FINALLY Giving The Hatch The Paint Job It Deserves!

I don't have to put a big mini Tire on the front of this thing I got to get going to do some other stuff but we're going to be leaving the hatch in Adam's care and and I I don't want to shove it down your guys's throat I don't want to be one of those YouTubers but I'd like to invite you to my channel if you want to see all the progress all the videos I'll probably have 10 plus videos yeah definitely go check out Adam body vision and he'll be covering the whole process just like how I did on the wagon yeah exactly it'll be the same thing he needs to get done at least the hatch isn't as bad as Wagga was I know I'm looking forward to I've been doing some bigger cars lately I'm looking forward to doing a smaller car that's in my element this is what I started off doing man said it's my first car in high school was actually a EK hats yeah this is actually my first car this actual car was my first one and we're gonna do other stuff too like this this has gotta stay right like oh yeah we gotta get a new Jack In The Box and tenant dude look how clapped he is and then yeah I probably leave these stickers down here probably take the sick week ones off for now but uh yeah that's about it we got a couple little spots we got to fix on the body I'm gonna do some body work on this girl this is where the Dodge hit the back of the hatch but try not to make too much work for you there's a couple little dents here and there she's not perfect I love it if it was perfect and ready to go I wouldn't be messing with it so I'm glad it needs a little bit of my touch next time you see it it'll be uh the same car but better but yeah definitely go check out Adam's channel for progress on the hatch I'm excited man yeah appreciate it yeah I'll see you around I'm gonna be um blowing up your phone when I have questions so finally getting the love it deserves hope you guys are happy I got the hatch dropped off over at Adams and I'm back over here and why it's about to get the racetrack fired back up because it has not ran since sick week yep so as you guys saw in the sick week videos on the last day I kind of caused some self-inflicted problems with the high pressure fuel system in the truck so I sent all that out to xrg had them go through everything make sure it was all still good to go uh had them clean the injectors and everything after them a little mishap so that's all back got it reinstalled in the truck and should be good to go I've got a couple other things I want to do to it today and then I think we're gonna take it back to the track later this week and finally run it out the quarter mile like we had intended to do on sick week yeah now you're prepared you got the parachute on back there yep so now if it gets a little squirrely up top I'm not as worried you know you can throw the laundry get it squared away but uh yeah we're gonna fire this thing up see if it runs diesel cold start there it goes sorry to stop you guys there but that's gonna do it for today's video why it's truck is back up and running we're hoping to get it out to the track next week and the hat has dropped off for paint which I'm very excited about I was really indecisive about it but I really do love how they look all one color so I think that's why I'm gonna go ahead and pull the trigger on going red everywhere if we're gonna have a chance to paint it and make it nice we might as well change it up a little bit and it just gets me excited for the tube chassis Civic as well talked about passing down the carbon fiber doors to this thing I have some stuff in the works on this thing for anyone wondering I haven't given an update on the tube chassis Civic in quite some time but we're doing it right the first time boys when it comes out I want it to be legit and stuff is happening behind the scenes so hopefully we can get some parts here soon and start getting to work on this thing that is my goal and this actually has the same front end that the hatch is switching over to so this is a 99 you can see it has these indentations for uh fog lights right here the bumper section right here is a little smaller just looks a little cleaner overall so the hatch and the tube chassis Civic will have the same front end on them but other than that guys that's gonna do it for this video hope you enjoyed and we'll see you later oh

"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enwhat'd you bring us today George well oh figured this one could use a tune-up this thing left a lot nicer yeah than it is now straighten this out for you but I figured you might want to keep it like that because there's more room for you know stuff over there to do something cool this side real tight that side real open that's good that's the side we're going to be working on over there that's kind of what we figured so we might just uh it might lead to that getting even more pushed in the next time Garza drives it you're gonna hit the wall with a little more speed next time so uh we got the case swap Miata back over here if you guys know this is Garza's burnout rig and uh cleaner has requested that we upgrade this thing a little bit she needs to make some more power as you guys have seen it struggles to pop the tires because it's just a stock K and uh we're gonna change that for Garza so we're gonna upgrade him get him some uh forced induction get a little turb ski on this thing and get this thing ripping so uh yeah George just got this thing over get her dropped off and here soon we're gonna be working on the Miata and uh getting her popping some tires get her rip in second third gear we need her singing so hopefully this thing will hold on because he freaking abuses this poor car he'll burn more tires less clutch yeah yeah that's what we need bad as us with the dead batters no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no foreign foreign I don't know dude that was pretty solid that was only first gear though yeah definitely need some second or third gears hey she's still