**A Hands-on Review of the OnePlus 7 Pro: A Budget-Friendly Flagship Alternative**
As I spent some time with the OnePlus 7 Pro, I couldn't help but feel that this phone is a perfect example of what happens when you take a flagship device and make it more affordable. The OnePlus 7 Pro is an Android-based smartphone that boasts impressive specs at a price that's significantly lower than its competitors.
One of the standout features of the OnePlus 7 Pro is its versatility. Unlike many smartphones, which often come with redundant apps, the OnePlus 7 Pro gives you only the apps that you need and none of the ones that you don't. This results in a more streamlined user experience, making it easier to navigate through your phone's features.
I was particularly impressed by the stock-like experience that comes with using the OnePlus 7 Pro. The UI is clean and intuitive, making it easy to access the apps and features that you need. The device also feels very pure Android, with none of the bloatware or unnecessary apps that can slow down your phone's performance.
The camera on the OnePlus 7 Pro is another area where it shines. With three cameras, including a pop-up camera, this smartphone takes stunning photos and videos. The screen is also one of the standout features of this device, with a crisp and vibrant display that's perfect for watching videos or browsing through your favorite apps.
One of the things that I was curious about while using the OnePlus 7 Pro was how it compares to other devices that I use, particularly Apple-based ones. While there are some differences in terms of user experience, I found that the OnePlus 7 Pro offers a similar fluidity and responsiveness as my iPhone.
However, when it comes to features and functionality, the OnePlus 7 Pro often falls short. For example, while its screen is fantastic, the video quality is not quite up to par with what I've experienced on my iPhone or iPad. Additionally, multitasking can be a bit tricky on this device, although the screen real estate is well utilized for watching videos or enjoying apps.
Despite these minor quibbles, the OnePlus 7 Pro remains an excellent choice for those looking for a budget-friendly flagship alternative. With its impressive specs, clean UI, and high-quality camera, this smartphone offers great value for money. If you're in the market for a new phone and are willing to make a compromise on certain features, the OnePlus 7 Pro is definitely worth considering.
**Pricing: A Steal at $669**
One of the most surprising things about the OnePlus 7 Pro is its price tag. While it's significantly lower than many flagship devices on the market, the specs are almost identical. The device starts at $669 for a base model with 256GB storage and three cameras.
In my opinion, this is an incredible deal for anyone looking for a budget-friendly flagship alternative. With the OnePlus 7 Pro, you're getting a phone that's packed with features and functionality, including a pop-up camera, 90Hz refresh rate display, fingerprint sensor, and Android 10 out of the box.
**Conclusion: A Great Option for Budget-Conscious Buyers**
Overall, I'm thoroughly impressed with the OnePlus 7 Pro. It's a great example of what can be achieved when you take a flagship device and make it more affordable. With its impressive specs, clean UI, and high-quality camera, this smartphone offers great value for money.
If you're in the market for a new phone and are looking for a budget-friendly option that still packs a punch, the OnePlus 7 Pro is definitely worth considering. Just be aware of the minor compromises on certain features, such as video quality and multitasking capabilities.
"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enOh God this is so exciting okay you ready what's going on y'all check me out here and in this video this will be the first iteration of the tech T series that I have been talking about yes sip your tea on that note right I know when I first presented the idea it was more like check tea you know tea meaning new so tech news was the approach of it but I wanted to use it more as an umbrella to kind of do other things as well such as the tech team with the non techie but I know the yeah the title is you know still under work so that's the gist of it we're basically in this video I'm gonna present my friend here everyday cachet with the device that she has not used and may not even know anything about and get her perspective of it so this is also you tuber you can kind of give a quick summary of what you do on YouTube yeah a few different fun segments of wine caches kickstand primarily my channel focuses on plus-size fashion awesome so of course her info is gonna be linked down below before we begin can you give everybody on a scale of one to ten one being not techy at all and 10 being very techie where would you fit on that scale hasn't given the explanation you might want no I think I can stick with seven okay I have an interest in technology and and I think you know because technology do something that I use everyday I'm not completely oblivious oblivious or ignorant to technology and the experience with Android all right so in that case let's get this started y'all this is the phone in question today so I'm gonna hand you the phone okay first question of course cachet is what phone are you holding do you know I am holding an Android user okay great good job good job do you know what model of one plus is one plus it is the one plus one place and it is the one plus seven Pro there we go there we go yes alright so you have that any it doesn't ring a bell oh no it doesn't but I also don't know if my mic is ringing a bell so I should probably check to make sure if you hear a shift in the audio you know why this is the first run y'all it's nice because I knew better right I knew I needed to - people are probably watching their life right - right do you know anything about the 1 + 7 throw no I actually you could take it out the case and give us your opinion of what it feels like in hand so I mean it feels pretty good it feels pretty sleek mm-hmm I like I really love this color on the back it's called nebula blue so let's I guess go ahead and unlock the phone and dive a little bit deeper and I will do that for you actually because I haven't set her up in the phone of course but I do want you to observe how unlock this