LZ Compound Touge - Initial D Style

**A90 Super Experts: An Unconventional Build Project**

For this build project, our creator has opted to bypass traditional methods by utilizing a custom radiator designed to fit both the heat exchanger and radiator components of the A90 chassis. This decision was made due to the challenging design requirements of the vehicle's cooling system, which necessitates the removal of various components to access the radiator.

"I've been obsessed with 86s," our creator begins, "and I don't want to say always because it's kind of like a thing that comes and goes. Back when I watch Initial D, forever ago, like anyone else who watches Initial D, it makes you really want the experience of owning an 86." This sentiment is shared by many enthusiasts, as the iconic racing series has long been a driving force behind the popularity of the Toyota Corolla AE86.

Recently, our creator had the opportunity to take possession of an A90 Super Expert, which was generously loaned to them by their friend Chelsea. "He uh he tossed me the keys," they recall, "and said go have fun. See what it's like because you probably won't want to own one after you drive it." This gesture speaks to the inherent charm and allure of the A90 Super Expert, a vehicle known for its unique blend of performance and handling.

Our creator has long been fascinated by the prospect of creating a custom compound for their 86, where enthusiasts could gather to compete in timed laps. "I think these things make like 120 horsepower," they explain, "so I feel like will be perfect for this." However, due to the A90 Super Expert's impressive acceleration, our creator has opted instead to test drive it on a loose circuit within their compound.

In preparation for this endeavor, our creator had taken the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the vehicle's handling characteristics. "I've done like a couple donuts with it," they admit, "just to like feel what it's like." This hands-on approach has allowed them to develop an intimate understanding of the A90 Super Expert's capabilities and limitations.

**The Experience**

As our creator embarked on their drive through the compound, they were determined to capture the essence of this unique experience. "This was a blast," they reflect, "I gotta say like I try to be authentic with you guys right." This sentiment is underscored by the fact that our creator had been working tirelessly to perfect the setup and capture the footage without relying on elaborate editing techniques.

"We got it done one take," their friend Mike confirms, although the process was not without its challenges. "This gopro situation up here kept ripping off from the sun sundome light so now we're like well I took so many tries to get it without the camera falling off and then as soon as we got the camera set up rigged i just started pushing it too hard because i got too comfortable and uh i spun a couple times but everything's good." This relatable anecdote speaks to the inherent unpredictability of filming high-performance vehicles.

**Conclusion**

As our creator concludes their foray into the world of A90 Super Experts, they express a renewed passion for owning a clean 86 and a Thrasher. "No way that I would be thrashing this place with as clean of an 86 that I want to own," they say wistfully. This sentiment is shared by many enthusiasts, who recognize the significance of maintaining a pristine vehicle.

**Initial D**

In recognition of their love for Initial D, our creator highly recommends the series to viewers. "I wish that I had seen it sooner in my life," they reflect, "i think i watched it for the first time like three or four years ago but prior to that i watched it like 10 years ago and i just couldn't get into it because i was watching it dubbed instead of subbed." This caveat serves as a reminder of the importance of viewing subtitles when watching Initial D.

As our creator continues, "you got to watch subtitles the English dubbed voices are trash they ruin the whole show but if you watch your subtitle that's cool and then just be mindful like the first three episodes and honestly the first like season as a whole kind of moves slow but once you get into it into it it's sick." This nuanced approach to Initial D is shared by many enthusiasts, who recognize the value of immersing themselves in the series.

**Shoutouts**

Finally, our creator extends their gratitude to Chelsea for loaning them the A90 Super Expert and sharing their enthusiasm with the world. "You must have a lot of faith in me as a driver or just don't really care about this car," they joke, acknowledging the inherent risks involved in lending such a powerful vehicle.

As our creator concludes their video, they express their appreciation for the opportunity to share their experience with the audience. "Thank you guys and I'll see you tomorrow with super content and maybe other stuff too i don't know let me check my calendar okay bye um nobody knows," they say wistfully, leaving viewers to wonder what the future holds for this A90 Super Expert enthusiast.

