Driving the Ferrari Enzo: A Thrilling Experience

As I slipped into the driver's seat of the Ferrari Enzo, I couldn't help but feel a mix of excitement and trepidation. I was about to get behind the wheel of one of the most iconic supercars in the world, and I had no idea what to expect. My companion for this experience was Mr. Muir, who had owned the car for 15 years and was now willing to share it with me.

As we began to drive, I quickly realized that the Enzo is a car that feels incredibly light and agile. The engine purrs smoothly, and the gearbox is quick and responsive. I applied about 10% throttle to start with, feeling a bit hesitant at first as I got accustomed to the car's behavior. However, as we picked up speed, I began to feel more confident behind the wheel. The Enzo has a very distinctive sound inside, which is a mix of mechanical and V12 wail that's similar to a Carrera GT.

One of the most striking features of the Enzo is its incredible acceleration. As we shifted through the gears, I could feel the car surging forward with ease. The fourth gear over 4000 rpm was particularly exhilarating, as the Enzo seemed to want to push on and there's a stark reminder when it all goes wrong. Mr. Muir reminded me that this is a car he wants to own for another 15 years, and I couldn't help but feel a sense of respect for his passion and dedication.

After our drive in the Enzo, we headed to the Racing Service Dino, a little-known gem nestled in the middle of Italy. The service was run by Mr. Mira's great friend, Mr. Kinnick, who is often referred to as the "Godfather of Ferrari" in Japan. It turns out that he launched the Ferrari Club here back in the 70s and introduced Mr. Miura to Ferrari in the 90s.

What struck me most about Mr. Kinnick was his infectious enthusiasm for Ferrari. As we talked, I realized that these two men have shared countless stories of road trips, car collections, and adventures together. Their friendship is one that any car enthusiast can relate to, as they have a deep understanding and appreciation for the world of motorsport.

We spent some time chatting with Mr. Kinnick, who regaled us with tales of his exploits on the track. He showed us a custom exhaust system that was fitted to his Enzo, which gave a unique mechanical sound that's hard to capture in the car itself. As we talked, I realized just how much this experience had become about more than just driving an iconic car – it was about sharing moments with like-minded people who truly understand the passion and excitement of Ferrari.

As our time at Racing Service Dino came to a close, I felt grateful for the opportunity to meet Mr. Kinnick and share in his enthusiasm for Ferrari. It was a truly unforgettable experience that will stay with me for years to come. And as I looked around, I couldn't help but feel a sense of awe at the incredible collection on display – including one of the few Japanese cars ever seen here.

A Special Room: McLaren and More

As we explored the facility, we stumbled upon a room that seemed like an afterthought. But as we made our way inside, I was surprised to find that it's anything but ordinary. The first thing that struck me was the presence of a McLaren, which is one of only a handful of Japanese cars ever seen here.

What followed next was a treat for car enthusiasts. We discovered a unique exhaust system fitted to Mr. Kinnick's Enzo, which gave a distinctive sound that's hard to capture in the car itself. As we listened to the engine roar, I couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement and wonder at the sheer variety of cars on display.

Throughout our visit, I was struck by the incredible dedication and passion of Mr. Kinnick. His love for Ferrari is infectious, and it's clear that he has spent his life sharing that passion with others. From the early days of launching the Ferrari Club to introducing Mr. Miura to Ferrari, his story is one that any car enthusiast can relate to.

In the end, our visit to Racing Service Dino came to a close, but I knew that this experience would stay with me for years to come. And as I looked around at the incredible collection on display, I couldn't help but feel a sense of gratitude towards Mr. Kinnick and his team for sharing their passion and enthusiasm with us.

A Day in Japan: Ferrari Friendship and Adventure

As we continued our visit to Racing Service Dino, I found myself caught up in a series of events that would change the course of my day forever. It all started when I met Mr. Mira's great friend, Mr. Kinnick, who introduced me to his incredible collection of cars.

What struck me most about this experience was the sense of camaraderie between these two men. They have shared countless stories of road trips, car collections, and adventures together, and it's clear that their friendship is one that will last a lifetime.

As we talked, I realized just how much this experience had become about more than just driving an iconic car – it was about sharing moments with like-minded people who truly understand the passion and excitement of Ferrari. And as I looked around at the incredible collection on display, I couldn't help but feel a sense of awe at the sheer variety of cars on show.

