mid-range specs now you got four gigs of ram 64 or 256 gigs of storage no micro sd card slot for expandable memory let's run an apple ipad os 15. for the battery you got a 32.4 watt hour battery that apple claims is going to last for 10 hours doing web browsing for the cameras on the front you got a 12 megapixel on the rear 8 megapixel and you can shoot video 1080p 60 frames per second now you got okay beautiful build quality on this aluminium aluminium glass there's your camera you got a led flash on this one now with the regular one no flash so do not try to take pictures at night they're gonna look like a potato dual speakers on the bottom and the top okay so now these are dual speakers not quad speakers but these are dual speaker grilles all right so i'm pretty sure it's dual speakers now i could be wrong but i'm pretty sure i read earlier that it's only dual stereo speakers so two speaker grills to make it look uniform but it's not quad speakers like the ipad pro okay let's see on one side everything looks nice and clean there's your power button now this is going to be your fingerprint sensor on the side or the top let's see i'll figure this out in a minute panoramic shots basic camera okay no 4k video on this one 1080p 30 frames per second it is what it is like i said this is a basic you know budget ipad my first ipad now let's take a look at the ipad mini now this one right here this is actually a flagship device okay excellent build quality on this one now at the beginning i i forgot this had the apple pencil magnetization slot on the side that's what that was fingerprint sensor on the top of this one i should watch this you see it just opened up just like that i'm not going to use the wrong finger okay won't it won't swipe open now i'm going to use the right finger bong see the unlock and just wipe it open this one fits right in the palm of my hands i actually like this all right this is kind of like having a big iphone all right not a full-size tablet just like a big iphone i can see where they're going with this one now same thing got all your basic widgets got all your toggles all your notifications let's take it over to the speaker test real quick all right back to the official flossie carter sound test here we go now this one is definitely louder sound coming from the top and the bottom let's wait for the bait yeah this one sounds dope yeah this one sounds way better all right speakers on the top and on the bottom nice and rich you can feel that bass not as loud as the ipad pro but these sound great alright these sound great let's keep it moving now let's let's check the display on this one all right here we go now same thing no full screen so you're gonna have to deal with the bars viewing angles on point the display is crystal clear this one has the liquid retina ips lcd all right it looks and sounds great all right so let's exit out of that let's uh check the web browsing speeds let's go to now this one uses the new apple pencil okay we'll do that later go to apple.com now this one is also downloading apps in the background so if it seems a little bit slower it's doing a lot of stuff at the same time but this is the a15 chipset so this is top of the food chain okay there it is no 120 hertz gonna have multiple apps open at the same time let's take it over to social media okay look at nicolas cage with that watch that rolly sick okay look let's see ice cube 1999 to 2021 i like the before and after photos like that okay somebody got a money suit on okay yeah when they can't get busted with a money suit on okay and this is how your social media is gonna look but the best thing about this phone iphone best thing about this tablet now i got big hands so i can easily palm this with one hand this is kind of dope now even if you got smaller hands it's not gonna be the same as carrying around this the big giant ipad pro look at the difference in size okay now here's the smaller ipad pro and if you notice the ipad 2021 and ipad pro uh the 11 inch version exactly the same size but this is the ipad you want to get if you're serious about taking your pictures you're serious about having minimum bezels let's go ahead and activate that you see minimum bezels on this one let's swipe up bom barely any bezels let's take it over to youtube real quick matter of fact i'll do that doing during the full review did we check the web browsing speeds on a regular ipad let's check that out real quick let's go to uh i'll set that up later okay exit out of that hold on see i had to i had to verify some oh here it goes okay so let's go to apple.com okay nice and fast 8 13. that's why i say never judge processors by the speed on paper do it in the real life if you notice the 8 15 and the 13 they blow up your website at the same time so if you're buying a tablet and you're not using it for work and your laptop and all that all you're going to be doing is chilling on social media shopping on amazon you know watching new youtube and netflix videos all day the process ain't really the biggest deal all right you can save some money and go with something like this not to mention you got the luxurious fingerprint sensor on the front but i suspect the camera is going to take a hit on this one but when i do the full review we'll have daytime nighttime photos i'll have everything set up we'll do a little bit more side-by-side testing and we'll test out both apple pencils anyway all right so let's get the big boy out of here the big boys actually and one thing i like about the small one when you put the apple pencil on it takes up the whole side okay so i was about to say it's easier to not fall off and then it falls off apple what are you doing all right it's not going to flawlessly now this is my first time seeing apple fingerprint sensor on the top but i like it though i don't know why they don't do that to the phones i like it anyway let me wrap this up ipad 2021 okay and ipad mini so far fresh out of the box on a scale of 1 to 10 i'm giving the mini a major major go i love the size the build quality it's nice and smooth it's classic apple same thing with the ipad 2021 this is a double major go and for 330 bucks this is the ipad to give to your moms give to your pups if they don't really use social media and they don't really be online like that they just want something to watch videos with you got a little kid they want to you know watch spongebob and play racing games all day i'll do some gaming tests and all that but you want to save some money get your kid something like this 330 bucks start training them into the apple ecosystem get an iphone se or an iphone uh old iphone from back in the days but just start getting them used to using apple software so they can gradually upgrade and they'll be able to use this stuff it's very durable it's not going to break 330 bucks the price is right 500 bucks for this one this is a go all right this go to now this one uses the new apple pencil okay we'll do that later go to apple.com now this one is also downloading apps in the background so if it seems a little bit slower it's doing a lot of stuff at the same time but this is the a15 chipset so this is top of the food chain okay there it is no 120 hertz gonna have multiple apps open at the same time let's take it over to social media okay look at nicolas cage with that watch that rolly sick okay look let's see ice cube 1999 to 2021 i like the before and after photos like that okay somebody got a money suit on okay yeah when they can't social media shopping on amazon you know watching new youtube and netflix videos all day the process ain't really the biggest deal all right you can save some money and go with something like this not to mention you got the luxurious fingerprint sensor on the front but i suspect the camera is going to take a hit on this one but when i do the full review we'll have daytime nighttime photos i'll have everything set up we'll do a little bit more side-by-side testing and we'll test out both apple pencils anyway all right so let's get the big boy out of here the big boys actually and one thing i like about the small one when you put the apple pencil on it takes up the whole side okay so i was about to say it's easier to not fall off and then it falls off apple what are you doing all right it's not going to just flap off like that it did hit my big hand but i like this one i the ipad mini 2021 i like this i this might be my new this might be my little travel companion like fingerprint sensor works flawlessly now this is my first time seeing apple fingerprint sensor on the top but i like it though i don't know why they don't do that to the phones i like it anyway let me wrap this up ipad 2021 okay and ipad mini so far fresh out of the box on a scale of 1 to 10 i'm giving the mini a major major go i love the size the build quality it's nice and smooth it's classic apple same thing with the ipad 2021 this is a double major go and for 330 bucks this is the ipad to give to your moms give to your pups if they don't really use social media and they don't really be online like that they just want something to watch videos with you got a little kid they want to you know watch spongebob and play racing games all day i'll do some gaming tests and all that but you want to save some money get your kid something like this 330 bucks start training them into the apple ecosystem get an iphone se or an iphone uh old iphone from back in the days but just start getting them used to using apple software so they can gradually upgrade and they'll be able to use this stuff it's very durable it's not going to break 330 bucks the price is right 500 bucks for this one this is a go all right