phone okay I can unlock it with what's known as an in screen fingerprint reader so most phones have a fingerprint reader that's physical button this one has a built in the screen boom I very quick 0.21 seconds what do you think of the display as you're looking at it first impressions oh this wallpaper is rugged but it also feels like this green is kind of covering like from edge to edge feels like it's wrapping around which is pretty good uh-huh also I'll admit do you like it more than your iPhone first impression of it like okay I'm insulting my bad not okay okay okay okay but also I think this is really cool because it is it's awesome new right yeah so now notice there's no in screen sensors did you notice that like there's no camera work or anything like that it's just all display it's just all display yeah I didn't notice that all right so when you first get a phone what is one thing that you like to test out other than of course how it feels in hand but what would be that next thing you probably would dive into I mean of course and you're gonna test the selfies like I want to be able to take a good photo with with my phone sad knickknacks but that in the music yes I need to hear what my music is gonna sound like let's test Boesel both of those things and while we're at it let us know down below in the comment section what do you like to test out first when you get your phone let's test out the camera and see how your selfie game is did you observe anything happening well do that it looked like something changed with the lighting as though we're like trying to find the right light for me all right let's try it again let's flip the camera no man okay observe the phone but the camera as you saw there does eject from the phone because you don't have the sensors at the top to hold it so that's a pretty cool feature but I'll let you go ahead and take your selfie now let's actually take one with your iPhone okay challenge challenge okay I'll see you use a different angle on the iPhone this one is why all right now cross compare do you favor one over the other and looking at it on your phone in terms of the clarity not per se the pose and such but they look like the fact that I was able to hold it in this orientation and it caught both sides of the background but but I do I think if I had to choose one period I'm gonna choose the 1 + 1 + 7 press ok so you like the wide angle in the lighting okay so with the selfie cam we've tested that let's try the rear facing camera so the rear facing camera on the 1 + 7 Pro is 48 megapixels ok now when you hear those terms or that term what does that mean to you megapixels in some way means clarity yes we were never rolling I press the record button you saw it was whinge why you always lying oh my god it was did it bump something she's gonna put me in the negative on my tech right there now down what so uh bye no no your pork at least I can do math so we're gonna flip the camera around okay we're going to slip it away okay all right even with this no how's that you notice when you do that it does go back any checks when you're needed and then it goes back it I'm sorry cuz J really feeling like I'm at a three right now y'all be nice you shame you could take a photo of anything maybe the color right mm-hmm whatever you'd like to take with the rear facing good what was with my cute or whatever y'all know that mean what are we leading up to cachet what do you like better again so keep in mind these are initial camera tests all right so initial camera test from caches perspective the one plus seven Pro those four has impressed her yeah all right now cachet if you could physically flip the phone around oh yeah there you go what do you observe on the back there in the section where the cameras are there are a lot of cameras yes there are would appear to be three and then this looks like a flash of some sort yeah so how did you observe there there are three cameras on the back so that means you now have the ability to switch between three so you have an ultra-wide you have a main camera which is 48 megapixels telephoto yep at the bottom these three symbols signaling by which yep exactly okay so you could see how that could be useful especially if you're out you're traveling and you want to capture some more photos you're not limited as much as you may be with other phones I'm just saying that I'm just saying I'm just saying with other folks so that is the camera the next thing you said you wanted to test that was the speakers right yes so let's test those speakers that right band spread the video so it takes up the entire okay so speakers sound good speakers sound good all right looks good mm-hmm I think it looks better than it sounds okay well you know I'd give it like a B a B okay fair enough I could agree to that yeah so on this particular phone you have a four thousand milliamp battery does that mean anything to you that lowered battery this is that that part goes right now okay I really didn't usually mean that that means good battery but I don't know what the medic measures are what phone do you have your personal phone is a what an iPhone 10 s max all right let's go to Google and search iPhone 10 s max battery so the iPhone connects nineties is almost 32 hundred milliamps whereas this one plus semi-pro is four thousand so you know math four thousand is greater than 31 or 32 hundred so this has a larger battery so that means battery life should be better on this than your phone technically but only usage would be able to really confirm right yeah yeah not only does it have a big battery but it also has something known as warped charge and you had to guess what that meant if someone were to say has warped charging now I'm gonna imagine that it's gonna charge so it charges up within two two minutes we've been doing a little bit of navigation it has a six point sixty seven inch AMOLED display so it's gonna have those really vibrant colors so that's what okay this is meant by that statement the other thing that it has is a 90 Hertz refresh rate so are you familiar what that means at all not unless we're talking about like when you open an app publicly it refreshes or like how quickly know which goes back to maybe what current task it was doing more like how fast you can navigate so it's that and more okay so it's just navigation as a whole everything