Motorola Razr Android phone Overview

**Motorola Razer Review: A Flagship Android Phone from 2011**

Hi there, this is Ranjit from Tech2Bus.com, and today I have a quick overview about this um android phone from motorola and it's known as motorola razer. This was launched in November 2011 but still this model is the flagship android phone from motorola currently.

This phone runs on Android 2.3 that's Gingerbread, but this phone is scheduled to get the Ice Cream Sandwich update. Motorola Razer was provided by Faisal Communications for review and do check out their Facebook page that's on the screen. If you live in Hyderabad they offer one of the best pricing for mobile phones and this phone retails for approximately about 30,000 Indian Rupees. I have given the link of Flipkart below so that you can check the current pricing.

The first striking thing about this phone is how sleek it is. This is an extremely thin phone and you get a little bit of bulge over here but it tapers down and it is one of the slimmest android phones in the world right now. Motorola has packed in a quite a few features of this phone and uh it sports a 1.2 gigahertz dual core processor.

The screen size of this phone is 4.3 inches and it sports a QHD resolution that's uh 960 by 540 pixels. This is more than the standard resolution that we get in other phones, that's just about 800 by 480 pixels. So technically speaking, thing should look a little bit more crisper on this phone.

This phone sports the Super AMOLED plus screen and it might not be visible in this video but I can definitely say that the screen quality is really, really good. The phone comes with 16 GB of on-board storage but you also have a flap over here and if you remove that you can add a micro SD card. Do note that this phone accepts a micro SIMS and that also goes over here as you notice the phone is pretty sleek so it doesn't have a removable battery.

The battery it houses is 1780 milliamp, I'll now quickly just go over the ports of the phone on the top we have the uh HDMI out and you also have the Micro USB by which you charge the phone. We get the standard 3.5 mm headphone jack on this side. We have the power button and the volume rocker up and down, I feel the volume rocker is a bit recessed so it's a little bit difficult to depress.

We do not have a dedicated camera shutter button on the bottom again we have nothing and on this side as I have mentioned earlier we have the slot for inserting your micro SIMS and the SD card. Nothing else. Going on to the back, you see the bulge here and we have the speaker grille over here. We have a LED flash and a rear-facing camera that's an 8 megapixel camera and this camera can shoot full HD that's 1080p videos.

Again if you look at the back the back is made up of kevlar and it is really sleek and it feels very comfortable in the hand. Another thing I just noticed about this phone is that uh the phone is a little bit wider compared to other 4.3 inches phones and on the front we have the regular sensors on the front.

We have the 1.3 megapixel front-facing camera, we have the earpiece, we have the ambient light sensor and the proximity sensor, and we also have a LED flashing notification light which is a welcome uh option that I find many of the manufacturers these days missing. We get this nice animation when you switch off the phone.

This phone sports four touch type capacitated buttons at the bottom and you normally cannot see that and when you go in a dark area these light up automatically and you get the menu home back and the search options so this is a nice looking sleek from from motorola known as Motorola Razer. This is the GSM version and it's also known as XT910 we also get CDMA versions or LTE versions in other parts of the world.

I'll be doing a detailed review of this phone so if you have any specific questions regarding this phone please share them in the comment section, I'll be more than happy to include them in my review. That's it for now for this overview of Motorola Razer and I hope to see you in my next video.