Throughout our visit, Mr. Kinnick regaled us with tales of his exploits on the track, from racing to road trips and everything in between. His enthusiasm is infectious, and it's clear that he has spent his life sharing that passion with others.

As our time at Racing Service Dino came to a close, I felt grateful for the opportunity to meet Mr. Kinnick and share in his enthusiasm for Ferrari. It was truly unforgettable experience that will stay with me for years to come – one that will always be remembered as a day of adventure, excitement, and above all, Ferrari friendship.

The Enzo: A Thrilling Ride

As I reflect on my time driving the Ferrari Enzo, I am still trying to process just how exhilarating an experience it was. From the moment I got behind the wheel, I knew that this car was something special – but nothing could have prepared me for the thrill ride that awaited.

The Enzo's incredible acceleration and responsive gearbox made it feel like a dream come true as I hurtled down the track. And yet, despite its incredible performance, the car feels surprisingly agile and manageable, making it an absolute joy to drive.

As we shifted through the gears, I could feel the car surging forward with ease, its V12 engine roaring in perfect harmony with the shifting gearbox. It was truly a magical experience – one that will stay with me for years to come.

Looking back on my time driving the Enzo, I am still trying to process just how memorable an experience it was. From the incredible acceleration and responsive gearbox to the stunning design and unique sounds of the car, every aspect of the Enzo is designed to deliver an unforgettable driving experience.

In short, the Ferrari Enzo is a truly special car that will leave even the most seasoned drivers in awe. And as I reflect on my time behind the wheel, I am still trying to process just how thrilling and exhilarating an experience it was – one that I will always treasure.

