**Apple iPhone 16 Pro Review**
The Apple iPhone 16 Pro has finally arrived, and it's packed with exciting features that make it a top contender in the smartphone market. One of the standout features of this device is its camera capabilities. The iPhone 16 Pro boasts an Ultra-smooth playback feature that allows users to play back footage at an incredible speed, whether it's fast-forwarding through mundane scenes or capturing stunning slow-motion moments. This feature can be accessed by shooting and then deciding which playback style suits the user's needs.
The iPhone 16 Pro also features improved audio mixing with noise cancellation for video recordings, allowing users to isolate voices using advanced algorithms. This means that podcasters, YouTubers, and vloggers will appreciate the enhanced audio quality, making their content sound more professional and polished. Additionally, the new mics added to the Pro Models provide a range of options for audio enhancement, including Distortion, synth, and pedal Fest Studio, which add extra noise cancelling and gain to enhance the overall audio experience.
Another significant update is Apple's AI-powered virtual assistant, Siri. With the introduction of iOS 18.1 later this year, Siri has received several upgrades that make it more intuitive and effective than ever before. The new animation for Siri is a welcome change, making the interface more visually appealing. Moreover, Siri can now work while using the phone as well as not being stopped by sudden interruptions or changing mind mid-request. This makes it more convenient to interact with Siri without any hassle.
Furthermore, Apple has integrated Siri with chat GPT technology, enabling better question-answering abilities and access to contextual information from messages and emails. For instance, users can ask Siri about their upcoming flight or an order from a website, provided that the necessary details are available in an email or message.
The iPhone 16 Pro also features writing tools, which allow users to select text and interact with it using AI-powered features. The proofreading and summarizing options are particularly useful for triaging notifications, making it easier to focus on important messages. Additionally, transcribing voice notes and phone calls alerts both parties involved before recording, ensuring compliance with laws.
Some of the other exciting features that have been introduced in the iPhone 16 Pro include Cleanup, which allows users to erase unwanted content; Image Playground, which generates images; and Emoji, which enables users to create their own custom emojis to share between iOS users. While some of these features may seem redundant or unnecessary to some users, they demonstrate Apple's commitment to innovation and pushing the boundaries of what smartphones can do.
**Battery Life**
One area where the iPhone 16 Pro excels is in its battery life. The screen time and usage for today are displayed, showing that the phone was used extensively, including a real-world test day where the camera was used extensively. However, another comparison shows a non-real-world test day, providing an alternative perspective on battery performance. Overall, the battery life seems solid, with slight improvements compared to last year's model.
**Conclusion**
In conclusion, the Apple iPhone 16 Pro is an impressive device that offers a range of exciting features and capabilities. From its incredible camera capabilities to advanced AI-powered features like Siri, the iPhone 16 Pro has something for everyone. Whether you're a content creator, a business user, or simply someone looking for a top-notch smartphone experience, the iPhone 16 Pro is definitely worth considering.

"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enmorning another day another re World test today we're doing on the Apple iPhone 16 Pro and for reasons that will become clear shortly I apologize for how long it's taking me to get out videos I'm trying to get caught up though as for the usual though we will explore while while we test out this phone but first things first coffee check and welcome to Coffee check as if I'm not busy enough I spent the last 8 months designing and building a coffee shop Coffee Roastery and production space that you can rent out here in Greenpoint Brooklyn I'm sorry for the delay in me making videos and content lately but well here's why now at the coffee shop we have espresso drinks multiple machas from a great supplier killer ches and teas from another we bake pastries here we just started doing pour-overs we have cold brew Etc I'm trying my best to do this proper now if you're in New York City come check it out I already have an amazing team of Baristas here to help you with whatever you need and if you're not here I actually also partnered with a local rer while I wait for the permits for my own Roastery to create a medium light roast that we actually use as our main drip coffee here and you can buy some of that yourself from the link below and let me know what you guys think I really appreciate the support I'll definitely be making more roasts once I can roast in here in The Roaster and we'll eventually do a video tour of the place and put that here on YouTube as well but in the meantime I apologize if you've already seen me explain this in the last video and the fact that I'm going to be featuring the coffee shop in the next few videos as well just for a bit promise we'll get back to exploring other places soon thank you again though for your support okay now the iPhone 16 Pro looks and feels very similar to last year same matte glass backs on both shiny rails titanium frame that makes them lighter than the 14 series was the screen is the same 120 HZ display as last year with the same Peak brightness but this year it gets a lower brightness down to one knit from two knits and that just means it gets dimmer when it's dark to save power and not bother your partner in bed let's say the phone does however have a slightly larger display this year having a 6.3in display versus the 6.1 in of last year now some of this is down to smaller bezels the smallest of any Apple device Apple touts but also the phones are a hair larger in width and height honestly I like the more screen look and don't mind the nominal size increase it's about 3 and 1 mm gain in each Direction there is also a negligible weight gain for both devices this year but it's nothing you'd notice even holding them side by side honestly besides that we lose the blue titanium color which I did like a lot for a new color of desert titanium which very much reminds me of the iPhone 10s back in the day that had a similar color personally I would probably go for that desert or the natural myself and thanks to today's sponsor H's new