"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: engreetings my beautiful lovelies hello it's Emmy welcome back to another spicy hot challenge today I'm going to be tasting this and this unfortunate thing is the Pocky one chip challenge made with the world's hottest pepper de carolina stinkin reaper yikes and this wicked Hot Chip was very kindly sent to me by lovely Eric Eric thanks so much I think what this has been very much requested by many of you for me to try after seeing some of my other spicy challenges if you've missed that I shall put the playlist up there and down below I've eaten the spicy ramen noodles I've eaten ghost chili pepper Japanese curry all kinds of good spicy things so if you're into shame and faretta and some suffering of others then go check it out so while I am resigned to the fact that this is going to be wickedly hot and I'm not so thrilled about the idea I am excited about testing various things that are supposed to be heat relievers so I've got honey for my own beehives I've got hot buttered toast I've got peanut butter and I've got some yogurt all these things are new to me I've always tried using milk to kind of alleviate the heat but I'm lactose intolerant so milk can give me a little bit of trouble which I think was part of my problem in the Japanese spicy curry which just I was ill afterwards but I think it might have had to do with the amount of milk I consume I do fine with yogurt and this is nice and cool so I'm looking forward to that but yeah this will be a little test on heat alleviation so for those who have been following my bee ventures my apologies for the delay in the bee vlogs I've got tons of them backed up but the bees are still alive I am buttoning them down for winter so look for those videos soon I just treated them with oxalic acid so thanks so much for your patience on that front videos will be coming shortly and my voice is back I still have a little bit of kind of croak eNOS and some you know phlegm but my voice is back thank you guys so much for your support if you missed my accidental s video be sure to check that out if you want to hear me you know whisper because I have laryngitis all right back to the pocky challenge so here is the box it is morbidly in the shape of a coffin one ship deadly heat and here is the information on the back and this is what it looks like inside one chip in last words the Reaper is waiting great here's a chip individually wrapped and based on this triangular shape I'm going to presume that this is a tortilla chip I'm going to be using chopsticks to administer this chip to myself because I don't want to have any all my fingers and inadvertently burn my eyeballs or you know other regions so yes chopsticks there it is oh oh so mine has broken into a couple pieces here like my other spicy challenges I'm just gonna do this kind of quickly oh yeah oh yeah definitely can smell the chili it smells a little bit vinegar it a little bit like Tabasco in that sense so can you see that so I've broken up in three pieces so I can get it all up at one time alright here we go Youth the lucky mouth it's the dust very dusty initially it is very very dusty with all that chili powder so that's what's causing all the coughing the heat kind of comes on slowly you feel it a little bit and now it's a full-on burn it's in the bottom of my tongue the top of my mouth it's already making my eyes water mm-hmm really water mm-hmm here we go get that out of my way and it's making me cry no I'm not crying because I'm sad so don't be too alarmed I'm crying because it's very hot and my body is trying to remove the heat so this heat is going from the middle of my tongue all the way back and it's burning on the sides and in the middle a little bit in the tip now and it's going down my throat as well that is very hot oh and it's making my nose run but the taste of the chip is pretty smoky it's like a toasted chili pepper the flavor wasn't there wasn't much flavor a little bit salty definitely in corn bass chip and I feel like it's altering the sound of my voice now having said that it's still relatively kind of manageable I feel a little bit of a flutter like a shiver from the heat and my nose isn't running so much as my eyes are just watering all right so there's a chip am I feeling any warmth of my body all right that's manageable I think that's what now I'm gonna blow my nose oh wow let's try some heat olivier ters my blur my vision is slightly bared blurred because I'm wearing contact lenses and the tears are kind of causing my contacts to kind of fog over oh oh and I know because many of you will ask I'm wearing Kat Von D's eyeliner and I love it it doesn't budge hopefully it's not budging but in my other spicy challenges it hasn't budged alright sesame alleviate errs this is just some plain yogurt nice and cold full fat yogurt and capsaicin which is the chemical that causes this heat sensation is apparently fat soluble so things like yogurt and dairy are supposed to alleviate the heat let's try it yeah it doesn't kind of nicely coats your tongue and it's definitely helping with the burn in the back of the throat hello wow it actually makes your heart race a little bit amazing next let's try a little bit of peanut butter this is the same idea as yogurt it has some fat and it's supposed to make the capsaicin more soluble let's see ya know that the yogurt has diminished the heat is coming back hmm I'm a huge fan of peanut butter no like that one so much and the effect is not as good yogurt is definitely better yes although it's momentary it comes right back alright let's try a piece of toasted bread starches such as bread rice are supposed to kind of scrub out some of the capsaicin and this has butter on it which is some fat which hopefully will help as well and I'm going to use some honey this is my fall harvest honey it's much darker than my spring harvest I'm super excited too delicious tastes different than the spring harvest I'm feeling some relief now good yogurt is the winner I'm gonna take some of my honey here and drizzle it on this beautiful bread oh I should have done half so I'll do it with a bite with honey and then I'll do a bite without let's try one of my favorite things in the world honey toast that's some good stinking bread a little bit chewy has a little bit sour dough in it it's not as toasted because I just toasted before I did this tasting it's much better when it's crisper but I don't know if that's really helping because at this point I think the level of heat is definitely diminishing but it tastes really good I think this is more of a morale booster I'm not sure that it's really be a ting any heat but oh I can feel it going down to the pit of my belly now oh hopefully I'll be alright alright let's try the plain side hmm toast now I'm feeling the heat in the pit of my stomach it's a bit of a cramping I don't really feel it in my mouth anymore fingers crossed that you know I don't get sick but I shall put notes in the video if I do yeah so there is the puffy one ship challenge can't say that I recommend it but I did it thank you guys so much for watching I hope you guys enjoy that one I hope you guys learned something be sure to follow me on social media share this video with your friends and I shall see my next one toodaloo\n"
