Sennheiser HD 200 PRO Headphones - Full Review

The Sennheiser HD 200 Pro: A Comprehensive Review

When it comes to finding the perfect pair of headphones, there are several factors to consider, including sound quality, comfort, and durability. In this review, we'll take a closer look at the Sennheiser HD 200 Pro, a popular choice among audio enthusiasts.

The first thing that caught our attention about these headphones was their impressive build quality. The cable is made of high-quality materials and has a sturdy design, making it less likely to break or get damaged easily. The weight of the headphones themselves is 184 grams, which may seem light for some users, but considering the length of the cable (approximately 6.5 feet) and the fact that it's attached to the headphones, we found this to be a reasonable weight.

The ear cups on the headphones are made of soft foam, covered with a pleather or fake leather finish material. While these materials seem nice and can provide a comfortable fit for extended periods of use, they may start to get warm after a while. On the other hand, the headband has a memory foam bottom and is covered in the same pleasure finish material as the ear cups. This combination provides exceptional comfort and softness on the head.

One notable feature of the Sennheiser HD 200 Pro headphones is their circumaural design, which means they're an over-the-air type of headphone. This design offers several benefits, including improved sound quality and increased comfort during extended listening sessions. The closed-back design also allows for easy use without the need for amplifiers or equalizers.

In terms of sound quality, the Sennheiser HD 200 Pro delivers impressive results. With an impedance of 32 ohms and a sound pressure output of up to 108 decibels, these headphones are capable of producing clear, crisp sounds with good bass response. The wide soundstage provides ample amounts of bass, treble, and other frequencies, making them suitable for various applications, including music listening, gaming, and recording.

One of the standout features of the Sennheiser HD 200 Pro is their customization options. By adjusting the equalization levels, users can achieve a brighter or more balanced sound profile to suit their preferences. The bass response is not overpowering, which makes these headphones an excellent choice for those seeking a clean and nuanced sound.

While the Sennheiser HD 200 Pro offers many benefits, there are some drawbacks to consider. The build quality could be improved, as the plastic materials used feel lightweight and less substantial than expected. Additionally, the fixed cable design means that users must take care when handling these headphones, as damage or breakage is possible.

Another aspect worth mentioning is the packaging. Although the headphones themselves come with a quarter-inch adapter, it's surprising that no case or soft carry pouch is included. For those who plan to use their headphones on-the-go, this may be a concern.

The Sennheiser HD 200 Pro was initially released in India back in January and became available at various retailers by the end of February. However, due to limited availability, it's still challenging for users outside of India to purchase these headphones online or through local markets.

In conclusion, the Sennheiser HD 200 Pro offers a compelling combination of sound quality, comfort, and customization options. While there are some drawbacks to consider, including build quality and cable design, these headphones remain an excellent choice for those seeking a reliable pair of audio tools.

"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enhey guys what's up this virus and today I'm going to be reviewing the new Sennheiser HD 201 iturra headphones that have been launched in India through price or 6490 let's get started neither HD 200 throat have been launched for rupee 6490 and are available in the US for about 69 US dollars they are extremely lightweight studio monitoring headphones that have been added to their budget line but they're not really very budget-friendly for a market like India but for 6490 are you getting your prices worth or are you getting your money's worth when you get these headphones we're going to discuss all of that in detail on this video so we start off with build quality the headphones are made entirely out of plastic they are extremely lightweight and weighing only at 184 grams they're not winning any awards in terms of looks or build quality but the plastic is really nice and will stretch quite a lot you give you a lot of headspace and stretching ability for the headbands making them not snap over extended periods of use they have tried to mimic a slightly designer's pattern on the outer side of the ear cuffs to give them a nicer and more classier look which does work for the headphones they are made out of a plastic which is matte in finish it's black color it looks extremely stealthy and for those looking for lightweight headphones that don't attract too much attention the HD 200 pro will definitely suit the bill the Sennheiser HD 280 metre longer about a six and a half feet long or tangle resistant cable which is a single sided cable it's already attached to the headphones and 184 gram weight is - the weight of the cable itself all in all even with the cable itself the headphones are not entirely heavy and stay comfortable even after extended periods of use now the ear cups on the headphones are made out of a soft foam which is covered by a pleather or a fake leather finish material which seems nice and can be worn for extended periods of time but does start to get warm a little bit the headband on the other hand has a memory foam bottom and is covered by a pleasure finish material similar to that on the ear but is extremely comfortable and soft on the head now like I said wearing these headphones for extended periods of time is not a problem but they do start to get a little warm for those who feel heat around their ears the headphones in themselves are a circumaural type of headphones which means that they're an over-the-air sort of design also adding to the additional comfort needed for those extended periods of listening the over-the-air design also helps you get a fuller sound and the closed back design also lets you use the headphones without a lot of tweaking using an amplifier or an equalizer on your PC or smartphone I saw the sound quality is concerned you do get an impedance of 32 ohms and you do get a sound pressure output of up to 108 decibels which is extremely loud for the kind of headphones they are you can simply plug these into your smart phone and listen to music from your playlist and enjoy a completely wide soundstage giving you ample amounts of bass treble as well as means now because it's the nature of the headphones they offer up a lot of customization ability so if you do know how to play around with those equalization levels you will be able to get a better or a brighter sound from the headphones in the way that you want them the bass is not overpowering like many headphones in this price bracket which means that you get a cleaner sound profile to play around with now there are a lot of pros and cons to these headphones first of all they're not extremely expensive especially in India they're priced almost at the same price as the US which makes them available at around 6500 in comparison to about the $70 price that the u.s. market has for these headphones so neither products are usually very good sounding and offer a really good warranty and service in India so all of those aspects put together make these a really good pair of headphones to consider if you're in the market for a new pair of headphones they're also versatile whether you want to use them in the studio or on the go all of those options are available to you there are a couple of downsides however I'm not a big fan of the build quality it's extremely plastic its lightweight it doesn't feel like a solid pair of headphones even though it's pretty solid and extremely flexible I'm also not a fan of the fact that the headphone cable is not detachable and fixed on the headphones that means if you end up damaging or destroying the cable you really need to take this to the service center and get it fixed or you need to go DIY on the cable itself they do include a quarter inch adapter inside the also those who need to plug this into a quarter inch port and overall the packaging and the overall package that you get with these headphones is pretty great one thing I would also like to see is a case or even a soft carry pouch included with these headphones for those of you who would like to take this out you'll need to get a nice case or just not care about the fact that you're just throwing these headphones in your bag because they should last the kind of damage that they will endure inside your bag another thing that I've noticed is that despite the fact that sin either launched these headphones back in January they were only available at the end of February in the indian market and even then we were not able to sign them online anywhere if you're in the US or any other global market I leave a link to buy these headphones in the description below for those looking for these headphones in India as soon as an Indian link comes up we'll pop it in the leave those in the comment section below you can also catch us on Facebook Twitter Google+ if you have not got yourself an igon t-shirt you can get one right now I leave a link to that in the