Muir who doesn't speak English so we're not going to be having a nice long chat on this drive but I think we'll find a way to communicate because this is just one of those experiences it's okay I am very happy that's that's that's as much as you need to say okay thank you we found a way to communicate this is great we're using Google Translate to converse in affari answer I mean I know there's a bit of a language barrier right yeah but he just said after lunch you drive no ways like we need to get the new common translate cuz he was literally like yeah yeah after lunch you drive and I was like what no no now he was like you get strapped the ends I wanted to be my grandfather's like like since you're here and since he bought the ends are outs you might as well have a go sure no I agree that's exactly how I was feeling was like he's bought it out I may as well have a go I popped outside because I have a declaration to make I have a huge man crush on mr. Muir this is my new favorite human being in the world he's everything I wanted from a Ferrari collector and a Japanese elder gentleman he's so wise he's so philosophical if it comes out of his mouth he's gold and I wish he would let me film him properly and put subtitles below but he's just not comfortable being on camera and with my lack of Japanese and his unfortunate lack of English he just doesn't really want to sort of get anything mistranslated so I have to keep what he's saying to me is sort of you know just little little gems of gold wisdom up in my mind from me myself and just tell you he he's such a cool guy and if he's about to let me drive his Enzo having just met me two hours ago for the very first time I mean he didn't even know about drive the world he knew I had a YouTube channel he'd seen a couple of my videos didn't really know why I was here and he's like yeah supposedly go drive my Enzo's anyway that was a delicious katsu curry I'm gonna try and calm my nerves and enjoy what what honestly I mean I said earlier it was a boyhood dream to sit inside an Enzo I might be about to drive one so start okay Finnick okay oh okay oh okay yes guys I'm going point of view I don't know how else to do this but also I don't want you to see me cry which we Winker Winker okay cuz the indicator and yeah okay so this goes on here okay no problem no problem Wow so yes when I was growing up this was my laugher i this is the ultimate car that I lusted after at the age of 12 13 14 and obviously the car that Michael Schumacher helped to launch my all-time f1 idol so to be sad now is ridiculous and I wish I wish mr. Muir and I could converse a little better but anyway I'll have to wait to tell him my thoughts when we get out and I can use google translator it's going to be a bit of a short motorway blast but I honestly don't care gentlemen I'm driving an Enzo okay when going car well visibility is is actually pretty good once you start looking out the back take things nice and easy just to get used to the car it feels insanely light that has to be said it also feels like it wants to absolutely fly we're in fourth gear at 3000 rpm and when like four and a half five thousand or it started to kick in Wow it just immediately feels so special the gearbox fully enough doesn't actually feel that slow especially in comparison to the Challenge Stradale are gonna go down one more gear the this is brilliant I really don't want to take the piss because as I got in you may have seen on camera mr. Muir reminded me he's owned this car for 15 years and I think he wants to own it for another 15 years I'm gonna be very respectful he's an absolute hero for letting me have this experience but I think calendar world morg oh it's actually quite smooth through the gears I mean I've applied about 10% throttle so far literally maximum 10% throttle it's also a very different noise inside the cabin to outside I think we all know that v12 wail of an Enzo in here it's a bit more mechanical a bit like a Carrera GT I suppose okay so we'll come back down through the gears as third again a bit of a bump here you just wants you to out really floor it's just my I have no idea what kind of passenger mr. Muir is whether he's hating every second of this or secretly quite enjoying it that's when it wants to pick up and go fourth gear over 4000 rpm you really start to feel it it's just wanting to push on and there's a stark reminder when it all goes wrong so we'll keep it nice and cool Wow guys this well after my drive in the Enzo it's a few words I didn't expect to say today we have arrived at racing the service Dino a little bit of Italy in the middle of Japan this place is run by mr. Mira's great friend mr. kitty hi who it turns out is really the Godfather of Ferrari here in Japan this man launched the Ferrari Club here back I think in the 70s he introduced mr. Murai we're still I would never met mr. mirror without you can and Andre your translation was here I'm sure this thing's really just we have no super cool guys we are now still following mr. mirror in the end so we're actually going back to town he's headed back home but it gives me a chance to hear here's one of one custom to be exhaust which you get no sense of that in the car it's super mechanical inside you get no sort of tone which is kind of weird but getting a bit of it here highlight highlight of the day in terms of things you saw both of you it was a hint of that with some of the friendly banter between mr. Muir and mr. Kinnick I yes they're saying mr. Kinnick is the driver and mr. Miura is the collector and yeah I definitely got a hey who cares he let me drive it and he's got out on the road so I thought I was done there's another room guys there's another room and we're in it was you might look here and go okay well maybe it's not a specialist room one you would be wrong because firstly there's a bit of variation look no McLaren moving on we also have one of the Japanese cars one of the only Japanese cars in the collection that I've seen so farnow he was like you get struck the enzyme how about what a little welcome to seeing through glass and welcome to Japan yes I have finally made it to the place that I'd be most excited about visiting this year I'm just gonna come out and say it basically drive the world is just an excuse for me to come and visit in Japan just there's so much I want to see so much I wanted to do this week this place is fascinating to move for such a long time but we are kicking things off in style because I'm currently sat at Starbucks waiting for a local photographer called Ken's psycho to come and pick me up and whisk me away to check out a load of Ferraris I was