ripping pretty good though I'm impressed so we just need that but in like fourth year someone to fix it and that's their test drive you know it's gonna be a good day we had to make sure the motor was still good yeah solid she's good to go boys a little overheat cold engine oil I mean what more could you ask for gave me a little bit of a squeal when I shut it off oh that was the radiator cap yeah a little hot it's all good solid well she's in good hands yep next time you guys see it should be uh a little more spice yeah a lot more spicy Garza all right boys the unit all right see you later what's up guys I'm very excited today because we're getting ready to load up the hatch and a lot of you guys have been asking for this for a very long time and I've wanted to see it happen for a very long time but today we are taking this over to our friend Adams over at bodevision if you guys remember he is the guy that painted wago for us and he hit me up recently and he had a spot open up and he's like hey you want to bring the hatch down and we can get that thing looking good get it repainted get the body work done and I was like you know what I think it's about time so you guys remember last time I just had to hatch out we damaged some stuff in the all-wheel drive system but we got that fixed we just got a stock transfer case in there right now so it's all back together it's running fine right now probably shouldn't launch it too hard we might break that stock one but uh it's just been sitting here collecting dust this thing has been through hell and back it has all of the original panels on it besides the doors from when I very first got this car this was my first car when I got it I was 16 years old as far as Cosmetics go I have not done anything to the car since I got it I just like to go fast and making it look nice was not in the budget so I'm really excited to finally get this thing cleaned up I still have the freaking eBay halo headlights on it we're thinking about switching those out I ordered a brand new front bumper brand new fenders brand new hood I'm actually going to be switching over to the 99 to 2000 front end this is the 96 to 97 front end so we are going to be updating the front end of the car I'm probably going to get rid of these little ghetto hood latches just all the I mean look at this it's held on with freaking two Phillips screws and then also a self-tapper they're all rusted up I don't know what we're gonna do about the hood exit just yet on the new hood but we're gonna try to completely redo the hatch here get her looking good get a front lip on there the bumper won't be held on by zip ties anymore get rid of all the janky stuff that this thing has going on also one of the First videos on the channel was a video of me rolling the fenders on the hatch here and that was to fit a 26 inch tall Mickey Thompson back when it was front wheel drive and now that the car is all-wheel drive there's never going to be a reason for me to try to fit that big of a front tire on this thing so we got new fenders I won't have to roll them out as far I'm still probably going to roll them but not as ridiculous as we did on these I had to cut the bumper to fit those tires as well um you know this freaking side strip's falling off I don't know what I want to do about the carbon fiber doors just yet either we'll talk about that when we get over there but I kind of wanted to paint the whole car red there is a chance we might put the stock doors back on it and save these bad units for the tube chassis Civic over there because it's going to need some carbon fiber doors and I don't know if I want to buy a whole nother set when the hatch is still kind of A Streetcar kind of a race car but today boys will be the start of getting the hatch all cleaned up and getting it painted and just giving this thing the love it truly deserves because it's been clapped out for quite some time it's been fast but clocked out but I think it's about time we start making it look good foreign so you just hit both of those two buttons on the switch panel fuel pump they'll turn green and then the red button is the start button and it is a dog box so when you go into first you have to just like just be quick with don't just gently put it in first you know okay but it's still all the same it's all the same yeah well guys we got the hatch over here at Adam's shop and there's actually a new shop right yeah exactly long story short I get kicked out of my old shop the owner sold the property they're kind of out from under me so he's like you've got a weekend to get all your stuff out of here and just be gone but it actually worked out for the better because now my like my overhead is nothing I'm at home so we got it like this building already existed that's why it's so short we just kind of built the extension and then poured the slab fills in the walls and it's not a lot of room but it's enough for what I gotta do it's perfect so you did an awesome job on the wagon when we brought that to you and that was like almost two years ago now yeah and uh yeah Adam hit me up wanting to do something to the Hat since he had some stuff free up and uh here she is so we got her pulled in I brought the factory doors as well I'm being really indecisive about the carbon fiber doors because I really don't want to paint over them just in case for whatever reason I want to resell them or do something else with them once they're painted it kind of you know just defeats that nice carbon fiber finish so part of me is just wanting to put the stock doors on it for right now have him get it painted like that see how that looks because we did save some weight with the carbon fiber doors but it's nothing too crazy and the hatch isn't a dedicated race car at this point I mean it's pretty race car you know the fact that it has the dog box and everything in it but it's still not going to affect it that much and like I said we might want to use those carbon fiber doors for the tube chassis Civic or I might just get