iPhone Xs & Xs MAX Water Test

Testing the Water Resistance of iPhone 10s and 10s Max: A Swimming Pool Experiment

In today's reel, we're putting the new iPhones to the test by dropping them inside a swimming pool for approximately 5 to 10 minutes. We want to see how well they'll hold up in case you ever jump into the pool with your phone in your pocket. The new iPhones have an IP68 rating, which means they should be able to survive with no problem.

We're starting by dropping both iPhones into the pool for 5 minutes. As we put them in there, we're checking that everything is working properly before submerging them completely. Once they're fully submerged, we start a timer and wait for 15 seconds before taking them out of the water again. This will give us an idea of whether or not the iPhones are still functional after being underwater.

The first thing we notice when we take the iPhones out of the pool is that the battery indicator starts flashing. However, everything else seems to be working fine. The screen is reacting a lot better and more responsive than other iPhones I've tested underwater or with water on the screens. This suggests that the new iPhones may have improved water resistance compared to their predecessors.

We decide to drop the iPhones in the pool again for an additional 5 minutes, just to see how they'll hold up. As we put them back in the water, we're thinking about how this will affect video recording capabilities. If you're trying to capture video underwater with your new iPhone and you're swimming in about six feet of water, it's worth testing to see if the iPhone can handle it.

After ten minutes underwater, we take the iPhones out of the pool again and dry them out. We want to check for any humidity inside the cameras or on the screens, as this is often where water damage occurs after the fact. As we inspect the devices, we notice that there's actually a little bit of water coming from inside one of the iPhones. However, after drying it out, we find that there's no humidity and the screens look good.

We decide to try out the cameras again, just to make sure everything is working properly. To our surprise, both iPhones are functioning flawlessly, even with water on the screen. This suggests that the new iPhones have improved water resistance compared to previous models.

The results of this experiment suggest that you can actually go into water with these iPhones and it won't be a big deal. The IP68 rating holds true in real-world testing, and the devices seem to be able to handle the pressure without any issues. This is great news for anyone who wants to use their iPhone underwater or in wet environments.

Stay tuned for more videos like this one, where we put various gadgets and products through rigorous tests to see how well they hold up under different conditions. Thank you for watching, and we'll see you in the next video.

you want to capture video underwater with your new iPhones five minutes underwater in a pool no problem that's just a battery indicator that the battery's low nothing much but everything seems to be functioning just fine actually even with water on the screen the screen is reacting a lot better and responsive than other iPhones I've tested underwater or with water on the screens so this time we're going to drop it for about ten minutes I know about five minutes you probably already took your phone out of the water but if you're trying to capture video on the water with your iPhone and you're swimming in about six feet then let's test to see if the iPhone can hold so let's put it back in okay so there they go six feet ten minutes and let's see if they survived all right so coming up in about 15 seconds here ten minutes underwater are the iPhone still good let's go ahead and take them out of the water and find out if it's okay to be underwater about six feet of water with the new iPhone 10s and 10's pull us so let me go ahead and take the iPhones out alright there goes the timer timer is done okay there we go is dry these out and see if there's any humidity in the camera any on the screen or anything like that that's very important because sometimes water damage happens after the fact so it doesn't happen instantly sometimes especially with phones so let's dry them out there's actually water coming from inside there a little bit so I think we might be okay so no humidity the screens look good all right so let's check this one out looks good nothing on the sensors sensors look good and this one the sensor looks good as well now will they work let's try the screens yep the screens are functional pretty good let's launch the camera here just a few tests just to make sure everything is working yep alright so it looks like you can actually go into water with these iPhones and it's not gonna be that big of a deal so there you guys have it just a quick water test on the iPhones stay tuned for more videos thank you for watching and I'll see you guys on the next one pacedhey guys in today's reel we're dropping the iPhone 10s and the new 10s max inside of a