gonna be sort of you know mysterious about it but now we're going to go looking for our is this is just gonna be so good so this isn't here that Alfred it's basically a luxury minivan sold by Toyota in Asia this one's about 75,000 USD I honestly feel like I need like a carrier pigeons you're so far away where we headed was the what's the plan today commodities that were gonna see some frogs so yeah we're going to mister Meera's collection he's old-school Ferrari collector and he's got the craziest lineups in Japan's so yes I guess this is how I stumbled into this morning I mean this is daikon star here where do I go through the rest of the week I don't know if you can get a glimpse of some of the things behind me but this is one of the most incredible collection of not just Fry's there's also a lambo here so don't worry you fry daters but I mean my heart is falling out of my mouth I don't really know where to begin we're gonna try let's just walk around talk you through everything that's in here I mean these I've got check this out so actually before I come on to these well three that we need to talk about let me just touch on this firstly because this is just wacky we are looking at kernig specials 512 BBI have never seen one of these absolutely mad I suppose you might be able to call it what the Liberty walk of its day this car actually won the 1988 Tokyo Auto it's salon it's just wild as the big stick on the windscreen suggests its turbo but that's just one of the many modifications they did to this car completely bespoke wheels body kit look how wide those rear arches are wing I mean I think Enzo Frey would have been a bit sick when he saw that but who cares these massive side air intakes I guess to cool the turbos and the engine modifications inside you get that carbon fiber a gear knob racing seats but come round the back and look how aggressive the stances of this thing of course this modified exhaust as well and these huge rear wheels I kind of love it because it's just mad but let's come on to what I guess well it's not even the center piece but three very special cars Ferrari hyper cars or mid-engined v12 sf50 Enzo and laferrari you may notice though they are not the traditional of Rosso Corsa what so Corso I'm so excited I can't talk Rosso Corsa Ferrari red these two Rosso barqueta I think is actually a historic for our color but you can order it nowadays on most cars it's a slightly darker richer shade of red the Enzo got its own bespoke custom wheels here black with the scent look super super cool such a nice spec f50 what I love is you can see the carbon-fiber weave and if you can see that through the sort of paintwork but unbelievable colors on these I think I think those are sort of bespoke wheels as well maybe at least aftermarket wheels the laferrari whilst it looks like it's Rosso barqueta is actually a one of one bespoke color this is Ross oh oh oh I think oh god my Japanese is really not good but this was a custom colour ordered by mr. mirror for his laughs right but it does kind of match barqueta so that's super nice we'll touch on one of the non Ferrari cars here you are looking at a Lamborghini Reventon delivery mileage so hardly used this car and I believe the only Reventon Kupe in Asia we saw the Roadster hanging out in Singapore but this one obviously the hardtop such a spaceship this car look at it it's absolutely mad and as I say for you Ferrari haters there you go a bit of different content moving on and back to the prancing horse we have a more classic enzo here silver with the silver wheels and tan interior oh I have always had an obsession for the Enzo this when I was growing up was my laferrari my Ferrari hyper car of the day so I've always been obsessed with them I just think if I had a million a million plus pounds that is the car that I'd probably go and buy next to it - a8 GTO with the almighty yellow light I love those but you really don't see many 288 GTO you know in comparison to F 40s laughs rise F 50s and Enzo's the GTO despoja seems to be hidden away so awesome to see this thing hiding around we're not even hiding around on display here in mr. mirrors collection but behind it is something that maybe is a touch more impressive because yes yellow f40 incredible but on the right f40 LM I think one of 20 track-focused race cars based on the f40 so unbelievable so you can see gets extended front splitter added rear wing extra downforce and I love this the fuel fillers proper racing spec fuel caps I believe correct me if I'm wrong racing aficionados one is to release the sort of pressure of the racing fuel is that right and then look at that engine boat oh so cool unbelievably rare and special to see look at the added to the front nostrils on the right another Lambo Omura it would be wrong for mr. mera to not have a mirror in his collection I think he's owned this car since his mid-20s I'm not entirely sure and then our beautiful 275 part next to him so I'm now looking at some photos of mr. cars one of the only Japanese cars in the collection that I've seen so farnow he was like you get struck the enzyme how about what a little welcome to seeing through glass and welcome to Japan yes I have finally made it to the place that I'd be most excited about visiting this year I'm just gonna come out and say it basically drive the world is just an excuse for me to come and visit in Japan just there's so much I want to see so much I wanted to do this week this place is fascinating to move for such a long time but we are kicking things off in style because I'm currently sat at Starbucks waiting for a local photographer called Ken's psycho to come and pick me up and whisk me away to check out a load of Ferraris I was gonna be sort of you know mysterious about it but now we're going to go looking for our is this is just gonna be so good so this isn't here that Alfred it's basically a luxury minivan sold by Toyota in Asia this one's about 75,000 USD I honestly feel like I need like a carrier pigeons you're so far away where we headed was the what's the plan today commodities that were gonna see some frogs so yeah we're going to mister Meera's collection he's old-school Ferrari collector and he's got the craziest lineups in Japan's so yes I guess this is how I stumbled into this morning I mean this is daikon star here where do I go through the rest of the week I don't know if you can get a glimpse of some of the things behind me but this is one of the most incredible collection of not just Fry's there's also a lambo here so don't worry you fry daters but I mean my heart is falling out of my mouth I don't really know where to begin we're