Xiaomi VIOMI V3 Review Better Than The Roborock S5 Max
"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enhi chris herren this is the vo meat version three vacuum-cleaner it's under the eco system from Xiaomi the Mesha all those different brands so runs with the me home at this particular vacuum it is now an upgraded version to the first model to the second model and this one has increased suction power so the maximum output on the turbo setting is 2600 PA it can clean up to 250 squared meters now you can either configure it to be two and one so it can vacuum and mop or you can set it up just to mop and that gives you five hundred and fifty milliliters of capacity or just the dustbin itself so only vacuuming will be also the same five hundred and fifty milliliters which is a decent capacity depending on the size of your house you won't have to empty it all the time but when it is in the two on one mode it is a reduced capacity so it's a proper robot vacuum cleaner and what do I mean by proper well because it has laser mapping so it maps out all obstacles it knows exactly where it needs to go and it's going to avoid things it's not like those earlier generation vacuum cleaners which they still unfortunately are selling the ones that ping pong off everything and I highly recommend against those particular models go for something like this so in this review we'll take a look at what we get inside the box so do a few little tests I'll give you my overall opinion on how it's being performing using it a couple of days cleaning the house here and also very quick comparison to the Robo ROK s5 max which I also own so this is what we get inside the box there's quite a bit we do get an instruction manual of course but what we've got is a two and one water tank here so this is for both sweeping up your debris so the dustbin and in the water tank or just the dustbin it's also this is five hundred and fifty milliliters that one there so that cold quite a lot that's actually a lot more than the Robo rock is five max I have and then we have the just water tank so that's again a 550 milliliters if you were only just to mop it's a shame we do lose a bit of capacity if you want to do both for them they do include a spare filter for us we get a disposable mop we have a mop here that this one's a two and one so only this is the wet part and a dry part that's for quicker mopping others see so it will dry a little bit faster and then we've got that mop right there as well they also include who are these brushes so two side brushes that are very easy to pop on and off without any problems and then of course the AC adapter and our charger dock for it and the vacuum itself so we'll just go up to this charging dock get contact there and let you know that it is then charging now the charge time is approximately four and a half hours so we'll quickly run you through the design of it right here we have at the top that 360 degree this is the laser distance mapping system so these are really the only kind of robot vacuum cleaners I recommend is once it actually properly map out where furniture is how the rooms exactly laid out the other ones just ping-pong off the walls they take too long and they just do not do a very good job and then up front you can see at the left here that's where the sweeper is this is to get into the corners but they still don't clean right in the corner so a right angled degree it's not going to get everything from it but it does a pretty good job we've got a front facing sensor that's for collision detection there and for going up to the dock of course and then our home and power buttons right there now when you lift up the lid here you gain access of course to where the dustbin is or the water tank so if I install the water tank it'll give me some feedback all right and you remove it tells me not to rinse it or put it in water because there's actually a little motor inside you don't want to do that and then the dustbin it'll give me feedback on that as well with those voice commands as you can hear and right here is our little tool that's for cleaning the brush getting rid of here and things on the bottom which I'll show you now so the underside here is very similar to say the Robo Rock it's five max that I reviewed we've got the 360-degree wheel here you can pop this out to clean here got four downwards front sensors there so that's detecting any drop so if it comes up to say some stairs it'll know not to continue and fall down so it's never actually falling down any of the robot vacuums I have they are quite quick to sense this and they know when to stop so are the two main wheels here powering it of course main brush and very easy to get in here for maintenance so that just comes up this come out so you can clean it up here and whatnot and easy to replace it too so just give you a sample now of how loud this thing is so this is the current silent I'll put it understand it now now on to medium and finally turbo which is the highest of the for suction powers so this is 2600 PA back onto Sun and so as you can hear it this is quite loud this is louder than my Robo rock s5 max so this is our application this is me home it's on Google Play Store and just wanted to quickly demonstrate you the features we get with this so you can see it'll tell us the square meters there of cleaning space that cleaning time remaining battery life when you connect up to it start and stop you got your maps and your different modes here so I'm currently of course just in vacuum boat and there are those four different levels we've got the map modes as well so there's three different water levels depending on how dirty things are you said if you weren't really high and for example different areas this can be controlled by zones you can name each of their rooms as well there really are so many settings in here this video could be about 30 minutes long if I went through absolutely everything for us but the