I know what you're gonna say what about the 1 + 5 t well if I had to choose between the v10 and the 1 + 5 t I'm going with the v10 and let me tell you why now some of these reasons are kind of petty and we could debate but some of them you can't argue it number one the display now granted I do like AMOLED panels better so we'll give that to the one plus 5t but I'm also a member of the PPI Patrol and with the v10 you got 403 PP eyes with the 1 + 5 t 401 so theoretically on paper this one has a better display next now here's something you can't debate expandable memory with the v10 you got a microSD card slot with expandable memory up to 256 gigs with the 1 + 5 t whichever version you get whether it's 128 or 256 that's your maximum digits and you stuck on that gig äj-- so expandable memory that's always a go next the cameras now the 1 + 5 t you do have a better front-facing camera but with the v10 you got a way better rear facing camera now you got your artificial intelligence you got way more shooting modes and the portrait mode just looks better with point-and-shoot status now most people use their rear camera more than the front camera so that's an important thing for me next now this is another one you can't debate battery with the v10 you got a three thousand seven hundred and fifty million battery with the 1 + 5 t a 3300 milliamp battery so you're getting way more battery life now here's another one I'm gonna have to test charging time now on paper the V is five volts at 4.5 amps the 1 + 5 t 5 volts for amps so technically this one should charge faster next now this one is up for debate fingerprint sensor both of them have super smooth fingerprint sensors but the placement on the v10 you got your fingerprint sensor on the front on the 1 + 5 t fingerprint sensors on the back now why is that important if you got your phone on the table like this you got easier access to your fingerprint sensor or if you're in your car and you got your phone in a car dock with the 1 + 5 t and any phone you can't use the fingerprint sensor why it's in the dock and you can't use your face to unlock so you're gonna have to put your pattern in or your PIN if somebody's sitting next to you they're gonna get your PIN and your pattern with the v10 is - got it on your car mount use your finger open it right up so figure for placement way better on the v10 next the speaker now just did a little side-by-side test both of the speakers nothing to really write home about but da v10 does have a better speaker both of them down firing speakers no dual speakers on either one but if I had to choose I'm going with the v10 and the last but most important reason why I like the v10 better thought protection now we're gonna talk about that in a second now you do got your secure folders and all I don't know 1 + 5 t but you got full fledge fingerprint sensor activated thought protection the same one y'all seen on the May 10 pro and a few other wall wave phones built-in to your v10 so fresh out of the box now give me a couple of days I'll do a full review and we'll see if any everything works out but fresh out of the box I think this is the best phone that you're gonna get feature wise build quality wise overall satisfaction for 500 bucks this is it the v10 alright so let's walk through this real quick number one build quality this phone looks and feels premium if you ever seen an iPhone 7 it looks and feels exactly the same I saw nothing cheap about this at all so build quality a1 next fingerprint sensor now ya know between 1 + + wor-- way they make the best fingerprint sensors on the game that's why I didn't mention that in my little comparison just now both of these the fingerprint sensors are out of this world and the same thing with the facial unlock so check out the fingerprint sensor I mean this is unbelievable you just rest your finger it just opens right up super smooth now check out the face you unlock you lift up your phone and just look at it and it opens up now I'm doing this from behind the camera I'm gonna try to do this and get to get a good look check this out I'm just pressing the button looking at the phone you see the fingerprint sensor on the bottom so I'm not touching the fingerprint sensor you see how fast that was it opens right up sometimes it bypasses your lock screen now I'll do that without looking at it you see there's your lock screen now I'm gonna look at it bonds just like that so this is one of the fastest now it's not the most secure in the world it's not Irish sensor status it's not facial recognition like the iPhone but for convenience this is unbelievable and I like the way they got it set up so once you lift up your phone similar to the LGV 30 it uses your motion so once you lift it up and you look at it it's automatically gonna bring it to your face unlock that's gonna unlock your phone now I'm doing this part of my camera is kind of blocking me let me let me look at it close look at that I'm looking at it directly right now you see if you look at it closely with no interference you won't even get to your lock screen that is unbelievable I sort of facial unlock