another pair but they're like 2500 bucks to three grand a pair for carbon fiber doors I just don't know if it's that necessary for the hatch right now so this is what we're gonna do we're gonna have these doors painted see how it looks all done up and we'll take these ones off and if I want to I might get another set just for the hatch and maybe we can flip them back and forth when we go to race but realistically it's only like 60 pounds so it's been going back and forth in my head but it looks like we're going to be redoing the whole front end here I got brand new parts on the way to your place new bumper fenders uh we have some headlights to get ordered I still need to order the front grille as well because that changes with the uh 99 and newer front-end conversion and after talking to Adam I think we're going to be painting all of the hatch red so if you look on the doors right here it has these black moldings on the side we're going to go over that with red we're going to paint the mirrors red the whole car is going to be all red the door handles the side skirts and then the back lip right here as well we still need to order a front lip oh is that a 99 2000 oh we're ready to go yeah so you'll just have to paint the inside of that exactly paint that red but that was going to go on my four-door but I'm going to be selling that car anyways it was my old daily and I'm not gonna spend the time painting that one if I'm just going to be selling the car so we'll throw it on this one well that works out we're going to be changing some small stuff as well like the hood latches and then these guys like we just talked about before we left but now that the car's all-wheel drive I don't have to put a big mini Tire on the front of this thing I got to get going to do some other stuff but we're going to be leaving the hatch in Adam's care and and I I don't want to shove it down your guys's throat I don't want to be one of those YouTubers but I'd like to invite you to my channel if you want to see all the progress all the videos I'll probably have 10 plus videos yeah definitely go check out Adam body vision and he'll be covering the whole process just like how I did on the wagon yeah exactly it'll be the same thing he needs to get done at least the hatch isn't as bad as Wagga was I know I'm looking forward to I've been doing some bigger cars lately I'm looking forward to doing a smaller car that's in my element this is what I started off doing man said it's my first car in high school was actually a EK hats yeah this is actually my first car this actual car was my first one and we're gonna do other stuff too like this this has gotta stay right like oh yeah we gotta get a new Jack In The Box and tenant dude look how clapped he is and then yeah I probably leave these stickers down here probably take the sick week ones off for now but uh yeah that's about it we got a couple little spots we got to fix on the body I'm gonna do some body work on this girl this is where the Dodge hit the back of the hatch but try not to make too much work for you there's a couple little dents here and there she's not perfect I love it if it was perfect and ready to go I wouldn't be messing with it so I'm glad it needs a little bit of my touch next time you see it it'll be uh the same car but better but yeah definitely go check out Adam's channel for progress on the hatch I'm excited man yeah appreciate it yeah I'll see you around I'm gonna be um blowing up your phone when I have questions so finally getting the love it deserves hope you guys are happy I got the hatch dropped off over at Adams and I'm back over here and why it's about to get the racetrack fired back up because it has not ran since sick week yep so as you guys saw in the sick week videos on the last day I kind of caused some self-inflicted problems with the high pressure fuel system in the truck so I sent all that out to xrg had them go through everything make sure it was all still good to go uh had them clean the injectors and everything after them a little mishap so that's all back got it reinstalled in the truck and should be good to go I've got a couple other things I want to do to it today and then I think we're gonna take it back to the track later this week and finally run it out the quarter mile like we had intended to do on sick week yeah now you're prepared you got the parachute on back there yep so now if it gets a little squirrely up top I'm not as worried you know you can throw the laundry get it squared away but uh yeah we're gonna fire this thing up see if it runs diesel cold start there it goes sorry to stop you guys there but that's gonna do it for today's video why it's truck is back up and running we're hoping to get it out to the track next week and the hat has dropped off for paint which I'm very excited about I was really indecisive about it but I really do love how they look all one color so I think that's why I'm gonna go ahead and pull the trigger on going red everywhere if we're gonna have a chance to paint it and make it nice we might as well change it up a little bit and it just gets me excited for the tube chassis Civic as well talked about passing down the carbon fiber doors to this thing I have some stuff in the works on this thing for anyone wondering I haven't given an update on the tube chassis Civic in quite some time but we're doing it right the first time boys when it comes out I want it to be legit and stuff is happening behind the scenes so hopefully we can get some parts here soon and start getting to work on this thing that is my goal and this actually has the same front end that the hatch is switching over to so this is a 99 you can see it has these indentations for uh fog lights right here the bumper section right here is a little smaller just looks a little cleaner overall so the hatch and the tube chassis Civic will have the same front end on them but other than that guys that's gonna do it for this video hope you enjoyed and we'll see you later ohwhat'd you bring us