gimbal you can get a much more Compact and way less expensive setup for St shots and it has some super unique features actually too first for something super unique about it it has a magnetic AI tracking camera with a built-in fill light that you can use have it track you in the frame instead of using whatever gimbal company's inferior camera app on your phone like a lot of other companies force you to do this is actually a big deal to me personally as that means I can use the native camera app to take the photos or record video or any app for that matter that I prefer and that AI tracking camera has also been upgraded for even better tracking it has a new locking design that lets it be swapped 180° so you can use it for both the front and the rear cameras on your phone and you can actually use a few different hand gestures to turn tracking on and off adjust the framing for the tracking if you say want to not be in the center the gimbal itself is capable of three AIS stabilization also has a built-in extension rod and clever little tripod legs that are well hidden when not in use unlike others that have them hanging from the bottom adding a necessary size it's also foldable and packs down to a very small footprint that plus the fact that it is the first gimbal with a proper remote control that you can use to not just start and stop recording but fully control the gimbal itself makes it great even for solo filming and travel to learn more about the I steady V3 check it out at the link below and thanks a home for sponsoring this video this street is one of the few here in Greenpoint that was actually landmarked together in 1982 as the Greenpoint historic district the development of the area began in 1832 when naiah Bliss acquired land in Greenpoint and brought ship building to the neighborhood in the 1850s ship building became one of the most prominent Industries in Brooklyn with Greenpoint at its epicenter as the ship building industry grew so did Greenpoint and most of the homes in what is now the historic district were built by and for the men working here building ships it said that the workers here built much of the country's 19th century Merchant Navy and the first ever ironclad warship the USS monitor was built here too it's interesting to see actually that as Greenpoint grew with the industry just how the residents built their homes in their own vernacular Styles AKA with the materials that they had available at the time and how a lot of that architecture is preserved here and how different each house here is because of that okay some of the bigger changes here for the phone especially for the Pro Models are the cameras firstly we have now inherited the five times telephoto camera from the pro Max last year and replaced the three times that the pro had last year so now both the pro and the pro Max have the same cameras and there's no need to buy the larger model just to get the further telephoto length which I greatly preferred myself so I'm happy about that we also now have a new 48 megapixel ultrawide camera that bends the pixels by default to get larger photo sites versus the last year model which didn't as well as the ability to shoot in the full 48 megapixels if you need the extra resolution as with all cameras like this it's better to use that mode in better lighting as the higher resolution trade-off is lower light sens sensitivity now we don't get the fusion camera the name that they've dubbed their main camera now that combines the 48 megap resolution we have from last year still with the bend 12 megapixel image to get a 24 megapixel image that sort of has the best of both worlds is the idea so I wonder if we'll add that to the ultra wide at some point maybe like the 17 Pro maybe but either way the higher res and the more importantly to me larger sensor Ultra wide is definitely welcomed and looks pretty good and that Ultra wide still can be used as a macro camera as well and we still have the two times option which crops out the 12 megapix center of the 48 megapixel main camera to get a pretty solid two times optical zoom from there like a lot of companies are doing now you just lose the larger pixel so low light won't be as good as say a dedicated larger two times camera in addition to the hardware changes the processing has changed slightly as well and as per the usual since it's more and more a subjective thing these days I'll let you guys be the judge of what you see in the images and video samples here in the video as to which you prefer in addition to the subjective camera things photographic Styles has been updated unlike the filters on your phone that had a blanket affect across the entire image similar to an Instagram filter photographic Styles which debuted last year on the iPhone 15 Pro are different in that they affect different parts of the image specifically similar to how a lot maybe would work on video content they know what a person is and adjust skin tone specifically they adjust the sky specifically etc etc new this year though is that they are non-destructive so long as you're shooting in HF mode by the way so that means that whatever style you choose when shooting the photo you can then undo and or change after the fact which is great you can also Now find tweak them using these graphs on each one and save that as a new version as well you can also adjust the tone which basically lets you undo some of the HDR boosting to the shadows as it does by default but it gives you control over the Shadows more than you normally would have now I personally prefer to have the Shadows myself be brightened by the phone and then and just prefer the phone's way of handling these things now is I'd rather just have that data and then pull the Shadows back down and post before I share it but maybe that's just me and this at least lets you control that before you shoot and even leave it that way like with the photographic styles to create your own preset basically and finally one of the more interesting changes that we have this year to the Pro Models we have a new camera control button and it's actually kind of clever you can now use it to launch the camera which saves me having to use the action button for that and can now be used for something else but in addition to it being a button that when pressed launches the camera and also takes a photo or you can hold it down to take a video it has a capacitive haptic surface so you can tap lightly while in the camera without actually pressing down on the button part of it and then that brings up one of a variety of camera options that you can then adjust by swiping along the control you can also double tap to change the option you want to have here it's clever and it is useful for doing Zoom instead of maybe pinching on the