The iPhone 8 Lineup is Fully Featured with iOS 16

Everything is fully featured here, so if you compose an email and you long press on the send arrow, here you have the schedule send as you can see right here. You have several suggestions or send later whenever it is that you want. And once you send that out, you also have the option to undo send as well. Okay, so just keep in mind you'll be able to do that as well and of course, you have the ability to remind you later which is super cool. So let's go ahead and send this one here and show you those options. Right there it is, undo send. You have the option to do that quickly here if you want to do that, you can edit the email. So everything is fully featured in the emails application. So you have nothing to worry about there.

Next, I want to shift my attention over into the Messages app. There's quite a bit of improvements to messages we have. The unsend a message so you can delete a message that you've already sent. You can also edit a sent message right there on iMessage and you have the ability to remind you later or mark as unsend as well. So we can swipe over on the thread marked as unread as you can see right here, and get back to it later. We also have the ability as I mentioned to actually edit a message after has been sent so you have to obviously long press on the actual message and you get those options to actually edit the message right there it is. We can add the emoji or we can go ahead and also remove the message altogether.

In regards to some of the bigger features coming to the iPhone within the Messages this is fully featured on iPhone 8. You can unsend, edit text right there after it's been sent, and of course, mark as unread now you also have the new audio experience here so you can send audio messages rather than iPhone or Android device that's also featured here for iPhone 8.

So I'm happy to report that in the Messages application everything pretty much that most users have been wanting and some of the latest updates are coming to the iPhone 8 lineup. Now let's talk about the Lock Screen. As we know the lock screen received one of its biggest updates in a very, very long time. And of course if you long press here you have the ability to customize your lock screen. You can add a new one now I've noticed that there's only one thing missing here and I've noticed I don't know if this is a bug or not but right there where it says weather we have the weather available right there. The weather lock screen is available but if we go to add the astronomy, it isn't available so those earth wallpapers are not available here.

So let me show you on iPhone 13 what this looks like again I'm not sure if this is a bug but it's not featured here on iPhone 8. You see these astronomy right here the wallpapers for the earth in the moon these wallpapers appear to not be available on the iPhone 8 lineup. I'm not sure why because we do have everything else like the depth effects available here. The wallpapers everything is here, we also have the widgets which are available here for the iPhone 8 lineup as well. For whatever reason the astronomy ones are just not available but other than that everything else in regards to the wallpapers and the lock screen customization features for iPhone 8 is coming with iOS 16.

Only the astronomy wallpapers are just not available for some reason maybe a bug maybe apple is planning to add those later but right now it doesn't look like you're going to get those. But other than that, some of the big features including the privacy features are also here. So if we go to family here and we go to family checklist these features are fully available for you on iPhone 8 which is super important obviously.

And if we go into privacy here apple is new safety check is available of course this is a big one so it is available on iPhone 8 I'm happy to see this emergency reset and manage shared and access is available for safety checking iOS 16. Other than that, you're not really missing out on a whole lot just minor things here and there but those are some of the most important ones and as you can see it really isn't that big of a deal. the processing power here but yeah that feature is not coming to the iphone 8 lineup however what you are getting with iphone 8 and io 16 for photos is the ability to lock hitting and recently deleted photos with touch id so you'll now have the ability to lock those in there with touch id right there with the iphone 8 so only one thing that's missing here in photos and i would say it would be that
