**Apple AirPods vs XY Pods: A Comprehensive Review**

In this review, we'll be comparing the Apple AirPods with the XY Pods to determine which one is the better option for those looking for wireless earbuds.

**Battery Life**

The XY Pods can get three hours of battery life per charge and an extra 20 hours with their case. On the other hand, the Apple AirPods can get four hours of battery life per charge and an extra 24 hours with their case. This means that the Apple AirPods have a slight edge in terms of overall battery life.

**Audio Quality**

To ensure accurate testing, I watched a video that tested the audio quality of both earbuds. After listening to them, I can conclude that the Apple AirPods sound better than the XY Pods. However, the XY Pods don't sound terrible and are still usable. One notable difference is that the XY Pods have more bass than highs, making them sound less balanced.

**Testing the Audio Quality**

To further compare the audio quality of both earbuds, I compared them side by side. The Apple AirPods sounded good, with a little more volume and bass than the XY Pods. However, overall they're still a great product.

**Mic Quality**

For the mic quality test, I spoke into each earbud to see how well they pick up sound. For the Apple AirPods, I got clear and crisp audio. For the XY Pods, I got decent audio quality, but not quite as good as the Apple AirPods.

Both earbuds have touch features that can be adjusted in settings. However, the Apple AirPods have more advanced features such as quick charging and auto connect when taken out of their case. The XY Pods also have wireless charging and normal charging options, but their touch features are limited.

**Touch Features of the XY Pods**

The XY Pods have short press on either side to play or pause music, answer or hang up calls, long press on either side to wake up Siri, double click on the right side to increase volume, triple click on the right side to go to the next song, double click on the left side to decrease volume, and a triple click on the left side to go to the previous song.

**Important Note for XY Pods**

One important note is that this button on the earbuds is used to enable charging. When you put them in their case, they will automatically turn off, but they won't start charging until you press the button to enable it. The Apple AirPods don't have this feature.

**Conclusion**

Both the Apple AirPods and XY Pods are great wireless earbuds with similar features and functions. possible i will be organizing this video into these groups packaging design connectivity battery audio quality mic quality and features i will also leave all the times of when i go over these things so you can skip around if you want okay starting out the packaging on the front of the boxes there is an image of both of the earbuds the xy pods have their name on the top left corner and some features in the bottom right corner for the xy pods it doesn't have anything else on the sides except for x y pods and on the airpods box it has apple logo and the name airpods the weight of the two boxes is very similar the back looks a bit different but overall looks pretty similar opening the two boxes you are agreed with the case for the x y pods and you're agreed with designed by apple in california for the apple airpods taking out the insert of the air pods box you are then greeted with the air pods themselves taking the plastic off the two cases we get our first look at the two side by side taking out the other things we get the manual and a charger and for the air pods we just get a charger now let's go over the design of the two products holding the cases side by side the two products seem to be the exact same color in the front of the case there's a button in the middle of the front for the xy pods but the airpods do not have any buttons in the front on the bottom the two charged the same method but i will know that the silver on the xy pods charge is a bit wider all around than the airpods now for the latch they both open the same way outside of the airpods latch is definitely feels more satisfying but they do both use magnets to keep them shut i will note that this may be the best latch i've tried on a clone device yet the latch on the xy pods does seem to be slightly off centered to the left but nothing too extreme when it comes to the back of the case there is a little button on the middle of the back of the airpods when you flip the two cases open some things to notice is there is no led between the two earbuds like the air pods there also isn't any sensor dots on the outside of the headphones on the xy pods when the headphones are out of the case you can see that they charge with two different methods the xy pods have two contact points and the airpods have two little connectors on the sides putting the headphones in the opposite case you can see that they fit nicely into each other's case they even magnetize to the bottom but they do not charge each other another minor detail is that the airpods have a fc label and other things written on the inside of the lid of the case but the xy pods do not have that now comparing the two headphones side by side the grilles are pretty much exactly the same on both of the headphones on the inner part of the headphone they both have sensors but the xy pod sensor isn't flush to the surface like the airpods they both do have little dots for the touch functions on the sides the font of the letter that indicates which side seems to be identical the bottoms of the headphones are slightly different because they have two different charging methods some things to note are on the xy pods are that they have little leds both on the earbuds and the case on the case it's right above the button and on the headphones it is right below the plastic where you touch the headphones to use the touch functions now for the connectivity all right so i'm really showing the pairing process between the xy pods and the airpods these are my personal air pods right here these are the xy pods so first i'm going to show the pairing process of the air pods let's go like this and then it says like that press connect hold it and then it pairs up just like that now i'm gonna show you the pairing process for the xy pods okay let's take these out leave them down you wait a second and then they pop up with the w1 chip that is really cool if you ask me just connect them just like that that is sick now they pair up just like the airpods now let's go check the distance test all right so i'm gonna be measuring how far the headphones go from the phone before they start disconnecting to to test the connectivity so we're gonna start with the xy pods and we're gonna see how far we go out that way until they stop playing and yeah okay i got the phone right here it's connected to the xy pods and i'll be going out there see how far it goes all right here we go all right so now i have the air pods in my ears and i'll be seeing how far i go with these ones all right now for the battery life the