"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enwhat's up guys and welcome to today's video last time we had this r32 on the dyno we made a bit more power now the car is ethanol and a standalone and i took it out for a little drive with luke on the compound so here is the gopro footage of our first reaction to the new setup it's about to rain so i'm going to do a quick little first impressions test around the compound just to see how the car feels what i'm the most curious about is in terms of drivability how much quicker this thing gets into boost than it did before ethanol produces a lot more exhaust gas lets you add more ignition timing definitely picks up a decent amount quicker you know for old turbo technology not too bad i still get tire stickers on this thing it definitely went from like momentum fast to quick i know that this video is not going to do you justice but like this thing pulls pretty good i'm impressed get a couple logs for jamie i wanted to take this to dorte's house but unfortunately the weather's not going to cooperate a little 1-2 action it moves it definitely moves i'm impressed a little dead down low but it picks up pretty good the torque is went from like net to pretty good there's stuff rolling around in here i think it's pretty good i'm pretty happy with it it smells og yeah yeah it's got the proper you know cigarettes a little bit of cigarettes but they just have a smell like my first ever jack curl was a 32 four-door sorry my second one my second ever chat car the ride's nice i like it it has such old-school pull to it yeah like it's not linear like normal stuff you know like your favorite word at the moment but i love the way it pulls it has that punch i felt that little vibration a little vibration i felt i don't know putting it's hard to tell because it's not like super smooth we'll do a little launch for fun it's definitely smooth though yeah this car drives like a new car yeah every bushing in the car is good like it was properly looked after and the six speed living i know it's a pretty cool example of a car i love the stock wheels too stock steering was so good in those things hard to get this thing yeah that's good i don't feel any real vibration there might be like some slight like cradle vibration in the rear it feel yeah it feels like i think cradle vibration is what it is yeah so i spelled that same vibration on the dyno so i wonder what it is well it wouldn't be cradled then if it was on the dynamite yeah it's at like a certain rpm the rear end vibrates yeah i want to take a break from the video to let you guys know that the autozone sweepstakes for the rtr mustang spec 2 is live now it's going to be running through june 27th and if you don't remember the car mike's going to put some footage of it on the screen it's a 10-speed black brand new 5-0 mustang with a bunch of sick rtr mods on it there's no purchase necessary the car drives great looks great and you can find more information by the link on the screen or visiting the description and clicking the link down there good luck afterwards i took the car on a fun street drive i honestly didn't film too much it was really hot and sweaty i didn't even have my shirt on just because i don't have ac working i still need to convert it from r12 but i do have one clip collette wound up driving this for a period of time when i was driving the r32 sedan and she was just ripping the thing it's sick and it sounds really good too i'm driving the sedan colette is driving the gtr lavender can give it a little pull so we can hear what it sounds like from outside of the car i don't know if you guys can hear that much over this thing but it sounded good to me so sick after enjoying this car and getting to finally drive down the street i definitely am more motivated to work on it more the first thing i got to do more than anything radio makes a really cool package that's an in-tank surge tank that can also suit up to three pumps for direct bolt-in with the stock tank i want to do that because i'm leaning on the fuel system a little bit too hard right now at its current power so i want to have that headroom and i also want to give it a couple more pounds and when i find time and i can badge your tommy for some interior parts i want to start the default interior i need some old logo nismo floor mats rumor has it tommy has some that has some cinnamon cold brews spilled on it that he said he'd sell me for cheap i wonder what happened there uh and then this i gotta defend that i gotta defend all these gauges the bad thing is i have self-tappers so i'm gonna hope that i can find um the original pieces that are unmolested maybe from tommy's collection and then i got to do an old old logo nismo wheel so i can have the approval of the true what did he call himself again jdm legend no not jdm legend space do you refer to himself as a god or a superhero super villain he's not a super villain he's nice i know the real tummy the real jdm restoration god work with me here i i feel like if i call him and ask him what he refers to himself as regardless he's only going to give you these parts if you spill more cold brew on them guys go follow tommy and tell him to sell me the parts that i need because he doesn't need to sell him he has everything that he wants i help a brother out please so if you guys remember we have rested the keg that's what they refer the rotaries that aren't dressed up in this super