**The Ultimate Test: Drop Testing Four AirPods Cases**

In this video, we put four different AirPods cases through their paces to see how they hold up in the wild. From ultra-rugged catalysts to super-cheap stretchy cases, we test them all to find out which one comes out on top.

**The Ultra-Rugged Catalyst**

First up is the ultra-rugged catalyst case. This beast of a case is designed to withstand even the toughest conditions. We put it through its paces by dropping it straight down from a significant height to see how it fares.

As expected, this case performed like a pro. It didn't even come undone, and only had a few minor scuffs on the top and back. The case itself was still intact and perfectly good, despite being subjected to extreme forces.

**The Star Climber Series**

Next up is the Star Climber series case from Mombasi. This case has a similar design to the catalyst but with a slightly different look. We put it through the same test as before to see how it holds up.

To our surprise, this case did incredibly well. The AirPods were launched and broken, but the case fared pretty well, only having a couple of scuffs. It's clear that this case is designed to withstand some serious punishment.

**The Carbon Case**

Now we move on to the carbon case from Mombasi. This case has a sleek and minimalist design that looks super good. We're worried that it might not hold up to the test, but we'll see how it does.

Unfortunately, our worst fears were confirmed. The case came apart at the seams, and both AirPods were launched into space. The case itself was broken, with only a small piece left attached to the metal casing.

**The Carbon Case (Again)**

For our final test, we're putting the same carbon case through its paces again. We drop it straight down from a significant height to see how it holds up this time around.

This time, things didn't go so well for the carbon case. It got slammed with scuffs and damage, but somehow managed to stay intact. The AirPods were still launched into space, however, which is a bit of a letdown.

**The Final Showdown**

Now it's time to put our final two cases through their paces. We've got the ultra-scuffed case from Mombasi, and we're not sure what to expect from this one.

Unfortunately, this case did not hold up well at all. It fell apart immediately, with only a small piece left attached to the metal casing. The AirPods were also destroyed in the process.

**The Last Test**

Finally, we've got our ultra-rugged catalyst case for the final test. We drop it straight down from a significant height to see how it holds up this time around.

This case performed like a pro once again. It didn't even break open, and only had a few minor scuffs on the top and back. The case itself was still intact and perfectly good, despite being subjected to extreme forces.

**The Verdict**

After putting all four cases through their paces, we can conclude that the ultra-rugged catalyst case is the clear winner. It performed amazingly well in every test, and held up to some serious punishment. The Star Climber series case from Mombasi came close second, but ultimately fell short.

If you're looking for a case that can withstand just about anything, look no further than the ultra-rugged catalyst. But if you want a more affordable option with still good performance, the Star Climber series might be the way to go.

protection airpods pro case pretty strong looking case you'd think could stop it we got a mono carbon case for air pods pro fully carbon case looks really really cool the mo bossy airpods case looks pretty protective pretty strong we'll see how it does we've got these star climber series you need tea looks pretty strong hopefully it'll stop some stuff we got these ones the vrs premium case they look really good they're kind of wider than you think and look weird on the back but hopefully they can do pretty well and we got our cheapest one i'm not really sure yeah what the brand is but it's just a cheap silicon case with a nice carabiner and we're gonna be starting with this one all right got my partner in crime down there who's gonna help me out we're gonna start with the super cheap one just do one drop down to the ground see how it does ready get set go so as you can see here we lost the lid so it's kind of a big thing the case seems to be pretty much intact a little bit of scuffing and the air pods themselves a little bit scuffed a couple of scuffs on the bottom but that's about it so we just dropped the first one the cheap one now we're gonna be dropping the the second cheapest one i think is this one this is the unity one i'm gonna do this one looks pretty strong and hopefully it'll stop it's actually pretty nice feeling case kind of like more rugged feel for sure but we'll see how it does go alright so here we have bottom of the case fell off there's a couple scuffs on the case as well as on the airpods themselves but overall this has done pretty well made it so it's not totally destroyed just a couple scuffs right there and it's good all right we got four cases left here all right let's do the this is the vrs this is the the nice aesthetic looking one it does look pretty nice this little leather cable but will it protect your stuff we'll have to see pretty nice looking case go oh jeez so with this one we can also see we lost the top even though this did have a part to glue it onto the top we lost the top of the case and it's disconnected as well as a lot of scuffing yeah the case got demolished now we got the mo bossy all right this is a pretty pretty rugged looking one and it's i think it'll do pretty good why is it not opening oh someone has a clip on the side okay so it even has a clip so this thing better be strong i don't know how i'd like to use this case in real life but pretty rugged all right go oh that one seemed to did a little bit better as you can see here the case this is the first case to stay fully on which is impressive the airpods still got launched got a little scuffing on both of them but overall just did pretty good all right let's get into the big boys oh yeah so this one's fully carbon i'm pretty sure this was rugged the catalyst let's see how this one does this one is a beefy boy and i would honestly be very disappointed if it did bad but i will say i did one by uag the last time i did this had a case very similar to this very big and rugged but it did horrible it literally broke off like so easily go oh yeah now the really heavy duty catalyst it didn't even come undone it had scuffed there a little on the top and some on the back but other than that this thing absolute tank nothing case is intact perfectly good all right these are our survivors of the four we have the mombosie the carbon case this one star climber series and the catalyst actually did it very well so now we're gonna be dropping them i'll be throwing them straight up in the air so they get way more height two of them didn't survive this one and this one the cheapest ones the first two did not survive all right we're gonna start with this one now we're tossing this thing straight up in the air oh no so with the drop of this case both airpods were launched and broken bottom part was dislodged the case fared pretty well just a couple scuffs not terrible but the airpods absolutely demolished next one we're gonna test for round two is the mombasi one mobasi not really sure but it's a nice case it's got that fake carbon look to it it looks pretty nice we're going to see how it does that did pretty good i can already tell as you can see here the airpods did in fact it's like an openness as you can see here the airpods did in fact stay in this case has a little couple scuffs all right now for the carbon case i'm really worried for this one it looks super good it just doesn't seem it is very good actually the first time we got some nice scuffage right there but pretty minimalist damage oh we got some more scuffage but here goes the carbon case oh no so for the all carbon case we had a lot of damage the air pods were broken the case came completely off we had a little piece there the actual case is in there and then there's a metal uh metal casing right here which is totally absolutely demolished all right now we're rocking with the catalyst this is our final one this one is really strong actually at least so far it didn't even break open but we'll see how it does when it goes higher oh here we go wow all right so we got the catalyst this is the second drop we got some nice new scuffage right here and this part actually broke off from the carabiner which really doesn't affect the case but let's check the buds they didn't even come out oh the case is a little mangled there dang it all right so this is round three we have two survivors they got pretty mangled but technically they did survive so we'll be chucking these ones straight up in the air and just seeing how they do all right we're going to start with the mobabi mo mobasi all right let me throw this right here just so we can oh geez and that's some demolition with this case you can see that two of the airpods did in fact survive we lost this casing and the lid came completely off all right now for the catalyst shoot as you can see the catalyst broke open this time both airpods were destroyed there's some new scuffs otherwise the case is pretty much intact it's a little bumpy around the edges kind of displaced but all right now we're gonna do a demolition round we're just gonna finish them off we got the ultra scuffed