on this a1 now let's go to some of the OS real quick now this is another reason why I like this better than the 1 plus 5t now like I said one plus 5t it's a great phone both of these phones have their respective top-of-the-line processors top-of-the-line GPUs but with the avi 10 you're getting way more software features now the 1 plus 5t that's the perfect phone if you want to stock Android experience with the latest and greatest processor then get that but if you want the gimmicks now I call them gimmicks calling features call them whatever you want if you want the gimmicks then you want to check this one out all right so you got your screen recorder okay you got your screen shot button and you got scroll shot so if I hit that it would keep scrolling let's see what it's not it's just me a quick overview you got a navigation duct now if you want you see I could turn these orange green navigation buttons off I'll hit the navigation dock and that's gonna add this little dock right here so now when I hit the home I can use this I can turn off my on-screen buttons I will leave that on okay so now I got maximum advantage of the full screen display now if I want to open something up say Instagram if I want to exit out just tap on that I can use that as a navigation dock so we'll disable that for them let's see what else you got you got screen mirroring screen recording let's go to settings let's breeze through the setters real quick now of course you got NFC I don't got to check that so this way you can use your Android pay or whatever kind of pay method you use let's see let's go to battery now check this out you got power saving mode and ultra power saving mode so if I turn on power and save right now I got approximately 17 hours and five minutes left now keep in mind this phone features quick charge so 58% worth of battery in 30 minutes but right now you see my batteries on 44% if I active right now that gives me approximately 17 hours and five minutes left if I activate power saving mode I'm gonna get 23 hours now ultra power saving mode 3 days and 22 hours now that's pretty similar to the mate 10 Pro so I don't even have to wait a full week I can tell you how speaking from experience the battery life on these wall wave phones and these honor phones are unbelievable alright so if you're looking for a good battery phone you're gonna want that so that's one of the reasons why I'm not even mad that they're not using quiet HD displays LCD 1080p that's gonna be perfect for battery life let's keep it moving let's go to our smart assistants let's see I got two one-handed I see you got your mini screen view you got your shifting keyboard let's go to motion controls flip to mute pickup to reduce your your raid volume raise to M so this way if you got it on the contact raise it right to here down light contact you got your knuckle gestures alright so two taps that'll be a screen shot that's a nice little feature you got to draw your letters to open up icons and your split screen gestures now let me show you how that works so say you on Facebook and I want to do a Facebook and YouTube at the same time I'm gonna use my knuckle drum pull up I'm gonna use my knuckle draw a line across and that's gonna open up split screen so I can take it art right over the YouTube and I'm gonna split screen status now speaking of YouTube since we here let's check out the speakers real quick let's get max volume listen let's get some action matter of fact let me pull up something with some music alright here we go let's take it over to bike life I will get max now look at this display now one bottom firing speaker so no dual speakers on the top but it's nice and loud and it's crystal clear listen to this I saw the speakers on this definitely a go and I like having a home button on the front now it's running Android Optimus Prime so you got to picture-in-picture let's exit out of that all your Oreo features and let's see if there's anything else in settings and we need to take a look at ah that's pretty much it let's see ah I told y'all NFC screen mirroring let's go over the camera real quick Oh real quick let's go to about phone now this is running Android 8.1 dot o all right so that's one of the latest versions of Optimus Prime now check this out ir blaster on the top so you got your Smart Remote now if you don't know what IR blaster is that stands for infrared basically what that means is you can use your phone as a remote control and this pairs up the technology is way better than it used to be so now for your parent process real simple so if you go to the diner you go to the doctor's office you're sitting up in the DMV and they got that TV no longer do you have to go to Google and try to figure out pass codes and all that point your phone at the TV the setup process is real simple press power power power power and one of them is gonna connect and then you're gonna be able to change the channel raise or lower the volume on any TV and this also works on stereos cable boxes a lot of other stuff I even got it to work on my air conditioner so IR blaster that's a major go when I do the full