25+ Tips & Tricks for iPhone 6S! 3D Touch Hidden Features

**Exploring the Power of 3D Touch on Your New iPhone**

With the release of the new iPhone 6s and 6s Plus, Apple has introduced a game-changing feature that is set to revolutionize the way we interact with our devices - 3D Touch. This innovative technology allows users to press down on their screen to access additional options, features, and functions that were previously not available. In this article, we'll delve into the world of 3D Touch and explore its various uses, benefits, and potential applications.

**Saving Images Faster**

One of the most exciting features of 3D Touch is the ability to save images quickly and easily. With just a 3D Touch gesture, you can slide up on an image and access options to save it or add it to your clipboard. This feature saves time and effort, making it ideal for professionals who need to work with multiple images throughout their day. Whether you're a photographer, graphic designer, or social media enthusiast, 3D Touch makes saving images faster and more efficient than ever before.

**Quickly Previewing Links**

Another innovative feature of 3D Touch is its ability to quickly preview links in messages. With just a tap on the link, you can access additional information about the content without having to leave your messaging app. This feature is especially useful for those who receive many links daily, such as online shoppers or social media enthusiasts. The quick preview feature makes it easier to decide whether to open the link or not.

**Faster Link Opening**

3D Touch also enables faster link opening in new tabs. No longer do you need to hold and wait for the options menu to appear - with 3D Touch, you can simply tap on the link to open it in a new tab. This feature saves time and increases productivity, making it an essential tool for anyone who spends a lot of time browsing the web.

**Quickly Replying or Calling Someone**

When you want to quickly reply or call someone, 3D Touch makes it easy. Simply tap on their contact image, and you'll be able to initiate a conversation or make a phone call with just one tap. This feature is especially useful for those who receive frequent messages or calls throughout the day.

**Email Gain New Functionality**

3D Touch also brings new functionality to the email app. With just a tap, you can slide up on an email and access options such as marking it as unread or moving it to trash. This feature makes it easier to manage your inbox and stay organized.

**Quickly Accessing Camera Features**

One of my favorite uses for 3D Touch is quickly accessing camera features. When you enable the toggle in the camera app, you'll notice that it says "Live" - this means that when you go into cameras and tap on a photo, it will become alive, allowing you to set it as your wallpaper.

**Developer's Delight**

The biggest advantage of 3D Touch is its potential for developers to create innovative new features. As the technology becomes more widespread, we can expect to see many applications that utilize 3D Touch in creative and exciting ways. From games to productivity tools, the possibilities are endless.

**A New Era of Display Technology**

For Apple, 3D Touch represents a significant step forward in display technology. By pushing the boundaries of what's possible on the screen, Apple is opening up new avenues for innovation and creativity. Whether it's more efficient workflows or immersive gaming experiences, 3D Touch has the potential to revolutionize the way we interact with our devices.

**Technical Details**

So how does 3D Touch work? When you press down on your screen, you're applying pressure to the display. The amount of pressure you apply determines the thickness of the line you draw or tool you use in apps like Notes or Pages. This feature is especially useful for creatives who need precise control over their lines and shapes.

**The Future of 3D Touch**

As developers begin to experiment with 3D Touch, we can expect to see many exciting new features and applications emerge. From improved camera functionality to innovative productivity tools, the possibilities are endless. With Apple's continued innovation and support for 3D Touch, we can look forward to a bright future of cutting-edge technology that makes our lives easier, more efficient, and more enjoyable.

**Tips and Tricks**

In addition to the exciting features mentioned above, here are a few tips and tricks to get you started with 3D Touch:

* Hold and hold on an app icon to delete it.

* Enable Live Photos in the camera app for an immersive experience.

* Use 3D Touch to quickly preview addresses or locations in Messages or Maps.

By mastering these features and experimenting with new ways to use 3D Touch, you'll unlock a whole new world of possibilities and take your iPhone experience to the next level.
