What's Up Everybody: Sony Reveals New DualShock 4 Colors and Hard Drive Cover Colors

Ladies and gentlemen, it's your boy Simply Pipes here, and I've got some exciting news to share with you all. Sony has just revealed new dualshock 4 colors and a hard drive cover color that's sure to get your gaming setup looking fresh. It's a tongue twister, but let's break it down real quick. We have the gold, steel black, silver, and crystal as our new color options. The crystal one looks nice, reminiscent of old-school consoles like the Game Boy, which were known for their transparent designs. However, this one's coming out at a later date. But, really, the one that caught my attention is the gold one.

If you get the gold hard drive cover, man, you're just gonna be set. I have a black PS4, and the controller is black with gold accents - yeah, you gotta be matching big time. That one looks it, guys! It really does. Can't wait for this to come out for real; I'm definitely gonna get one. And of course, we've got other cover colors too: red, pink, lime, and purple. Honestly, I don't understand why Sony didn't release the pink and purple and lime dualshock 4 controllers - it is what it is. The gold one really got my attention, though.

Now that we've got our new color options out of the way, let's talk about the price. You'll set you back 60 dollars to play with the new dualshock 4 controllers, and the hard drive covers will cost you 20 dollars. That's pretty normal, I'd say, considering all the other gear Sony releases.

In terms of the North America and European release, Sony said that the first wave of new gear will be sold in gold and silver. That's what I like to hear! You know I'm gonna get the gold one - it's gonna be coming out on November 6th, which is around the corner at all. The crystal variant, like I mentioned before, is coming out on December 3rd.

These new colors remind me a little bit of the iPhone, where they had gold space gray and silver options. But um, let me know down in the comments what you guys think of these colors! Would you even pick one up? I definitely do need a new controller - my current one is just getting beat up right now.
