I was admiring the graphics card right now and I think yeah maybe he's admiring the graphics card but realistically I think he's trying to figure out where to plug it in and how to plug it in because right now the tubes are hanging down in the spot where the where he's seeing the graphics card is supposed to be and he's probably also figuring out which um which of the i o shield plates he's supposed to remove. Yeah there you go but wrong plate, he took the top plates off most of the time it's the wrong way there he's taking off the next one now you see the blank top one you just gotta put that in and there yeah he's maybe he's admiring it a little bit but yes at this point he's just like sitting there going ah the tubes are on the back of the graphics card just lying there is this okay um maybe I can fix this somehow hmm, that's what I think he's doing there all right moving on see he's trying to adjust the tubes trying to see trying to get out of the way of the front here we go.

The next day it looks like yeah pull the screwdriver out the wire management i gotta say really nice but fractal cases are known for making it easy to do wire management so great good good section. Okay, so I had to take the CPU cooler off it looks like and so he's just going to redo some thermal paste using the old school um the old school spread method was perfectly fine he said his i think in an interview he said his dad got him into computers a long time ago so a long time ago the spread method was the method so that's probably what he learned. Oh yeah ram is in there everything looks like it's plugged in good from this end CPU cooler, the tubes are on the correct side here he is turning it on there you go oh okay all right i see somebody on youtube cut out the part where he did it wrong where he installed the cooler incorrectly it so if we go back here you can see the tubes are on the wrong side which had the uh the the display upside down technically so he went in back in there that's why he had to pull the cooler off and put the tubes over on this side however in the software for this this CPU cooler you don't actually need to do that um there is a little it's buried it's not well documented in there but it's it's in there that you can just flip the display around without having to flip the cooler off.

But good exercise and i guess maintaining your equipment and thermal paste application either way for henry and there you go looks looks nice RGB lit up looks solid the tubes kind of hang a little bit nicer fortunately now that they're on that side they're not as it's not as tight of a bend but now he has it hanging onto the side of the graphics card so yes the end or more realistically just the beginning yeah yeah you know how pcmr goes when you think you're done you're not let's get back up to the main camera.

When I got my wife into the Witcher Netflix show I couldn't help but tell her a little bit of the backstory as to why Henry Cavill wanted that role. Video games well books too showed her some of the interviews and he talked about being a PC gamer and all that, and she couldn't believe that Henry Cavill like me is a nerd to me it makes perfect sense I've thought about this a lot in the past and have brought it up to my wife as well growing up and going through high school a lot of us are aware of the theater kids or theater nerds i myself was friends with a few one thing they all liked games be that video games or board games or things like Dungeons and Dragons some were into computers as well. The way I see it, a lot of the actors actresses celebrities artists etc are these theater kids from generations past so I find it kind of odd that so many people get blindsided when they find out that celebrity celebrities they idolize are into video games Dungeons and Dragons, and other things most people call nerdy or geeky but hey that's just my viewpoint on all that.

never built a computer before in interviews that i've seen and that's a good thing to do for your first couple of builds once you get before you get comfortable with all that stuff he's happy he put the cooler on looking at the manual to see where to get everything uh i guess put in it's an nzxt well he's looking at the cooler it's not an nzxc case that looks like a fractal defined case whoa hold on let's stop here um nzxt cooler that's one of the the new ones right there one of the new krakens with lcd display that's a razer keyboard there's a headset back there i think back here uh a trident z rgb ram can't tell the timings from here that's a ryzen cpu says ryzen 9 so either a 3900x or a 3950x that's a 2080 ti over there so this is looking like a bc system and look at all that nvme that dude is gonna be playing some fat games see sonic power supply back there solid choice and an rog crosshair motherboard back here i think this is the monitor it looks let's see it's a rog pg27q okay that's a 27 inch version of what i have i have the the 24 inch version of that one so yeah pretty good part selection that i can tell so far uh oh yeah you got that first person camera action going on double checking the manuals never a bad thing so looks like he's getting ready to put the cpu in okay there it is ryzen uh yeah no little gold pins are sensitive they gotta fit right you gotta be gentle he's don't try to force the cpu in if it doesn't seem like it's fitting right double check it you gotta match the arrows on this one so he probably didn't realize that at first so he's adjusting it and uh well there you go really cautiously well okay that was actually the wrong way now he's readjusting it there we go and uh yeah gotta really cautiously putting the zip lever down i mean it could feel jarring the first time you do it so i don't blame him for doing it that way nowadays just like crank yes thumbs up you got the cpu in good job now for the cpu cooler looks like he's going to stick with the stock thermal paste perfectly fine especially for your first time you can especially on an aio so getting that screwed in and all that looking at the manual there flipped it as it looks trying to figure out where he's gonna put the aio and the fans and get it all mounted up that's smart connecting all the cables to the power supply before you put it into the shroud