today George well oh figured this one could use a tune-up this thing left a lot nicer yeah than it is now straighten this out that's their test drive you know it's gonna be a good day we had to make sure the motor was still good yeah solid she's good to go boys a little overheat cold engine oil I mean what more could you ask for gave me a little bit of a squeal when I shut it off oh that was the radiator cap yeah a little hot it's all good solid well she's in good hands yep next time you guys see it should be uh a little more spice yeah a lot more spicy Garza all right boys the unit all right see you later what's up guys I'm very excited today because we're getting ready to load up the hatch and a lot of you guys have been asking for this for a very long time and I've wanted to see it happen for a very long time but today we are taking this over to our friend Adams over at bodevision if you guys remember he is the guy that painted wago for us and he hit me up recently and he had a spot open up and he's like hey you want to bring the hatch down and we can get that thing looking good get it repainted get the body work done and I was like you know what I think it's about time so you guys remember last time I just had to hatch out we damaged some stuff in the all-wheel drive system but we got that fixed we just got a stock transfer case in there right now so it's all back together it's running fine right now probably shouldn't launch it too hard we might break that stock one but uh it's just been sitting here collecting dust this thing has been through hell and back it has all of the original panels on it besides the doors from when I very first got this car this was my first car when I got it I was 16 years old as far as Cosmetics go I have not done anything to the car since I got it I just like to go fast and making it look nice was not in the budget so I'm really excited to finally get this thing cleaned up I still have the freaking eBay halo headlights on it we're thinking about switching those out I ordered a brand new front bumper brand new fenders brand new hood I'm actually going to be switching over to the 99 to 2000 front end this is the 96 to 97 front end so we are going to be updating the front end of the car I'm probably going to get rid of these little ghetto hood latches just all the I mean look at this it's held on with freaking two Phillips screws and then also a self-tapper they're all rusted up I don't know what we're gonna do about the hood exit just yet on the new hood but we're gonna try to completely redo the hatch here get her looking good get a front lip on there the bumper won't be held on by zip ties anymore get rid of all the janky stuff that this thing has going on also one of the First videos on the channel was a video of me rolling the fenders on the hatch here and that was to fit a 26 inch tall Mickey Thompson back when it was front wheel drive and now that the car is all-wheel drive there's never going to be a reason for me to try to fit that big of a front tire on this thing so we got new fenders I won't have to roll them out as far I'm still probably going to roll them but not as ridiculous as we did on these I had to cut the bumper to fit those tires as well um you know this freaking side strip's falling off I don't know what I want to do about the carbon fiber doors just yet either we'll talk about that when we get over there but I kind of wanted to paint the whole car red there is a chance we might put the stock doors back on it and save these bad units for the tube chassis Civic over there because it's going to need some carbon fiber doors and I don't know if I want to buy a whole nother set when the hatch is still kind of A Streetcar kind of a race car but today boys will be the start of getting the hatch all cleaned up and getting it painted and just giving this thing the love it truly deserves because it's been clapped out for quite some time it's been fast but clocked out but I think it's about time we start making it look good foreign so you just hit both of those two buttons on the switch panel fuel pump they'll turn green and then the red button is the start button and it is a dog box so when you go into first you have to just like just be quick with don't just gently put it in first you know okay but it's still all the same it's all the same yeah well guys we got the hatch over here at Adam's shop and there's actually a new shop right yeah exactly long story short I get kicked out of my old shop the owner sold the property they're kind of out from under me so he's like you've got a weekend to get all your stuff out of here and just be gone but it actually worked out for the better because now my like my overhead is nothing I'm at home so we got it like this building already existed that's why it's so short we just kind of built the extension and then poured the slab fills in the walls and it's not a lot of room but it's enough for what I gotta do it's perfect so you did an awesome job on the wagon when we brought that to you and that was like almost two years ago now yeah and uh yeah Adam hit me up wanting to do something to the Hat since he had some stuff free up and uh here she is so we got her pulled in I brought the factory doors as well I'm being really indecisive about the carbon fiber doors because I really don't want to paint over them just in case for whatever reason I want to resell them or do something else with them once they're painted it kind of you know just defeats that nice carbon fiber finish so part of me is just wanting to put the stock doors on it for right now have him get it painted like that see how that looks because we did save some weight with the carbon fiber doors but it's nothing too crazy and the hatch isn't a dedicated race car at this point I mean it's pretty race car you know the fact that it has the dog box and everything in it but it's still not going to affect it that much and like I said we might want to use those carbon fiber doors for the tube chassis Civic or