Painting My 911 In A Rolls Royce Colour

I'm Not Really Sure How to Start This Video

I'm not really sure how to start this video, but I'll just dive right in and hope for the best. I've been working on my Porsche 911 for a while now, and I'm excited to finally show you what it looks like with a new coat of paint. I've always been a fan of vinyl wraps, and I've had a few over the years that have really blown me away in terms of quality and design. However, after seeing Topaz Skin's product in action, I have to say that I'm impressed.

Topaz Skin: A Game-Changing Paint Product

So, what is Topaz Skin? It's a paint product that uses a combination of technology and human expertise to create a truly unique and bespoke finish. The process starts with a color match, where the team at Topaz use advanced software to identify the perfect shade for your car. From there, they apply multiple layers of lacquer to achieve a depth and richness that's almost impossible to replicate with traditional paint.

One of the things that struck me about Topaz Skin is its ability to capture the subtleties of color and finish that are so hard to achieve with vinyl wraps. When you look at a car with a good vinyl wrap, it's always going to be slightly different from the real thing. The material can be slightly textured, the colors may not be quite right, and the overall finish is often less rich and nuanced than the original paint job.

But with Topaz Skin, that's all changed. I've had the chance to see this product in action on my own car, and it's truly mind-blowing. The color is incredibly rich and deep, and the finish is almost imperceptible. It's like looking at a real Porsche 911, rather than a car with a fancy vinyl wrap.

My Experience with Topaz Skin

So, how did I get to this point? Well, it all started when I saw a video of Topaz Skin in action. I was immediately impressed by the quality and finish of the paint job, and I knew that I had to have it for my own car. The team at Topaz were incredibly helpful throughout the process, answering all of my questions and providing guidance every step of the way.

One of the things that struck me about working with Topaz was their attention to detail. They're clearly passionate about what they do, and it shows in the final product. From the color matching to the application of the lacquer, everything is done with precision and care.

The Finished Product

And now, finally, I get to show you the finished product. It's hard to put into words just how stunning this car looks, but I'll try my best. The color is a tweaked variation of Rolls-Royce olive, which I thought would add a touch of class to my Porsche. And let me tell you, it does.

When you look at the car in person, it's almost impossible not to be impressed. The paint job is flawless, with no visible brushstrokes or imperfections whatsoever. The color is rich and deep, and the finish is incredibly smooth. It's like looking at a real Porsche 911, rather than my own car with a fancy vinyl wrap.

The Cost of Topaz Skin

One of the things that I want to address is the cost of Topaz Skin. As you can probably guess, it's not cheap. However, for me, it was worth every penny. The quality and finish of the paint job are truly unmatched, and I feel like I've got a car that's really one-of-a-kind.

That being said, I do think that Topaz Skin is worth considering for anyone who wants to give their car a new look without breaking the bank. While it may not be the cheapest option out there, it's definitely worth looking into if you're in the market for a high-quality paint job.

Conclusion

And that's it for this video. I hope you've enjoyed seeing my Porsche 911 with its brand-new Topaz Skin finish. It's truly an incredible product, and I'm so glad that I got to experience it firsthand. If you're in the market for a new car or want to give your current ride a fresh new look, I highly recommend checking out Topaz Skin.

Chester Dolly: A Dream Come True

I have to say, this project has been one of my most exciting endeavors yet. I've always dreamed of owning a Porsche 911 in Rosso Corsa and tan leather interior, but it seemed like an impossible dream given the rarity of those cars. However, thanks to Topaz Skin, that dream is finally coming true.

I'm so excited to share this car with you all, and I hope that you'll enjoy seeing it as much as I do. It's truly a stunning piece of work, and I feel like I've been lucky enough to have a part in bringing it into being.

