The Carbon Smart Tab 8: A Gaming Disaster?

Hi guys, this is Aba for And today we're going to test the gaming abilities of the carbon Smart Tab 8 blocks. Let's quickly go through the specifications it comes with a 1.5 GHz dual Core processor coupled with 1 GB of RAM runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and it has an 8-inch display with a resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels.

Now, the device does have just 1.5 GB of internal storage, which hinders the gaming abilities of the device to a great extent. It's quite okay to expect a nice gaming performance on a tablet that comes with a dual core processor and 1 GB of RAM, but somehow the Smart Tab 8 tries and succeeds in proving us wrong.

There are many issues with the Smart Tab eight, and to start off we'll tell you about the responsiveness issue. Saying that it is quite bad would be an understatement; even a basic game like Temple Run showed quite an amount of lag while playing, and as you can see the responsiveness issue is quite evident. So let's try Glory on this device.

Glory, being a relatively simple game, was a good test to gauge the Smart Tab 8's performance. Unfortunately, it didn't fare well. The game struggled to run smoothly, with noticeable lag and unresponsiveness. This is a major concern for any gaming device, as it can be frustrating and disengaging.

In addition to the responsiveness issue, another problem with the Smart Tab 8 is its viewing angles. Even if you tilt the screen by an end, it'll be very hard for you to see what's going on at the screen. This means that playing games on this device will be a challenge, as the image quality will deteriorate significantly as you change your viewing position.

We didn't have much hope for smooth gameplay on the Smart Tab 8, and unfortunately, our expectations were confirmed. The responsiveness issues and poor viewing angles made it difficult to enjoy any game on this device. By the time we decided to move over to Dead Trigger, we thought that any game which ran with a minimum amount of lag on the Smart Tab 8 would be a consolation, but even Dead Trigger proved to be a challenge.

The sound levels on the Smart Tab 8 are also not great, and just like earlier games we played on this device, Dead Trigger 2 showed many jerks while playing. The game was far away from playing out smoothly, which made it difficult to enjoy. We don't think we even need to mention that top L games like Nova 3 were not compatible with the device.

Although we did manage to install Asphalt 7 on the Smart Tab 8, every time we tried to open it, it crashed while loading. This is a major concern for any gaming device, as it can be frustrating and disengaging. As far as gaming is concerned, Real Football 12 takes the uselessness of the device to a completely different level.

As you can see in the video, the controls do not fit the screen, and all you can do is stare at the screen and wonder what a waste of money. This is exactly what we experienced while playing Real Football 12 on the Smart Tab 8. The game was unresponsive, with poor controls that made it difficult to play.

In conclusion, if you're buying a tablet and you're going to spend much of your time playing games on your device, we recommend that you stay far, far away from the Smart Tab eight. Save some money and get a better tablet in the future. The Smart Tab 8 is not worth the investment for anyone who wants to enjoy smooth gaming performance.
