As You Enter the Game Room: The Initial View

A dresser, which was once part of my old room, has been repurposed and is now filled with games, a duster, ping-pong balls, and other fun items. in my old room but now we've repurposed it here and I've we've gotten games and my little duster that I keep up here so that I don't have to go all the way downstairs to dust up here and we've got extra like ping-pong balls and we've got like kinds of games in here there's more games in here and more games and this is what the little Center kind of looks like this is not tilted correctly because you know how kids are so I got a fixed dot and that actually turns on but the battery may don't know it's still I mean I could probably do so much more with this area I just haven't gotten around to it usually I have a ton of candy piled up so maybe by the time this video is going up I'll like insert a picture of like what this looks like with all the candy but that's about it I did want to film at night because it's just easier to see these posters but here's the ping-pong table which my daughter her friends use all the time this is just a fun little game you put like a ping-pong type of ball in here and it pops and then the other person tries to catch it and it was really inexpensive I actually got it on Amazon but it's really fun apparently that is another game back there so I'll take you there it is called hooky and I also found this on Amazon here is named cookie and then those are just the rolls because it's new and we really don't know how to play it but you basically like toss those up and you get certain points I'm assuming for where what number it lands on all right so now we'll take a look at all of the posters which is probably my favorite thing in this whole room and it's all 80s theme I think jaws was made in the 80s I'm really not sure it might be 70s but it's probably 80s I'll have to look but we've got risky business with Tom Cruise love it and we have the infamous Breakfast Club love it and we have of course my all-time favorite childhood movie The Goonies and then of course we have jaws and I picked each poster for certain reasons so like my daughter hand-picked some of the ones that she really wanted The Breakfast Club was one that she really really wanted and then I wanted to incorporate jaws because I wanted something that was very like a classic and you know almost everyone knows it so that's why I picked jaws so that's that then over here is really nothing new at all I mean this is my furniture from my old house it was in my living room if you guys recognize it but it has been obviously repurposed in the game room and I love that because it's an old piece it's easy to clean if the kids spill which you know how teenagers can be if you have teenagers it's the same lamp for my last house and this is the chaise lounge that was also my last house and it really works because it provides a lot of seating and a lot of room for them to for the girls to spend the night so that's like an extra bed and that's an extra bed so and then the Ottoman there's a set of blankets over there and then of course here is the TV Center as you can see the colors aren't rotating to the TV and chassé her playstation she has all her movies she doesn't have cable up here so this is what the TV looks like when we have the LED lights on right now they are set to rotate through different colors but we can actually just set one color at a time if we wanted to it's about to turn purple which is really cool yeah so that's what it looks like it's a really fun effect and I really like it for game rooms I think it's really cool let's see if it's gonna turn the other color I think that's just white that's kind of scary that's a little poltergeist for me and ped um it's still cool B for me it's kind of hard to like see the effect cuz I'm not there we go red is really cool too so that is just what it looks like at night it's actually another day but I wanted to show you guys what the snack Center look like it's nothing overly special I've just stocked the boxes of candy here and then I have these jars they are from Dollar Tree and they have goodies in them some of the goodies are from Dollar Tree um but I like to buy them from Walmart because they're actually two cents cheaper and so that really does add up because I do stock this little Center often and this is just kind of what it looks like I still need to do quite a bit in this room I do want to add like a little bit more decor right here this is kind of the entryway and I don't have anything on this wall not that I need to put stuff in every space I'm probably gonna leave that wall alone but again there are the movie posters which looks fabulous and for Halloween I'm actually switching them out I already have posters that I'm going to get off of Amazon for Halloween so I'm excited about those so if you want to see what those posters are just let me know but there's the puppy I don't know if I pointed out the little over the door basketball hoop which all the kids love to play and yeah this is just kind of what it looks like in the daytime there's a ping-pong table which actually needs to be cleaned and then you guys already saw these posters here sorry for the glare it's just honestly the cheapness of the frames but we're talking about teenagers here so I'm a I purposely wanted cheap frames because I just did not want to spend so much money on movie frames because they're very expensive I mean we're talking about seven posters so I'm fine with it but because they are cheap you can like see the glare because it's not really like glass it's like um plastic I don't even know if that would make a difference if it was something a lot more expensive but I'm really glad I got this piece up here provides them more seating and when the girls spend the night I think I mentioned this before it just gives them like more room to like more places to sleep and I know I put carpet on top of carpet but I'm glad I did because they do spill stuff so but yeah this is what it looks like and for Christmas I'm probably gonna know for Christmas I'm probably going to decorate up here as well I'm probably gonna decorate that banner and I don't know if I'm gonna like put up a small tree in here or not do you like it pumpkin okay I don't know oh and I don't know if I mentioned this is just like a basket of like extra snacks in here these are from Dollar Tree so cities and then I keep extra goodies in here as well so and then this is just a jar full of ping pong so you'd be amazed at how they get lost I don't know how otherwise my daughter loves this room I love this room I love that I was able to still keep my old furniture so I'm really glad how it everything worked out she looks like a regal Queen you dismissed in a crown okay you are just missing that crown on your head alright guys so that is my game room tour I hope that you enjoyed it I hope that you kind of like the look I mean everything in here is furniture that I've had for years upon years really the only thing that's new are the posters and the ping pong table so yeah I mean or and that little movie piece of art but other than that everything I've pretty much had so I love how this huge room has turned out I've had stuff to fill it with so