should be really responsive really snappy now another feature that's built into the phone is known as Zen mode okay so and hearing that what would that kind of mean to you I would imagine that zoom mode is something that I'd want to do if I were practicing like yoga or trying to meditate or if I were trying to like Dubai about our children right it's a tap into that it allows you to do that because it puts your phone in the state for a specific amount of time where you cannot use it so it allows you to detach from your technology so that you can enjoy your surroundings like if we're out to eat and you're on your phone too much and you are having you can put it in Zen mode so that it will make your phone inoperable basically and only you let allow you to do like emergency calls and things like that yeah I'm not a fan I'm not a fan and I haven't experienced it so I'm I feel very differently after I experienced I need discipline but but so if we were at dinner like I'm more of a person that's gonna want to play the game like put your phone in the bed whoever touches those for their phone first then they're paying for dinner like those are the kind of you know but I don't know that I want my device to have that type of conjecture so the operating system in which you're using and have been using on the phone is known as oxygen OS so when you compare that our Android and general to iPhones do you know like one of the main differences outside when it comes to that ecosystem type of things iPhone is gonna give you basically when you open it up you have one of each app it gives you the apps that you need and joy this sometimes known to give you duplication of apps because it has the phone manufacturer apps and Google's apps so you might have Google notes along with Samsung notes but with oxygen OS it's more of an iOS like experience because you don't have that redundancy now Touche any questions about the oneplus one pearl is you also observe it charges via USB see I didn't know that it's hard via PC I mean I think as a as a level between the level 4 and a 7 user those are all the questions that naturally I would probably ask you about the function of my of my phone I'm curious because I know that you also use other devices and their loans how does this second to the other devices that you use I like it I like especially because I am you know iOS based on a lot of things that I use or Apple based on a lot of things that I use I like the fluidity on the oneplus 7 pro and I like the the was third the stock like experience that we talked about I like the fact that it's very very pure Android experience the cameras decent the audio for video not so much but the video quality is okay I love the screen that really gets me every time and the camera pop-up never gets old so I really enjoy it for an Android based experience I'll say that you made me compare between my iPhone and the 7 pro ah as tired as the team that's tight for the simple fact that I love the features of the 7 plus pro because it really makes me feel productive with the screen real estate and the way that I'm able to maximize that screen real estate with the apps on the phone from enjoying videos or into being able to multitask because I'm a multitasker I love the fact that I can watch a video and tight I cannot do that on iOS no matter how much I want to I can do it on an iPad but I can't do it on my iPhone I really wish I could but that's one thing I really like about it I like it but the thing is with any Android based device really is that sometimes disconnect that you feel when you pair it with your other Apple devices your ecosystem of Apple devices it breaks it you know so you gotta find the way to kind of make them work together which is to utilize things like Google calendars and music that will work on all so it can be tricky but it's all based on I feel like if you're really deep in the Apple ecosystem it's gonna be hard to switch hopefully that answers your question yeah a good fit that's the tactic okay Cheers all right so of course after we talked about the device we got to share the price what would you guess be how much do you think this phone is I'm gonna go right at or under a thousand dollars $9.99 yeah well go like 949 Wow you will be shocked to know that cuz it more expensive it's six comer 69 $669 yes for a 256 gig base model three cameras in screen fingerprint sensor ninety Hertz all these terminals on billion I know we're probably speaking on that $669 is nothing no let's be coming it's not cheating just having you know just sitting there right quite easy to grab at some prep Wow blast me way more right especially with Magnum oh yes especially with specs that are almost in line with or if not in line with more expensive devices and I'll leave in there I'll leave in there so if you're looking for a budget phone that's really not a budget phone but it's you know if you're looking for a phone that's a little bit more affordable with you know kind of flagship like specs yeah definitely a grab if you need something that's economically friendly with some some great features either way you're still breaking out cheaper what I'm paying for my iPhone oh my god everyone I hope you enjoyed this first iteration of a tech team say are you switching I'm not switching so she's not switching y'all fair enough but you now know a little bit more about your options your an option if you chose to switch and I mean it was a hard contender on those photo jumps so I'm gonna have some more information links below about the oneplus 7 pro down below in the description box as well as caches info and some other videos and just goodies that you may all like that was a button if you enjoy this and if you have some feedback for me regarding what I could do better are different in the next episode of the tech team don't hesitate to drop that down below just be kind be nice be nice okay alright the block button is real alright y'all you're gonna wrap it up here we're gonna drag out a little bit more yeah as always thanks for taking the time out to let us Tech t us oh yeah yeahOh God this is so exciting okay you ready what's going on y'all check me out here and in this video this will be the first iteration of the tech T series that I have been talking about yes sip your tea on that note right I know when I first presented the