screen it's still faster to just tap the camera icons on the screen though if you wanted to go to those specific lengths which you honestly should really only ever use those and not the lengths in between I also though like it for exposure compensation instead of having to tap and hold on the screen and then slide up or down or using the on screen option at the top and the quote unquote aperture adjustments in portrait mode as it's more seamless than tapping it all on the screen Maybe cameras as I mentioned though feel faster to just tap the existing controls on the display and the new photographic Styles now have their own everpresent button at the top left that feels faster to tap and swipe through the on-screen ones instead of using the camera control also there's something about the swiping on the camera control that just feels a little awkward and I haven't got used to it let me know if you get the phone and you do this is thre's brewing here in Greenpoint Brooklyn not too far from the coffee shop and we've definitely filmed here before as I do admittedly come here a lot but since we last came here they now have one of my favorite burgers in the hood now they used to do various popups for their food but not too long ago started a longer term partnership it seems with Gotham Burger and the burger they make is an amazing simple No Frills Smash Burger you can choose between a single or a double for the number of patties and it comes with grilled onions American cheese housemade pickles Club sauce mustard mayo and jalapenos it's so good and if you're feeling guilty about eating something this Rich then the kale salad and I say this as a person who doesn't crave salads very often is also very good and then if you want to counteract the fact that you just ordered a kale salad perhaps then the beer is also an excellent choice and they brew most of it themselves in their location a bit further into Brooklyn in a neighborhood called ganas okay for video on the iPhone 16 Pro we now have 4K 120 FPS instead of just 60 you can also choose to shoot this in SDR or HDR color spaces with the HDR option being Dolby visual the benefit of shooting in 120 FPS is the ability to be able to either play it back Ultra smooth but someone would need a 120 HZ screen to watch it properly or play back at normal speed or slow it down up to 1/5 of the speed for smooth slow motion you can also just shoot and decide which of these you might want to do with the footage after which is convenient I actually enjoyed using it on the Xperia 1 4 a couple of years back and this is just a better looking version of that straight out of the phone so it's great to see audio mix is new and now allows you to adjust noise cancellation for a video that you shot to isolate voices using algorithms and the four new mics Apple has added to the Pro Models you can choose from the standard which is the normal sound you can't hear the individual notes anyway plus I have like Distortion did you see that I sent you the like synth and pedal Fest in frame which isolates the voices of the people in the camera's view you can't hear the individual notes anyway plus I have like Distortion did you see that I sent you the like synth and pedal Fest Studio which does the same but adds extra noise cancelling and a gain a little bit you you can't hear the individual notes anyway plus I have like Distortion did you see that I sent you the like synth and pedal Fest and cinematic which isolates all the voices around you and makes them sound like they're coming from the front kind of like a movie would is the idea you can't hear the individual not anyway plus I have like Distortion did you see that I sent you the like synth and pedal Fest okay now we have to talk about Apple intelligence and it isn't coming until iOS 18.1 later in October but Siri as you'd expect as the virtual assistant on the iPhone has gotten some upgrades from the new Apple intelligence editions Siri has a new animation that I actually really like and it can now work while you still use your phone as well as not be stopped by your ums and a and changing your mind mid request you can also type to Siri instead of talk which is Handy for obvious reasons in the future Siri will also get chat GPT integration for being better at answering questions as well as being able to tap into mail and messages for context so you can ask things about your upcoming flight or maybe an order from a website provided that the info is in an email Etc but since none of that is available even in the beta yet we'll see how that works down the road we also have writing tools which you've probably seen on Samsung and Google devices at this point and the idea is the same selecting texts lets you then proofread rewrite summarize and other options to interact with that text and use his on device AI to help with those things the most handy of these I feel like is the proof reading and the summarizing of notifications specifically as it definitely helps triage the otherwise overwhelming iOS notifications which is a great use for that there's a handy transcribing for voice notes and notes and even phone calls it alerts both part parties that are being recorded before starting to comply with laws but all of that works as well as it does on other devices that have had this for a bit and is also handy we also have some other things that you've seen on other devices like cleanup which lets you erase things like magic eraser has on Pixel devices image playground which lets you generate images and gen Emoji which lets you create your own Emoji to share between other iOS users as with all AI features that we've seen on phones some of these are more useful than others but bottom line is that apple is now catching up to all of the other AI features launched by Samsung and Google and will tell if and how they become part of each of our own specific workflows regardless of which one you use now for battery here is my screen on time and usage for anyone who cares about that for today but today was a real world test day and I Ed my camera way more than you ever would so here is another day that was not a real world test day so you have something to compare it to overall the battery life is solid I think it was pretty good last year and it's may be slightly better this year thanks a part to a slightly larger battery in the phone but there you go let me what you guys think of the phone in the comments below always appreciate it hear from you guys and uh I'll leave the best price that I can find on the iPhone 16 Pro in the description please check out Ham's new I steady V3 gimbal at the link below thanks to them for sponsoring this video and also if you want check out my coffee you can buy some at the link below if you're interested I do
