Apple Pay on iPhone 5, 5c, 5s using Apple Watch

How to Set Up Apple Pay on Your iPhone 5, 5s, or 5c with Your New Apple Watch

If you've just bought a brand new Apple watch, you might be wondering how to set up Apple pay, also known as Apple's mobile payment system. Fortunately, it's easier than ever to get started, even if you're using an older iPhone model like the iPhone 5, 5s, or 5c.

To begin, launch the Apple watch application on your device and scroll down to where it says "Passbook" and "Apple Pay". From there, click on "Add a Credit or Debit Card". This will allow you to add a credit card to your iPhone, which is a required step for using Apple pay. You can then proceed by clicking "Next", which will prompt you to choose whether you want to use the credit card that's already stored in your iTunes account.

If this is the first time opening up the application, it may ask if you want to use the credit card with that you have on file. If so, it will set up and verify the information with your bank using text or email. Alternatively, if you're adding a separate credit card, you'll need to scan it just like you would with any other credit card.

To add your credit card to Apple pay, you'll also need to verify the information with your bank through your phone. This may involve sending a text or receiving an email with verification codes or instructions. Once you've completed these steps, you're ready to use your Apple pay-enabled iPhone 5, 5s, or 5c on your new Apple watch.

The process of setting up Apple pay on your iPhone 5, 5s, or 5c is relatively straightforward, and it's a great way to take advantage of the latest mobile payment technology. To use Apple pay with your new Apple watch, simply double tap on the sleep and wake button, which will prompt your credit card to be ready for use. Then, hold your iPhone near the payment terminal to complete the transaction.

One of the best things about using Apple pay on your iPhone 5, 5s, or 5c with your new Apple watch is that you don't need a newer iPhone model to set it up and get started. This means that anyone who's invested in an older iPhone can still take advantage of this convenient payment system.