"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enI'm not really sure how to start this video uh hello one and welcome to see-through glass well okay so you may remember the two weeks ago as soon as I got back to the UK I took my 911 clarity to Yanam eyes and I got the car D wrapped now I did explain a little bit why and the reason behind it in that video a couple of weeks ago but some of you might have missed it so I'm gonna explain things again if you did see the previous video feel free to skip ahead a couple of minutes cuz I'll probably be repeating myself but yes let's go all the way back to the end of last year when I collected the 911 Carrera T in its stunning GT silver paint as it was delivered from the factory as much as I loved that whole color scheme I always knew I wanted to turn the car green and I in fact I had a very special and specific green in my head the problem was that green didn't really exist as a vinyl I just went through so many different vinyl wrapped color choices and sample things I just couldn't find the green but Bert at ya know Mize came to my rescue came up with a brilliant idea to create some kind of hybrid material of a satin vinyl with a gloss overlay so sort of gluing two vinyls together and it was the perfect color however he did say at that time he didn't warn me that I would be conceding on quality if I went that route we obviously did get that route because you will know the car ended up green and I was super super happy but we did have some issues with the quality and when the car arrived in Australia I think the two materials were starting to come apart in some areas and it was bubbling up and it looked brilliant in pictures and on video but in real life it just didn't have that same usual quality that well yeah nice wraps have had before on previous cars that I've done with him so I knew something was wrong he was brilliant the whole team was billion they were always on call and they tried to suggest various ways to sort of help fix it but we all agreed that the best solution was to revamp the car whilst it was back here in the UK during the summer before heads to America however in that time with topaz a company very famous for their paint protection films launched a product called topaz skin now I really need a professional which I'll go and find in a second to explain this properly but effectively it's it's pain so it's like respraying or repainting your car but it's on top of the factory pain I'm still not sure I've explained that very well let me go have a further look around and then yeah I'll find a way to summarize this better can I say that you are the main man topaz you're one of the head honchos here yeah yeah myself a mess there you go sure you can probably do a good job of explaining exactly what the product is because I really messed it up in layman's terms what is topaz get okay the simplest way of explaining it is that it's a peelable paint okay okay that's the simplest way of explaining it going a bit more technical is basically you have your original colour we apply two layers of a clear basically a clear plastic it seems like and then it's a paint with a beautiful paint that's the technology part off to a basket so if you have an original super-exclusive car that you want to keep looking really exclusive and original sure you can still do a basket on it make it look really good fill all the defects and they want to come taking off all the product the original cracks in okay patina the patina knows very well now we've got a lot of cells so I'm just going to come around this side of the camera because this is this is where for me it gets super interesting so this right here is actually a little piece of the vinyl wrap that has been on the car for the last six months and actually holding it up right there you can see well we're gonna call it an orange peel types of no distortion exam distortion there we go so it should a vinyl distortion it's really obvious holding this with the lights and shimmering off it with with this with a vinyl easy to put on it takes much less time to do then with painting a car and relatively it's cheaper as well to do coming here I gave Nabil the same problem that I gave Yanni about six months ago I said look I want this color like I know there's some amazing Porsche exclusive cars out there but I didn't want to change because I've fallen in love with the way the car looks and I wanted this so Joey won us through exactly like what has been going on like s the last four weeks and yeah what you've been doing what what what you wanted obviously with this is to get the ultimate color coming through right so basically the reason why I'm asking you can get a really good finish you can see the color the depth is the lacquer gets sanded and that's the peaks and troughs in the lacquer so what makes the paint come through is that if you have the lack of being totally flats or no V shapes or u shapes it's certainly come flat like this and the Sun reflects light reflects and goes in order for angles which gives you that effect of deep paint their richness when you're going over how deep that paint is it's because the lacquer is totally flat well so this is literally what we ended up with because you have the unbelievable ability here to color match or or taking the color using a machine yeah and then find either an identical color in some system of I don't know what like I was like Jupiter I don't know how it works and so we're not going to it exactly what this color is just yet yeah but this is a color which you found on your system this was something else that the computer threw up but we we saw in comparison it was a bit dark yeah and I would agree these do look a little bit different and obviously it's always gonna be that way between pain and vinyl yeah it's a pretty pretty close match just right yes is it the search basically all the manufacturer colors so everything that you could basically find but then I also did a little bit of understand anyway hope you know you understand what topaz skin is this amazing product and I think enough chat enough cell let's go down here and check out the car in its newly painted color Howard she yeah I mean it's literally the same color light light and I'm saying that from a really good point of view yes you can see both of us it's crazy because such a tiny theoretically subtle change is transform the car I mean I think okay I think it's time for some serious b-roll on this beauty because yeah it needs to inside that toss yeah okay let's do it slow mode coming in three two one work on oh I can't count now don't get me wrong I am still a big fan a big advocate of vinyl wraps I've had a ton of them over the years and some of them have really blown me away and looked almost like paint but I don't think I can really use those words anymore having seen at the top her skin product in real life and on my own kite the best way to summarize it is take me in my obsession with Chester dollies right my dream spec challenge for dolly is a red also caused a car with a tan leather interior so in my mind I thought well one day when I might end up wanting to buy a chassis dolly I'm gonna have to wait forever for a rosso corsa tan leather car because there were so few of them made however there are quite a few TDF blue cars with tan leather interiors and also black cars with tan leather interiors topaz skin means that I could potentially buy one of those cars bring it to them have it skinned or painted in Rosso Corsa and have the car I'd always dreamed of looking like it left of the factory red that to me just because a vinyl wrap no matter how good and great it could be wouldn't ever look quite as nuts as this paint does it is just ridiculous it's not to say I will never vinyl wrap another car the cost is hugely different I will just say that I always have to be completely upfront with you that topaz have been amazing and helped me with the costs of this job because I know lots of you gonna be like I've painted a green card green have an eye but yeah I mentioned earlier that we won't even say exactly what color this is it is a tweaked variation so actually to put my own name or own name on this color but it's based on a rolls-royce olive so this is not a Porsche car this was a rock I've painted my Porsche of rolls-royce color just to try and bring it some extra class fundamentally it is a difference in price point and that is reflected in what you're actually purchasing but when you see this car up close I think it's gonna blow you away and hopefully in the videos and photos to come with this car out in the daylight and in America and all these different places I'm going to be you you could start to see just how stunning I believe it is anyway I hope you've enjoyed this video give it a thumbs up you have make sure the comment below let me know your thoughts and make sure to subscribe for any more videos to come so this is a competition Daytona so like the other one at the office but this is one of the factory cars and it was bought by Simon about 1975 and raced a little bit in the UK in
