What Is Burning On This Jeep Wrangler

The Rescue Effort at Milt's Mile

We received a call about a Jeep that was stuck near the top of Milt's Mile, with possible damage from a blown tire. Our team, including Jamie, decided to head up there and assess the situation. The vehicle had been at an extreme angle for over an hour, causing oil to pour out of the engine and smoke to emanate from the exhaust.

As we arrived at the scene, Jamie was looking at pictures sent by the Jeep's owner to help us visualize the situation. It was a gloomy day with overcast skies and a temperature of around 55 degrees. The team discussed the possibility of having a spare tire for the damaged wheel and decided that they would focus on getting the vehicle out of its current position.

The next step was to identify the landmark mentioned by the Jeep's owner, which we were unable to clearly see from our location. We asked Jamie to pull up a picture to help us locate it. Once we had identified the landmark, we began our approach to Milt's Mile, excited for the challenge ahead.

Jamie explained that the vehicle had been at an extreme angle for over an hour and when they started the engine, oil was pouring out of it. They mentioned that they remembered watching one of their videos where they fixed a similar issue with a 3.6-liter V6 engine. The problem seemed to be related to crankcase ventilation, but Jamie wasn't sure about the specifics.

To address this issue, Jamie put on a catch can, which helped to contain the oil spill and prevent further damage. They also mentioned that this was not the first time they had pulled someone out of an extreme situation like this one. In fact, they had done it many times before, but they were always excited about helping others.

Jamie took the opportunity to share a bit about their personal experiences and interests. They mentioned having friends in Australia and New Zealand, where they would often watch movies like "Hunt for Red October" (which Jamie called "an awesome vid"). They also talked about their rugby team, which was nicknamed the Wellington Hurricanes. It's clear that Jamie has a strong sense of community and camaraderie with their teammates.

As we continued to work on freeing the Jeep from its predicament, Jamie shared some final thoughts about the importance of being prepared for emergencies like this one. They expressed gratitude for their rescue dog, who had helped them navigate the situation, and mentioned that they would be following up on the incident in an upcoming YouTube video.

After a few hours of hard work, we were finally able to pull the Jeep out of its stuck position. It was a satisfying feeling knowing that we had successfully resolved the issue and restored the vehicle to its original condition. The team was relieved and proud of their efforts, and they couldn't wait to share this story with their audience on YouTube.