review you'll see it set up with all my different remotes matter of fact real quick I'll just pull up just like it do you I can see what it looks like I'll pull up Smart Remote on my mate temp Pro just so I could see alright so I already got Smart Remote setup on my mate 10 Pro here's an idea of some of the stuff you could control using the IR blaster you got your TV air conditioners your cable box cameras your network routers DVD players projectors and you can fully customize these so IR blast them for me that's a major go now you know view 10 you also got your translator app yeah I've seen that it's works this is one of the best apps right now you could get this on any Android phone but just having it built into your phone that's a nice touch let's go to camera real quick all right now hit from your camera you swipe over look at all your different shooting modes so you got photo you got pro photos video pro videos 3d panorama monochrome HDR night shots panorama light painting time-lapse slow-motion artist mode filters watermarks document scans and more so if you hit more you can download even more scroll over one here's your resolution max we'll leave this on 2002 X add watermarks audio controls object track in off your snapshot so basically you can do your multiple shots at one time this is crazy but let me show you point-and-shoot status let's do a quick point and respective top-of-the-line processors top-of-the-line GPUs but with the avi 10 you're getting way more software features now the 1 plus 5t that's the perfect phone if you want to stock Android experience with the latest and greatest processor then get that but if you want the gimmicks now I call them gimmicks calling features call them whatever you want if you want the gimmicks then you want to check this one out all right so you got your screen recorder okay you got your screen shot button and you got scroll shot so if I hit that it would keep scrolling let's see what it's not it's just me a quick overview you got a navigation duct now if you want you see I could turn these orange green navigation buttons off I'll hit the navigation dock and that's gonna add this little dock right here so now when I hit the home I can use this I can turn off my on-screen buttons I will leave that on okay so now I got maximum advantage of the full screen display now if I want to open something up say Instagram if I want to exit out just tap on that I can use that as a navigation dock so we'll disable that for them let's see what else you got you got screen mirroring screen recording let's go to settings let's breeze through the setters real quick now of course you got NFC I don't got to check that so this way you can use your Android pay or whatever kind of pay method you use let's see let's go to battery now check this out you got power saving mode and ultra power saving mode so if I turn on power and save right now I got approximately 17 hours and five minutes left now keep in mind this phone features quick charge so 58% worth of battery in 30 minutes but right now you see my batteries on 44% if I active right now that gives me approximately 17 hours and five minutes left if I activate power saving mode I'm gonna get 23 hours now ultra power saving mode 3 days and 22 hours now that's pretty similar to the mate 10 Pro so I don't even have to wait a full week I can tell you how speaking from experience the battery life on these wall wave phones and these honor phones are unbelievable alright so if you're looking for a good battery phone you're gonna want that so that's one of the reasons why I'm not even mad that they're not using quiet HD displays LCD 1080p that's gonna be perfect for battery life let's keep it moving let's go to our smart assistants let's see I got two one-handed I see you got your mini screen view you got your shifting keyboard let's go to motion controls flip to mute pickup to reduce your your raid volume raise to M so this way if you got it on the contact raise it right to here down light contact you got your knuckle gestures alright so two taps that'll be a screen shot that's a nice little feature you got to draw your letters to open up icons and your split screen gestures now let me show you how that works so say you on Facebook and I want to do a Facebook and YouTube at the same time I'm gonna use my knuckle drum pull up I'm gonna use my knuckle draw a line across and that's gonna open up split screen so I can take it art right over the YouTube and I'm gonna split screen status now speaking of YouTube since we here let's check out the speakers real quick let's get max volume listen let's get some action matter of fact let me pull up something with some music alright here we go let's take it over to bike life I will get max now look at this display now one bottom firing speaker so no dual speakers on the top but it's nice and loud and it's crystal clear listen to this I saw the speakers on this definitely a go and I like having a home button on the front now it's running Android Optimus Prime so you got to picture-in-picture let's exit out of that all your Oreo features and let's see if