before to kind of just see everything's going to fit and make sure that it's an idea that actually makes sense the next step with this johann is going to be building the motor mounts as well as the transmission mount so then you can start to fab the headers and the intake setup on this so my project is to get all the junk out of here that's not going to stay in the car so yolan has the most work area possible i kind of want to see if we can leave the heat shielding on since the header is going to be right around that area anyway it'd be kind of cool to leave some of the oem bits but all this ac and coolant stuff i can remove um i might leave the brake system on even though i'm not going to use abs just try to get some of the junk out of the way so another thing uh that may wow there's a lot of things and stuff in here um another thing that may be kind of interesting to you we're going to try to retain the stock oil cooler well they're not oil coolers or heat exchangers stock we're going to see if we can retain the ducting and shrouding for that because the rotary's gonna need two oil coolers it's gonna need a lot of oil cooling but i don't know once this car is wise fab in the front if the wheels are going to interfere with this so we're gonna leave those on as kind of mock-up coolers that way we can put the front end on and then to see kind of how the wheels trail to see if it's going to interfere and get in the way so if i pop this line off yo everything's so everything's so clean i love it oh i'm leaking all over myself ends can't wait to sell this on yahoo auctions japan is some stupid american kid for like five grand welcome back to adam lz show today we're gonna be pulling apart the radiator how it comes out i haven't figured out that much yet let me think of it just pulled straight up i'm trying to leave as much of this car together as i can without taking stuff apart so there's that i seen the tools have disappeared that you need this the torques same ones before i want to use the stock radiator but i think what we're going to do instead because one of these is a heat exchanger and one's a radiator we'll get a custom radiator made that'll be like the same dimension as both of these so it'll be thicker but it could still hopefully go in the same stock location it's weird that on these cars you have to remove the engine to be able to remove the radiator isn't it yeah be a pricey dealership friggin i imagine oh that's the last of all the a90 super experts are watching this with disgust all right this is the part of the video that maybe you guys have been waiting for i have been obsessed with 86's i don't want to say always because it's kind of like a thing that comes and goes back when i watch initial d forever ago like anyone else that watches initial d it makes you really want the experience of owning an 886 and then i kind of grew out of it but i've been re-watching all of initial d again with colette so all non-stop all i've been talking about with chelsea was 8086's and he was homey enough to just be like well i happen to have one in florida so if you want a little 886 experience he uh he tossed me the keys he said go have fun see what it's like because you probably won't want to own one after you drive it so that's what we're going to do i'm going to drive this thing around the compound and i'm going to try to like what i've been wanting to do i know i've talked about this before is like set up a course through the compound that you could drive with a car so i could have people that visit do like a timed lap or something the problem is most cars are too fast for it and it just gets hairy even go-karts are almost too fast here but in 886 i think these things make like 120 horsepower so i feel like will be perfect for this he's got it on really loose tires so the thing just slides around everywhere don't ask me how i know that i haven't slid it around anywhere just not at all yet i really haven't driven this car much i've done like a couple donuts with it just to like feel what it's like so this will be like kind of like my real first time driving it but we're gonna have some fun and make a little compound toe gay section for this video so uh me me yo that was a blast i gotta say like i try to be authentic with you guys right and i wanted to make sure i had that whole thing done one take mike can you confirm it was about third try we got it done one take but this this gopro situation up here pushing it too hard because i got too comfortable and uh i spun a couple times but everything's good this was a blast it's an experience and no power steering not a lot of horsepower it's a handful but i love it and i hope that the the fun can translate over video kind of reinforces my want for having a clean a86 and a thrasher because there's no way that i would be thrashing this place with as clean of an 86 that i want to own um yeah this was fun i hope you guys liked it uh if you haven't ever watched initial d i highly recommend it i wish that i had seen it sooner in my life i think i was sick thank you chelsea shout out chelsea to know for let me thrash your car at the compound you must have a lot of faith in me as a driver or just don't really care about this car lot thank you guys and i'll see you tomorrow with super content and maybe other stuff too i don't know let me check my calendar okay bye um nobody knows youwhat's up guys and welcome to today's video last time we