important ones are under the settings here at 2 as well so right here we've got our secondary cleaning side sweeping mop or vacuum mode there if you want the Y pattern so Y pattern for mopping is actually simulating like manual mopping and it does a better job than the S the S mode is the standard one that I get with the robot is v max for example cleaning history scheduled cleanup so this is where you schedule he wanted to go every single day at 11:00 a.m. when no one's home if you were out to work in school whatever and the different maps your map lists you can save their voice mode switching adjustments there as well lots of different things and in consumable stats so this is to do with your brushes and everything going to tell you when you need to replace them and flushing it ok this is probably because I have limescale problems here in Spain our water quality's terrible so that's just to flush out the of course the pump that's in the mop mode when you have that connected and a lot of different things in here all sorts of stuff you can even manually control it it doesn't mention I won't go through absolutely everything here but there are so many different settings the app is actually very good I do like the different zones you can set up of course also virtual walls as well to stop it from going into different areas you don't want it to go and really there's just absolutely everything you can possibly think of also multi storey mode as well so it'll save the ground for and the upper level too so you don't need to separate vacuums of course not but it doesn't have to save and record and remap time for the different floor most importantly just how does it clean up so it gets around obstacles fine just like any of these vacuum cleaners they'd have the laser mapping on them in the front sensors it won't fall downstairs it can go up lips of about two centimeters as well under beards no problem around you can see some toys here and setup that my children have it handles that fine it might push a few things around but any finer small little objects that could get stuck up inside the brush that will cause it to jam and just like little toys and things can often happen so you wanna make sure the course the area's cleaned up before you put these vacuums on now I did notice that it's not so good with carpets or mats so my example here I just laid the mat out with rice dried lentils lentils dust everything I could think I've just chucked it all down on the top of that okay so there's butter here and there's two and it did okay but if you have a look it did leave quite a bit that's because it dips down a little bit this mat has carpet that is in slightly different levels and it didn't like that and I think that's to do with they brush on the underside of this so the brush here is not suspend it doesn't get up-and-down adjusting to different surface Heights but the rubber rock is five necks that I have does as you can see so I can push down on this one and it will adjust I think to carpets a little bit better there so I think if you've got a lot of carpets in your household then maybe this one isn't the best choice probably then I would go for the s5 max however let's get on to the mopping though the mopping part is very good unnoticed so will mop floors quite well because it has that wide shaft form of mopping so it's simulating manual mopping really and it just seems to go over and it takes a little bit long to do this but it will give it a much better clean than say the s5 max which just does the S so the figure s style mopping where it just goes back and forth back and forth isn't quite as good in different mopping area as well when you have a look at the mops themselves on the back of it on the bottom there it's a little bit smaller on the s5 max I have noticed though it doesn't apply the same amount of pressure that the s5 mix does with the mop it seems to be a little bit later than me but overall it's a very good clean it doesn't leave streaks everywhere or residue it doesn't but you sometimes see little tracks from the tires that also happens on the s5 max - then the ties will leave their little tiny marks they're a little hard to see but if you notice on different tiles depending if they're really dark ones you might see a little bit but there with that so overall it's a very good vacuum cleaner the fact that it can go in around everything really well this so many features to set up scheduling different areas and modes you can use with the cleaning or the mopping as well different strengths that is greater each room can be labelled and named you can have no-go zones you can set up the invisible walls as well now the other thing too there's just like this model - there's no spot cleaning button so if you hold down on the power button on other models you could hold down for like three seconds and we're going to spot clean mode but it's either on or off or hits that into the general clean mode or home to dock which is kind of annoying I'll let other earlier models that you could just simply put them down press the spotclean button and it will just do a small little area and that was very handy now these machines you have to get up the application now you have to get the map you have to find where you are you have to slick the area or in a spot clean and then do it which is a lot more painful so hope a spot clean is somehow added with a firmware update with this one just pressing and holding the button for say three seconds and letting go spot clean mode that will be perfect there so thank you so much for watching this review here great vacuum cleaners both of these both of these you can't really go wrong but it really means I think this one for carpets more for a lot of carpets this one more for the mopping and tiled floors hope to see you back in my next video bye for nowhi chris herren this is the vo meat version three vacuum-cleaner it's under the eco system from Xiaomi the Mesha all those