there's anything else in settings and we need to take a look at ah that's pretty much it let's see ah I told y'all NFC screen mirroring let's go over the camera real quick Oh real quick let's go to about phone now this is running Android 8.1 dot o all right so that's one of the latest versions of Optimus Prime now check this out ir blaster on the top so you got your Smart Remote now if you don't know what IR blaster is that stands for infrared basically what that means is you can use your phone as a remote control and this pairs up the technology is way better than it used to be so now for your parent process real simple so if you go to the diner you go to the doctor's office you're sitting up in the DMV and they got that TV no longer do you have to go to Google and try to figure out pass codes and all that point your phone at the TV the setup process is real simple press power power power power and one of them is gonna connect and then you're gonna be able to change the channel raise or lower the volume on any TV and this also works on stereos cable boxes a lot of other stuff I even got it to work on my air conditioner so IR blaster that's a major go when I do the full review you'll see it set up with all my different remotes matter of fact real quick I'll just pull up just like it do you I can see what it looks like I'll pull up Smart Remote on my mate temp Pro just so I could see alright so I already got Smart Remote setup on my mate 10 Pro here's an idea of some of the stuff you could control using the IR blaster you got your TV air conditioners your cable box cameras your network routers DVD players projectors and you can fully customize these so IR blast them for me that's a major go now you know view 10 you also got your translator app yeah I've seen that it's works this is one of the best apps right now you could get this on any Android phone but just having it built into your phone that's a nice touch let's go to camera real quick all right now hit from your camera you swipe over look at all your different shooting modes so you got photo you got pro photos video pro videos 3d panorama monochrome HDR night shots panorama light painting time-lapse slow-motion artist mode filters watermarks document scans and more so if you hit more you can download even more scroll over one here's your resolution max we'll leave this on 2002 X add watermarks audio controls object track in off your snapshot so basically you can do your multiple shots at one time this is crazy but let me show you point-and-shoot status let's do a quick point and shoot I'm not even gonna play with any settings mom just took a quick picture check this out the camera on this phone is amazing now it's not as good as the mate temp Pro with the like it set up but it's not too far behind I just did a few side-by-side shots and when I do the full review I'll do a little bit more of an in-depth comparison but you can't go wrong with this camera like I said this is killing the 1 + 5 t with the rear camera setup anyway all in all my bad y'all I had to take a phone call but I can't end a video without talking about my favorite feature thought protection aka using my primary fingerprint which is my right thumb here's my home screen so let's go over to Facebook now see me at the top that's my Facebook page all my facebook activities let's take it over to Instagram now say I want to check out the buns let's get it in like that okay nice buns like those too okay let me go ahead and like that you're gonna like that photo all of my scumbag activities now say I want to put the phone into top protection real simple I'm just gonna power the screen off now I'm gonna open it up use it my fat print which is my left fingerprint now watch this here's my home screen looks pretty similar let's take it over to Instagram no Instagram account logged in let's take it over to Facebook no Facebook account logged in let's go over the camera let's check the gallery for any scuzzbucket pitches no scumbag pictures on deck so I could leave my phone on the table like this around anybody they can pick it up my phone is fully thought protected now say I want to go back into my regular scumbag life hit the power button open it back up with my primary fingerprint now check this out here's my facebook takes a brief second to load back up all of my facebook activities back on deck let's take it over to Instagram all of the buttons life back in the building the scanning like that and let's go to camera we go to gallery and if I need sleazeball pictures they'll be back on deck on a scale of one to ten that protection is a major major major major go that's a quad major that feature should be on every phone now phones like Samsung and a couple other phones they do have private sauce folders and all that stuff but no other phone does it like war way with the fingerprint integration look how fast I switch back and forth now my phone is protected just that fast exit out use all the fingerprint just that fast back to the gram that is a major major major major go anyway this to on a v10 hit me up in the comments let me know what y'all think
