In our latest review, we put the Soundcore Boom 2 Plus to the test and were impressed by its performance. a lot of padding each side for the speaker and a bit of a gap either side there that's good and this is our quick start guide we have a type c to type c cable and then here on the left this is our shoulder strap so you can sling it over your shoulder and carry it around that way then it's really powerful 140 WS with some groundbreaking base for the size of it the boom2 plus really does deliver in the base department and I'll give you a sample of that later on and that is thanks to its dual 4.5 woofers that it has and it does have dual tweeters has an active crossover and the frequency response is from 40 HZ to 20 khz for Rich sound very clear highs they're nice and crisp and it also does have a party mode so you can connect up an additional well 99 speakers 100 in total or just a second one to per it up for a twws stereo experience so each side of them has passive radiators and you see these working really hard with those especially those deep based tracks going in and out moving a lot now these are 99,100 100 mm so they are very large radiators to give that stable base output and then we have the synced light show either side so we got eight unique lighting effects it's customizable these colors via the application and you can sync it with the music using sound cause algorithm along the tops our obvious controls there so the power Bluetooth we have the metor control here volume up and down this is for the LEDs and this here is our base Up 2.0 Buton button so very important this one and I'll demonstrate it later on the difference it does make then along the back you'll see the sound core logo there now the Plastics they have used very durable nice matte coating to it and it will handle drops no problems now there is a gasket right here that does State boom 2 plus now you do need to keep this gasket in place to retain that waterproof rating which is ipx7 behind that you'll find the 3.5 mm in we have a type-c port there for charging and it can charge up to 30 W runtime is up to 20 hours so that is ultra long for a portable Bluetooth speaker finally along the bottom of the boom 2 plus there are four solid rubber feet overall the build quality is excellent It's a strong solid sturdy finish to the whole thing and it is waterproof so let's put that to the test ipx7 is mentioned but it will also float so you don't have to worry about it too much if you accidentally drop it in a swimming pool but I'm going to throw it in let's see what happens all right here we go now of course I don't recommend doing this for fun but if it was an accident you accidentally did that and whoops no my speaker well there we go it floats and you can easily go and just recover that quickly now because of the pool chemicals and everything yeah I will definitely be rinsing that speaker down but fine let's see if it works though now so we just rinse it down a little here wash off any of that choring and then turn it on so push on on my other phone
