iPhone 7 - Yellow Display How to Fix

The Display Issue with iPhone 7 Plus and Other Models

In this video, the device help guy, iDevice help here, is discussing an issue he has noticed with his iPhone 7 Plus. He wants to know if others have experienced the same problem. The issue at hand is a yellowish tint on the display of his iPhone 7 Plus compared to other models.

When looking at the two iPhones side by side, one being an iPhone 7 Plus and the other an iPhone 6s Plus, it's clear that there are some noticeable differences in the displays. One of the main differences is the white color on the display. The device help guy mentions that the display of the iPhone 7 Plus has a yellowish tint to it, which he didn't notice until he held his iPhone 6s Plus next to the seven plus.

The issue seems to be specific to the iPhone 7 Plus and not just one device, as the device help guy has three iPhones in total, two of which are iPhone 7 Plus models. He also has an iPhone 7 model that is experiencing the same problem. This suggests that there may be a defect with certain displays on these devices.

To get the same amount of brightness on his iPhone 7 Plus as he does on his iPhone 6s Plus, the device help guy had to apply a filter. He mentions that if he turns on the "filter" option in the display accommodations settings, he can match the level of brightness by bringing the intensity down in the hue to about 60 or 75 percent.

This allows him to get the same effect as his iPhone 6s Plus display, although it's not an exact identical match. The device help guy is still unsure if his device has a defect, but he wanted to share this issue with others to see if they have experienced the same problem.

The device help guy also mentions that this was just a quick video on how to fix the issue and that there will be more videos coming soon. He encourages viewers to stay tuned for more content like this and to check out the comment section below for any questions or comments related to the issue discussed in this video.