gonna try let's just walk around talk you through everything that's in here I mean these I've got check this out so actually before I come on to these well three that we need to talk about let me just touch on this firstly because this is just wacky we are looking at kernig specials 512 BBI have never seen one of these absolutely mad I suppose you might be able to call it what the Liberty walk of its day this car actually won the 1988 Tokyo Auto it's salon it's just wild as the big stick on the windscreen suggests its turbo but that's just one of the many modifications they did to this car completely bespoke wheels body kit look how wide those rear arches are wing I mean I think Enzo Frey would have been a bit sick when he saw that but who cares these massive side air intakes I guess to cool the turbos and the engine modifications inside you get that carbon fiber a gear knob racing seats but come round the back and look how aggressive the stances of this thing of course this modified exhaust as well and these huge rear wheels I kind of love it because it's just mad but let's come on to what I guess well it's not even the center piece but three very special cars Ferrari hyper cars or mid-engined v12 sf50 Enzo and laferrari you may notice though they are not the traditional of Rosso Corsa what so Corso I'm so excited I can't talk Rosso Corsa Ferrari red these two Rosso barqueta I think is actually a historic for our color but you can order it nowadays on most cars it's a slightly darker richer shade of red the Enzo got its own bespoke custom wheels here black with the scent look super super cool such a nice spec f50 what I love is you can see the carbon-fiber weave and if you can see that through the sort of paintwork but unbelievable colors on these I think I think those are sort of bespoke wheels as well maybe at least aftermarket wheels the laferrari whilst it looks like it's Rosso barqueta is actually a one of one bespoke color this is Ross oh oh oh I think oh god my Japanese is really not good but this was a custom colour ordered by mr. mirror for his laughs right but it does kind of match barqueta so that's super nice we'll touch on one of the non Ferrari cars here you are looking at a Lamborghini Reventon delivery mileage so hardly used this car and I believe the only Reventon Kupe in Asia we saw the Roadster hanging out in Singapore but this one obviously the hardtop such a spaceship this car look at it it's absolutely mad and as I say for you Ferrari haters there you go a bit of different content moving on and back to the prancing horse we have a more classic enzo here silver with the silver wheels and tan interior oh I have always had an obsession for the Enzo this when I was growing up was my laferrari my Ferrari hyper car of the day so I've always been obsessed with them I just think if I had a million a million plus pounds that is the car that I'd probably go and buy next to it - a8 GTO with the almighty yellow light I love those but you really don't see many 288 GTO you know in comparison to F 40s laughs rise F 50s and Enzo's the GTO despoja seems to be hidden away so awesome to see this thing hiding around we're not even hiding around on display here in mr. mirrors collection but behind it is something that maybe is a touch more impressive because yes yellow f40 incredible but on the right f40 LM I think one of 20 track-focused race cars based on the f40 so unbelievable so you can see gets extended front splitter added rear wing extra downforce and I love this the fuel fillers proper racing spec fuel caps I believe correct me if I'm wrong racing aficionados one is to release the sort of pressure of the racing fuel is that right and then look at that engine boat oh so cool unbelievably rare and special to see look at the added to the front nostrils on the right another Lambo Omura it would be wrong for mr. mera to not have a mirror in his collection I think he's owned this car since his mid-20s I'm not entirely sure and then our beautiful 275 part next to him so I'm now looking at some photos of mr. Mira here on the right and this is mr. cake i kk k TK there we go that's my japanese pronunciation for you we are about to go and visit mr. kitty cat because my understanding is he was one of the first guys to import Ferraris into japan and as you can see here these guys have been mates forever we've got the Countach and they're 512 there they've got these big drives I mean these photos are so cool got the kids hanging out in the Lambo I love it and then look at I mean what a photo is that that could be Evo right now yeah absolutely to see so lots of heritage you can see here in Japan for Ferrari and for Lambo unbelievable boys and girls I'm in a knit boyhood dream achieved I have always wanted to have an Enzo experience I did I had no idea about this no idea can just say we're gonna go and check out some cool fries today now mr. Muir is about to jump in and drive me to go meet his well I thought it was like his really close friend but it turns out that mr. kitty or common was named Kitty Kim anyway apparently they haven't spoken for 30 years because they own rival Ferrari dealerships so if you're wondering why so many of the cars here and delivery mileage that's that's the reason we'll get into it a little bit more later as you've witnessed mr. Miura to Ferrari and in the 90s when Japan was slagging off the f40 he took his own car out onto a banked circuit at the motorway to prove it could do over 200 miles an hour this guy is an absolute hero and seeing the two of them interact is amazing I think any of us car guys can relate to like great car friendships they've also shared so many stories road trips car collections just adventures and you can see it in their eyes when they chat when they talk even though I have no clue what they're saying it's somehow relatable so you know it's going to hang around them I just want to be in their presence because these are two Ferrari great of the world let alone Japan I'm not wearing a seat belt but I don't care this is worth risking my life for guys what a day I mean thank you both so much we would have got nowhere with us mr. mirror Wow yeah mr. Miura is the collector and yeah I definitely got a hey who cares he let me drive it and he's got out on the road so I thought I was done there's another room guys there's another room and we're in it was you might look here and go okay well maybe it's not a specialist room one you would be wrong because firstly there's a bit of variation look no McLaren moving on we also have one of the Japanese cars one of the only Japanese cars in the collection that I've seen so far\n"
