Shout Out to Jamie Hagger
Last week's question was about what's the fastest you've ever been in a car, and there were some brilliant answers. But um definitely winning was GTR GTR R33 who've done 217 miles an hour on an autobahn in a 1100 horsepower R33 GTR Skyline. Unbelievable but you didn't win, my friend Mr Jamie Hagger won because he did 1,000 miles an hour yes mac 1.6 flying a Tornado F3. You win sir, hats off absolutely awesome! This week's question was um basically what's the most impressive sleeper you have ever driven. I've got the Audi S8 this week and it is the ultimate sleeper. It looks really slow but my goodness is it fast.
Portuguese Formula 1 Mr Hamilton
You are now the winner of the most grand prix wins in history, 92 grand prix wins. Does that make Lewis Hamilton the greatest of all time? There's a big debate going on at the moment. He is clearly right up there. Certainly in the top three but we do have more races each season than they did in the past. Someone said if Sterling Moss would have had to basically win every race for 10 years to get anywhere near 92 wins, but he's certainly right up there.
SSC Tuatara Speed Run
Last week we talked about the SSC Tuatara's massively impressive speed run. This week where have you been? If you haven't seen some of the videos Tim posted a brilliant video just asking some serious questions about the validity of that speed run. I'll put a link above um literally an hour before watching this, I've just watched Misha's video, I'll put a link to that as well because there are some questions to be answered. That's for sure.
No New Car News
This week no new car news but I wanted to give a massive shout out to my good buddies Paul and Tiff at Love Cars because finally they've been able to announce that they have a TV show coming to ITV4 called "Love Cars on the Road". The first episode airs on Thursday, the 12th of November, at 8pm. Tune in people because honestly, I think it's gonna be the next Top Gear or Grand Tour. It is absolutely amazing, six one-hour episodes and so I've known about it for a long time, I haven't been able to say anything. Congratulations guys.
BMW M440i
I was guessing of BMW and Mini UK uh at a press day last week and got to drive the GP3 and it is a sensational car. So in Friday's video, I asked a very simple question do I regret cancelling my order. But while we're on the conversational topic of BMW and Mini, I have to show you this because literally five minutes before I was due to film this, I got a knock on the door and said you've had a parcel delivered and I've had a parcel delivered from BMW wishing me a happy Oktoberfest.
BMW UK
And i have to say I'm so taken aback by it includes a massive oktoberfest cookie but you guys know me, I do like my beer. I've also got a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic Vice Beer, so I shall be tucking into that this evening, courtesy of BMW UK. Guys you are legends, thank you very much. The support you give to my channel is hugely appreciated channels like mine don't we just can't exist without access to cars and access to incredible events, and you have um been very kind to me over the last 18 months or so, so huge huge thank you.
Legacy Legends Mug
But um don't forget the first comment on my Mini GP3 video on Friday or sorry, the first two hours any comments in the first two hours, you will be with a chance of winning this. I'll put your name in the next Legacy Legends mug. And uh you will be in with a chance of winning this lovely little Mini.
The Midweek 180
This has been the longest mid-week 180 in the history of mid-week 180s but I think you'll see, I'm evolving the format slightly. But anyway guys, I hope you enjoyed that one if you have done so please give me a thumbs up. Comments below are always welcome and if you haven't done so already, please subscribe to PetroPod for plenty more content to come.
Vice Beer
I'm now going to go and crack open this Vice beer. Happy Oktoberfest everyone! I'll see you on the next video. You take care drive safe. Oh hold on if you're going to drive safe, you need to drink this one because it's got no alcohol in it. See you on Friday guys six o'clock GP3 don't miss it.
