite easily get about 4 hours of extra call time and also they come in Android and iOS variants and it's just quite a nice thing to just keep in your wallet just as a little backup so hack number 5 lets you take full control of your notification LED using an application called light flow which is free for a very limited version but then you do have to pay to get the full feature set we can basically customize everything so depending on which application triggers the notification you can set different LED colors you can set different sound profiles you can set different volumes different codes even different frequencies of beeping so guys there we have it that was my first episode of smartphone hacks I really hope you enjoy the video and if you did be sure to smash that like button let me know in the comments down below what you think how I can improve it and if you think I should carry on with the series thanks for watching I mister user boss and I'm signing outso guys I'm going to keep this short and sweet but today we're introducing a
