**Immersive Experiences: Exploring Virtual Reality and Gaming**

We are going to do some kind of waves of grace thing, place your device, use headphones for 360 degree audio now I'm just going to do it the uh regular way using the speakers on the iPhone. So here we go and it's very tight. I have to make a few adjustments. Peace so the logos over there in December of 2013 an outbreak of Ebola began in West Africa, it is currently the largest Ebola epidemic in history. Oh the words are over here too. Oh my god oh my holy I'm standing on a beach there's people walking by me this is insane I feel like I'm gonna fall over.

Okay black screen all right now I'm in a room full of people there's a lady right here carving something okay whoa this is insane guys I'm telling you this is so crazy. Now I'm in a classroom there are kids looking at me someone chopping wood right there Jesus do not try to walk with this on it just makes you feel weird that is crazy. Now the roller coaster is one thing but that was damn cool because it actually felt like I was standing there with people around me mind-blowing that is freaking mind-blowing. The video quality is okay uh this is an actual virtual reality this is one of those Google cardboard cutout like products obviously it's not cardboard this is an actual physical product but I believe the future VR is just going to make it even better.

That is damn cool that is cool by the way I'm using I'm using my iPhone 6s because this allows you to adjust per size which is pretty sweet. Hold on let me go for one more round okay there's people being treated for Ebola there's a little boy right there in bed oh my god this person is humongous right next to me. I cannot wait to show my parents this this is incredible it really messes with your mind guys it does your brain has no idea what's going on it's just confused that is so cool.

All right that is incredible I'm sorry you guys obviously can't see what I'm saying but I can give you a sneak preview so if you look inside here you're not gonna see much but as you move around in space the view will change. You can see a lady right there so it's pretty sweet it's not bad looking either that is just crazy. So that's how you open it kind of like pull this little tab and it opens up and that's what the real view looks like. It's just two views one for each eye and I guess they kind of work together to simulate a 3d like experience.

Destruction who's in 3d space we would greatly appreciate any help you could provide yeah I've got to say that's insane and one of the coolest tech experiences I've had in quite a while. I will definitely be giving this a very positive review just simply awesome you know what I think I'm gonna build this and by the way I am having giving withdrawal I have not played a game since Wednesday before leaving for Thanksgiving yeah so it's been a few days which may not seem like a while but after you're so used to playing games like Black Ops 3 and Halo 5 all the time you kind of need your fix but even with that said I'm not gonna play for a little while because I'm gonna watch a random movie really Maui in the background on Netflix not HBO go I've kind of lost open HBO go for tonight um.

And I'm gonna build this yes I'm finally gonna get this built and eat some dinner then wrap up the night with some actual gaming Black Ops Siri so guys I think I'm going to sign off right now because well and I'm feeling a little nauseous from the virtual reality. Totally worth it though and two like I said I'm gonna spend some time building this because it's 689 pieces so yeah it's gonna it's gonna take a little while you know you know but guys anyway I just want to thank you so much for your support I hope you enjoyed Thanksgiving 2015 and Black Friday 2015.

all right here we go here we go okay so obviously this isn't gonna look like much because it's clearly not dark out yet but we spent over an hour setting these up last night these are wi-fi christmas lights and yes i said over an hour that is indeed correct we've run into some troubleshooting issues but we've actually figured it out and set up on both ios and android so now using the itwinkle app i think it's called you can now actually change these lights like the pattern the intensity the rate of speed it's pretty cool and down here we've got all the usual stuff got the classic santa let's take a walk guys let's take a walk there it is mr claus himself a classic keep it the great work and there's bumble's looking scared i think that's his name right bumbles what a classic movie and obviously there's rudolph and here's a very dead tree looks good though leds right yeah i think so can't even feel any warmth that's usually how you can tell and while you can usually tell just by looking at them with the intensity of the lights mr bear i don't think he moves anymore he used to animate like drum the uh well drum the drum over here penguins looking good the manger scene every year i tell my dad to leave jesus out until christmas morning but no he refuses to do so jesus is already born there you go spoiler alert either way it looks nice over here snoopy another classic excellent excellent just bright colors too the red just looks awesome now this is brand new this is my first time seeing this in person today olaf from frozen how cool is that look at him go that is so funny i love it and here's this little doggy dude you know you know i guess it's a labradoodle what we think it is either way it's a pretty dog ryan's little jingle bells you can see me in the decorations video or i don't know what i called and there's no real consistency there just kind of look them up if you can and you'll see that the tree was only maybe like this tall one year now it's like way up there it's getting crazy but bushy and there you have it a brief tour of the outside decorations at the difranco estate well i don't know what you would call this my house is the frankie the background 720p video is the minimum resolution but 1080p is recommended so if your video is in 1080p perfect and then finally please do not include titles lower thirds or text of any kind this just ensures for a clean presentation and then down here on the form it says important the deadline for video submissions is december 15th and of course if you need any help with dropbox i promise you positive note shout out to chris hadley for hooking me up with this lighting kit over the weekend this is definitely a surprise i did not expect this at all chris says hi david i know how much you enjoy your led lights so i figured i would give you the challenge of putting this set to good use enjoy from chris hadley and check it out it's a five meter waterproof strip light now honestly i don't know what to do with this yet because i currently have that lighting kit in there so i'm gonna have to find a place for this maybe behind my shelf actually these these cubes that could be pretty cool but because there's so many cubes i would have to do it in a very i don't know just with a smart approach because i wouldn't want it to look bad but then again i kind of have enough lights already with those right there that strip behind my desk or maybe i could put some things under here hmm or maybe even behind this bookshelf just to give this room a bit more color although i don't think that would look too good because of these orange walls that's definitely something i had to do in 2016. i promise i will finally paint these walls and actually keep in mind the paint that's on these walls was originally intended for these walls it was just kind of a last-minute decision to finally switch my bedroom with my office but hey zero regrets because i absolutely love how my office turned out reality this is one of those google cardboard cutout like products obviously it's not cardboard this is an actual physical product but i believe the future vr is just going to make it even better that is damn cool that is cool by the way i'm using i'm using my iphone 6s because this allows you to adjust per size which is pretty sweet hold on let me go for one more round okay there's people being treated for ebola there's a little boy right there in bed oh my god this person is humongous right next to me i cannot wait to show my parents this this is incredible it really messes with your mind guys it does your brain has no idea what's going on it's just confused that is so cool all right that is incredible i'm sorry you guys obviously can't see what i'm saying but i can give you a sneak preview so if you look inside here you're not gonna see much but as you move around in space the view will change you can see a lady right there so it's pretty sweet it's not bad looking either that