I might just get another pair but they're like 2500 bucks to three grand a pair for carbon fiber doors I just don't know if it's that necessary for the hatch right now so this is what we're gonna do we're gonna have these doors painted see how it looks all done up and we'll take these ones off and if I want to I might get another set just for the hatch and maybe we can flip them back and forth when we go to race but realistically it's only like 60 pounds so it's been going back and forth in my head but it looks like we're going to be redoing the whole front end here I got brand new parts on the way to your place new bumper fenders uh we have some headlights to get ordered I still need to order the front grille as well because that changes with the uh 99 and newer front-end conversion and after talking to Adam I think we're going to be painting all of the hatch red so if you look on the doors right here it has these black moldings on the side we're going to go over that with red we're going to paint the mirrors red the whole car is going to be all red the door handles the side skirts and then the back lip right here as well we still need to order a front lip oh is that a 99 2000 oh we're ready to go yeah so you'll just have to paint the inside of that exactly paint that red but that was going to go on my four-door but I'm going to be selling that car anyways it was my old daily and I'm not gonna spend the time painting that one if I'm just going to be selling the car so we'll throw it on this one well that works out we're going to be changing some small stuff as well like the hood latches and then these guys like we just talked about before we left but now that the car's all-wheel drive I don't have to put a big mini Tire on the front of this thing I got to get going to do some other stuff but we're going to be leaving the hatch in Adam's care and and I I don't want to shove it down your guys's throat I don't want to be one of those YouTubers but I'd like to invite you to my channel if you want to see all the progress all the videos I'll probably have 10 plus videos yeah definitely go check out Adam body vision and he'll be covering the whole process just like how I did on the wagon yeah exactly it'll be the same thing he needs to get done at least the hatch isn't as bad as Wagga was I know I'm looking forward to I've been doing some bigger cars lately I'm looking forward to doing a smaller car that's in my element this is what I started off doing man said it's my first car in high school was actually a EK hats yeah this is actually my first car this actual car was my first one and we're gonna do other stuff too like this this has gotta stay right like oh yeah we gotta get a new Jack In The Box and tenant dude look how clapped he is and then yeah I probably leave these stickers down here probably take the sick week ones off for now but uh yeah that's about it we got a couple little spots we got to fix on the body I'm gonna do some body work on this girl this is where the Dodge hit the back of the hatch but try not to make too much work for you there's a couple little dents here and there she's not perfect I love it if it was perfect and ready to go I wouldn't be messing with it so I'm glad it needs a little bit of my touch next time you see it it'll be uh the same car but better but yeah definitely go check out Adam's channel for progress on the hatch I'm excited man yeah appreciate it yeah I'll see you around I'm gonna be um blowing up your phone when I have questions so finally getting the love it deserves hope you guys are happy I got the hatch dropped off over at Adams and I'm back over here and why it's about to get the racetrack fired back up because it has not ran since sick week yep so as you guys saw in the sick week videos on the last day I kind of caused some self-inflicted problems with the high pressure fuel system in the truck so I sent all that out to xrg had them go through everything make sure it was all still good to go uh had them clean the injectors and everything after them a little mishap so that's all back got it reinstalled in the truck and should be good to go I've got a couple other things I want to do to it today and then I think we're gonna take it back to the track later this week and finally run it out the quarter mile like we had intended to do on sick week yeah now you're prepared you got the parachute on back there yep so now if it gets a little squirrely up top I'm not as worried you know you can throw the laundry get it squared away but uh yeah we're gonna fire this thing up see if it runs diesel cold start there it goes sorry to stop you guys there but that's gonna do it for today's video why it's truck is back up and running we're hoping to get it out to the track next week and the hat has dropped off for paint which I'm very excited about I was really indecisive about it but I really do love how they look all one color so I think that's why I'm gonna go ahead and pull the trigger on going red everywhere if we're gonna have a chance to paint it and make it nice we might as well change it up a little bit and it just gets me excited for the tube chassis Civic as well talked about passing down the carbon fiber doors to this thing I have some stuff in the works on this thing for anyone wondering I haven't given an update on the tube chassis Civic in quite some time but we're doing it right the first time boys when it comes out I want it to be legit and stuff is happening behind the scenes so hopefully we can get some parts here soon and start getting to work on this thing that is my goal and this actually has the same front end that the hatch is switching over to so this is a 99 you can see it has these indentations for uh fog lights right here the bumper section right here is a little smaller just looks a little cleaner overall so the hatch and the tube chassis Civic will have the same front end on them but other than that guys that's gonna do it for this video hope you enjoyed and we'll see you later oh\n"
